Captivating copper is a shiny medium nude. It goes really well on the application,it stays on fairly long with a lip liner. I use the annabelle water proof nude lip liner, with this lippie! Love it!

I think the reviewer below who said this smelled of old lady roses, did not buy the new version. The new 'serum' version does not have much of a scent at all, especially when compared with L'Oreal's older formula lipsticks. They finally got rid of the perfume. This lipstick is very smooth and creamy, and it's a beautiful neutral pinkish brown shade. Just perfect for a YLBB look without looking too beige or brown. I love this lipstick and hope to purchase more! Also loving the updated, sleeker gold packaging with the little window in the cap. Well done!

I finally found a light blush pink-brown for my olive skin tone! This lipstick is quality! It was exactly what I was looking for. The color is beautiful. I agree that this would look good on almost all olive skin tones, especially Latinas (like me). I didn't need to apply balm or lip gloss with this lipstick because it is so moisturizing. It also gives a shiny look. Nice and plump! I also like that it has the anti-aging serum in it. Great job L'Oreal! ****** :)

I got this lipstick when CVS had L'Oreal lippies for $5, it is normally $8.99. I am always on the hunt for the perfect nude lipstick and I do have many, but I can never had too many. I am MAC NW 45 for reference. THis is really a pretty brown pinky nude on me. I can wear it without gloss, but I usually always wear lippies with a bit of clear gloss.I wear a bit of brown liner and it's perfect. It is smooth and creamy. I was surprised how good it felt. It as cooling sensation that is kinda weird. It's not like the 'lip plumping' sensation but it is a cool sensation. It smells heavily of roses. Like old roses. Like old rose perfume that old ladies wear, yuk! And the taste is awful! Can't describe it, but it is terrible! But the color is so pretty! And even though the color is 'Captivating Copper, the color is nothing like cooper. So if you can get over the smell and taste you should try it!

Great product! Applies evenly, wears well, and did not dry my lips (as so many other lipsticks will). Color is so pretty - great with my olive toned complexion.

I love this new formula! Captivating Copper is a lovely pinky/brown. I got lovely shine payoff with this, and it feels divine going on. There is a lovely "cooling" sensation which is refreshing but not irritating. Can be applied without a mirror, as the color is very forgiving. Please see my review for this product in the color #801, Chocolate Spice.
