This has become my HG eyeliner. I think I'm on my 5th or 6th one by now! I love how intense the color is. It definitely does smudge if you touch it, so I avoid touching my eyes at all costs. But if left alone, it doesn't smear under my eyes or anything like that. I use this mainly in my waterline but I have also used it to line my upper lash line. I think it works great for both uses. It goes on really smooth.
I work the front desk at a salon so I deal with a lot of women every week. I've gotten tons of compliments on my eyeliner and have had some women ask me what I'm wearing and have gone out to buy their own!
My only complaint is that the smudger on the bottom of the pencil seems to come off a lot. At this point, I don't even bother putting it back on because I don't even use it.

I love any type of automatic eyeliners; I hate sharpening!! This eyeliner is really creamy and smooth; doesn't tug when you apply. I personally love brown liners but I use this to tight line. It can smudge onto lower lash line if you blink right away after tight lining, so I tend to keep my eyes open for a few seconds so liner can set. Color is very black. I love that the smudger at the end is rubber; very hygienic because you can clean it. Definitely would repurchase this and check out other shades from this line!
Edit: wouldn't repurchase. Smudges like crazy. The rubber smudger always pops off everytime I try to take off the cap.

I bought this on a fluke. This product is no fuss, easy to use, and performs as promised. An intense black eye-liner in a self-sharpening case. However, it irritates my eyes so I cannot use it.

I bought this eyeliner because I needed a black eyeliner that I could use on my waterline and tightline. Before, I had a MUF eyeliner. I like the MUF eyeliner more because if I put it on my upper lash line, it does not crease or transfer. This eyeliner is good only for the waterline and tightline. If I use it on my upper lash line, it transfers a lot. Other than that, I love it for everything else.

Disappointed. Its not long lasting and it's not dark enough. I do like the packaging though, it comes with a silicone smudger and a sharpener. Its creamy and easy to apply so this would nice if you have normal-dry skin but a no for those with oily skin

If I could I would give this a 3.5.
I have extremely oily skin and was looking for a serious long wear eyeliner. If you have normal/dry skin and your eyelids don't crease in a way that aggravates smudging I think this would probably be an excellent eyeliner. I love how black this eyeliner is, and I like the packaging and smudger tip.
It applies very nicely as well but it just smudges too much on me. If I use UD primer and wear eyeshadow wear is acceptable so I will use all this up but will not repurchase as I prefer Sephora's flashy eyeliner and am going to try Sephora's automatic wp eyeliner in hopes it's superior to this one.

I use this eyeliner on my lower lashline, and it is a very good eyeliner. The color really is carbon black, and the color glides on very easily. The only problem i have with it is the fact that, although the packaging promises "16 hours", it fades after about 3. I have to reaplly it throughout the day, and i find that if i dont aplly eyeshadow underneath my lashline, it smudges and i get raccoon eyes (and who wants that?). But overall its a great eyeliner.

This eyeliner is amazing. It goes on smoothly and is truly carbon black. I've tried tons of drugstore "black eyeliners" and they are not truly black.
I do not leave the house without black eyeliner on (bottom) and have been wearing black eyeliner for about 10 years. This is one of the best I have found (and cheap!), and have been purchasing it non-stop for the last 2 years.
I wear contacts, and certain black eyeliners will somehow get smeared onto my contacts throughout the day/night. Not from my own application! But from just the ingredients I suppose? Infalliable eyeliner does NOT do this to me - which is great, because if you have ever gotten eyeliner/mascara or any dark eye makeup on your contacts, it is UNPLEASANT, because it makes your vision blurry lol.

This was actually my first eyeliner that I bought and used often.
It is okay, goes on smooth enough.
The bad thing about it though is that despite the fact it's supposed to be "infallible", "never fail" and "16 hours"...
It's not. It actually fades in less than 16 hours. I wear this to school and I need to reapply the inner corners.
It doesn't smudge horribly though, and it's retractable so no sharpening needed and easy enough to use.
It's okay, but not the best. 3/5. I would purchase again if I couldn't find anything in this form that's better.

I ran out of my MF Aqua Eyes and desperately needed eyeliner, so I ran out and bought this (in pencil form). The liner glides really smoothly on my top lid, but when i put it on my top and bottom waterline, my eyes water like crazy all day! It's crazy: i can't even see sometimes. And stringy pieces always get stuck in the top of my eye. If you rub on it at all, it comes RIGHT off. But the staying power is good if you don't touch it. For ex: when i sleep later, i forget/too lazy to take it off, so when i wake up in the morning, it's exactly how it was last night; all i need to do is wipe the bottom. So all in all, it has amazing staying power, but it gets in your eyes and blinds you lol.

Like most other reviewers, I am overall very satisfied with this product. The color is great (intense black) and it's very easy to use in terms of being very smooth and easy to control (especially with the sharpener that comes with it that allows you to draw more precise lines than other twist-up pencil eyeliners). I haven't used the smudger much, so I can't really comment on it.
From the other reviews on this product, it seems most people didn't have any smudging issues with this pencil. Unfortunately, it's different for me. It smudged on my upper crease and lower eyeline after about 3-4 hours. However, every liner I've tried so far has smudged on me, so it didn't really surprise me. One small detail that annoyed me about this product was that the cap on the rubber smudger kept falling off. Other than these two things, I'm really enjoying using this liner!

I bought my Infallible liner on a whim at Walgreens -- but it has quickly become a staple. I used to use Benefit BadGal liner, then UD 24/7, then NARS...but, truthfully, this one does the trick (even better, I might add) for a fraction of the price of any of the above.
First, the color is a deep, rich black, not soft black like some. The tip is precise, even though it is self-sharpening -- which makes it very easy to line my waterline; I do not have to tug at my eyelid or wind up poking myself. In terms of longevity, this lasts all day, even sweating through a 45-minute run (gross, but it needed to be said). If you rub at it, it will come off -- so it may not be entirely smudge and budge-proof, but when left alone, I have never had any issues with it staying on all day.
For the price -- and overall -- I am very impressed with this liner and I wish I had tried it sooner. I will definitely buy it again!

I love this eyeliner! The pigmentation is great, but what I love about it more is the rubbery eraser. A lot of eyeliners have the spongy thing at the back to smudge color for a smokey effect. But, this one is different since it is rubbery, it does the most amazing job of smudging eyeliner to give you the perfect smokey liner look, much better than any brush I own that is specifically designed for smudging. So, even if you're not crazy about the liner itself, try using the smudger on any dark color on the lashline and you will absolutely love it!

I am usually a black/brown eyeliner gal. However, lately I am into the black eyeliners and wanted a good black one to define my brown eyes. The pigmentation of the eyeliner was completely wrong for my coloring. The matte color made my eyes dull and tired. And the consistency was even worst. The eyeliner didn't even last an hour on my eyes. For the price you pay for this eyeliner, much better to get a HE one.
Edit: 6/24 I tried this eyeliner again last week and I have to say I was mistaken. I think that when I first tried it on I had primer and completely changed the texture and color of the eyeliner. What surprised me is that I wore this eyeliner while running, no primer, humidity and it did not move. Wow! Besides, I am really liking the color, it does not turn gray.
Edit:7/3 Had to stop using it. My eyes were watering and looking red and I don't even wear it in the waterline. Too bad, I liked the color and the staying power. Moved on to Revlon colorstay in black.

The staying power of this eyeliner is phenomenal. I am half Asian and have a low eyelid crease. Most liners collect in my crease leaving a lovely black ring on my eyelid. This stuff stays put all day. And the black color is just perfect. I have two gripes however. Product runs out kinda fast. I've only discovered this liner over the summer and I've already gone through four of them. One of them I think came from a mishandled batch as the pencil part was broken into a couple pieces making it unusable. My other complaint is the cap. When you stick it on the end of the stick when applying the clear cap covering the blending sponge came off inside the lid and when I went to put the cap back on my liner got squished inside!! Lesson learned...put the cap on the counter when in use.

This smudged big time on my upperlid, sort of on my waterline, but held for 3-ish hours to my lower lash line before smudging, but NOT disappearing. The color is gorgeous black, but after a while, it comes like a muted black with specks of strong black in random areas.
I don't like that.
It's good for the waterline only. That's all I use it for and it looks more natural on my line at the end of school which I like because I hardly wear eyeliner on my waterline. It hurts the eyes.
Take it or leave it:)

This eyeliner is AMAZING. I'm 16 and a half, and have been wearing eyeliner since I was 12. So over the past 4 years, I've had my share of eyeliners. I discovered this one when I was about 14 and a half, and haven't used anything since. This is my HG eyeliner and I don't think I will ever use any other eyeliner but this one. I only wear it on my waterline, so I can't really review how it works on the upper last line, but let me tell you, does this eyeliner last on the waterline. All the other eyeliners I've used maybe last about 3 or 4 hours, but this one just blows any other eyeliner out of the water. I apply it Monday morning at about 8am, I tend to apply it "thick and dark" and even with washing my face, and taking my mascara off, I don't have to reapply it until the next week, unless I want to darken it up. It lasts through showers, face washes, makeup removers, ANYTHING. It doesn't run or smear down at all and it doesn't make you look like you have raccoon eyes either. This eyeliner usually last me about 5 and half to 6 months because I rarely have to reapply it. And even if I do find myself using it more often, I can usually get a solid 5 months out of it. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

This product really surprised me! The pigment is truly amazing and the liner never disappears! Pencil gives me great control of the size of the line and then smuder that it comes with is impressive. Also, there's a good amount of product for the price. Definatly worth it!

I cannot make a firm decision as to whether I really love this product or whether I just like it. It is very intense black eyeliner so that is great but it is expensive for a drugstore pencil. I ran out of this product faster than Revlon Colorstay although the pencils' length are the same. This definitely has a more intense black than Revlon. It stays on for a long time and it does not fade. I have also noticed that sometimes, it makes my eyes teary but I cannot say for sure whether this is the cause of the problem because it does not happen every time.

I do like this liner... the quality of the line I get anyways. The colour is realllly black and it stays on for a very logn time. I usually have it applied around 730am and lasts until 10pm. It easy to smudge too if you like a smoky eye but it won't move until you make it. I do prefer a pencil eyeline more than the twist up kind. I find I can't get the point sharp enough and the point always twists down when im applying. Which is kind of annoying. I would buy it again though if I can't find anything else that stays as long as this does.
