I got one of Ulta's filled train cases as a gift and this was the first shadow I used. Already, I noticed a difference between Ulta and some other brands. This shadow was awesome! It was shimmery and made my eyes look bright. The color would probably look flawless with brown eyes - I have blue and it didn't exactly clash too well. Still, it's a light shadow with pretty shimmers. Really nice to wear every day! I will probably buy this shadow separate.

Very pretty shade--decent color pay off. Smooth on the lid--VERY frosty though.

This is a poor product from Ulta. I bought it last year because I thought the gold would be vibrant. I threw it out but got it this year as part of their GWP. Urg. Still disappointing. Im not sure how the person got their swatch to show up to great but it never looks like that for me. I have used it over bases and primer... It just does not stick well to anything. On skin alone? Nothing.

I really wanted a gold color but this wasn't vibrant on me, not even when I foiled it. It was subtle and disappointing regardless of how much I packed on.

Gorgeous color!! I've had this for awhile and just tried it tonight...so glad I did!! It's a shimmery yellow/orange gold, looks beautiful when blended with other colors, and is really versatile. (it would look great blended with blues, greens, pinks, browns, reds...basically anything!!) I did a gold/cranberry look tonight using this and it was one of the prettiest eye looks I've done. This is definitely going to be getting some more use, especially for the upcoming holidays!! Adore this eyeshadow!

Super-pretty rich gold that looks a little too intense in the packaging but swatches as a rich gilded hue with orange undertones. I love it, but it may work on only some skin tones- not quite universal. A step up in the gold shadow world- seems good for blending out neutral, bronzed looks when you want some shimmer. Have not truly used it out of my box-palette set but I would reccommend testing first to make sure that the tone of if works with your skin.

This shadow is very golden and sparkly, which is nice. It can be a bit overwhelming if you wear it wet and alone though. It's a little too light for me to wear it alone. It looks really good if you apply it over another color. I like it on top of a medium pinky brown, I think it would look really good with purple too, or a darker brown. Sometimes the sparkles fall down onto my cheeks, which is annoying, so hold a klennex or something under your eye when you apply it.

So great over a creamy base!!! IMO it needs to be used with a shade stick/paintpot/avon big color pencil/NYX pencil, but it's totally worth it!!

Love it!!!!!!!!!! I was looking for a dupe to Urban Decay's Half Baked (great gold color), and this is the perfect replacement. I was tired of paying UD prices. I pare this with Ulta's Cafe Ole eyeshadow for a smoky brown gold shadow.
I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance underneath and I apply the eyshadows with ELF's studio eyeshadow brush. I dampen the brush and the shadows appear very well and last all day long without creasing of color fading. Ulta makeup has a new fan!
NOTE: If you look at the photos on www.ulta.com, they are much more peachy pigmented than they are in person. Definitely check all ulta eyeshadows out in person before purchasing.
