Ok, it's a little off because I only got this product in less than a day but...a day is good enough to prove the primer is a yay or nay. And luckily, this is a yay. I wouldn't rate it five lippies just because it's not meant for everyday usage.

It is a very heavy duty eye primer, and meant for glitter/loose pigments due to the super adhesive texture after applying on the lids. The drydown isn't exactly comfortable as you can feel the tack of the primer but it's good if I dust a small amount of loose powder on top of it when I just want to use this to hold my eyeliner. This is definitely much more heavy duty compared to the UDPP which does hold my make up quite well but this really does hold the eye makeup and keeping it extremely fresh after hours. My eyeliner stayed intact for hours upon applying it which is like one of the biggest perks for me.

Due to the adhesive texture, it is not recommended to use this everyday as it would definitely damage your lids somehow...Another reason for not giving 5 lippies is because it is so much tackier than the UDPP, this makes it really hard to blend eyeshadows upon application. However, I really don't mind making this a HG in my collection because it's so good. Of course I love my UDPP, but this is way better when I need something really powerful to hold on and the price is a definite plus compared to buying UDPP regularly.

While it is a milky-yellowish-white product in the tube, it applies on clear and dries quite fast, leaving a layer of tack for you to work on your glitter or loose pigments. LA Splash sells a lot of loose pigments, so this is definitely used to pair with it to make the pigments pop. Definitely repurchase for sure but I will also stick to my UDPP to alternate around my primers.

This was recommended to me by a fellow muaer. Said it is better than Pixie Epoxy which i kept hearing about but didnt want to order online. I have not tried epoxy but this is an awesome sealer. i have eye primers i never use, bare minerals brand and also the infamous UD primer which didnt impress me, but this ones convenient (doe foot wand). You cannot really blend many colors as any eyeshadow put over it STICKS. I dont use it for glitter. but this holds onto all my eyeshadow until i take it off. It lasts all day and makes my not so awesome quality eyeshadows and my good quality eye shadows so much more vibrant. Its also awesome with mineral shadows. I recommend this highly!

I intially bought this since I have heard good reviews about it and I thought it could replace LORAC Behind the Scenes Primer that I usually use. This did not work as a primer. It did not keep my eyeshadow from fading or lasting on my eyes. This will be going back to Ulta.

i bought this eye shadow sealer base in l.a splash to use with my glitter palette in nyx,my loose l.a colors eye shadows,my nyx glitter liner,my l.a splash glitter liner, that i want to set,so that no glitters fall off!as for eye shadows i am a blending person so i would only use it only for a one shadow look.like a silver shimmery,or a gold shimmery.so,really like that it holds on my glittery looks!last long!sticky, but, yes needed that to hold on my glitz! Love it!

Finally was able to find a sealer at ULTA. Only used this a couple times but so far I like it. Price was good. Does what it's supposed to. Consistancy is nice. Will have to add more once I've used for a while.

Best eye lid primer I've used so far. I'd swatch some e/s with it on my arm along with 3 other primers I have (ELF, NYX & Palladio) so far the LaSplash was the most vibrant & held the color in place neatly. All the others dried up matte leaving a light dull powdery-like residue except the La Splash. The only bad thing about this eyelid primer I would say is the stickyness of the product when applied to the skin, although it dries up and diminishes quickly. Also the length of the applicator tops is oddly lnog which takes up a lot of space in my make up drawer. I love this product & will be picking up another ones especially when on sale at ULTA.

At first I didn't like this. I was using shadows from Coastal Scents and it didn't blend well, it creased, and caused my shadows to pill. Then I tried it with a creamier shadow and it works a lot better. It still is difficult to blend well so I recommend this if you are doing eye-makeup that doesn't require A LOT of blending. Minor blending seems to be okay. It lasts pretty well, not as good as my TFSI but better than most drugstore bases. I use this when I don't necessarily need an all day hold, like if I'm just going out to dinner or something. It works well for that. The only thing I don't like about this, is that obnoxiously long handle. I don't know why LA Splash does that. There is no need to have a handle on cosmetics that long!

EDIT: I find this works better for me as a sealer as opposed to base/primer. It's too sticky to be able to blend shadows. But it works great to mattify my eyelids when all I want to wear is eyeliner. It keeps my eyelids from getting oily throughout the day and my eyeliner stays in place with no smudging. So I change my nay to a yay on if I'd buy again.

after looking around at reviews for a good, affordable glitter adhesive, i found this and purchased it for about $5 at ULTA... and it's perfect! i dab/pat a bit onto my FINISHED eye and wait a few seconds before i pat glitter on top. it won't budge all day/night and keeps the glitter off my face. no fallout whatsoever! the trick is to use this on your finished eye as the tackiness will not allow for further blending. a tiny amount goes a long way and best of all... it's dirt cheap compared to other glitter adhesives! i definitely recommend this product for glitter-lovers and will buy it again.

I really enjoy this product, but use it for only specific applications bc I feel if used too much it could be harsh on the eyelids. I use this to adhere glitter or very glittery shadow/pigments. It works FAB to hold flecks of glitter, and is long lasting. How I use it is to apply my undercoats of e/s then dab this over top (dabbing being key, since it will wipe off e/s otherwise), let it dry about half way then dab the glitter or otherwise on top. I am careful to put this only where I want the glitter to stick b/c once dry blending is nearly impossible. I am surprised to see others are using this as a primer, I would not recommend this as a primer or a dupe for any primer. The product also has a glue-type aroma, which is part of the reason I think it may be too harsh for everyday and shouldn't be used as a primer.

I absolutly love this stuff. For people who say oh its too tacky to blend, I dab color on first then let it set for a minute or two then add a little bit more color to the brush then try blending. It works wonders.

I also love how dramatic it makes colors look. That ehh really wasn't worth it eyeshadow turns into this bold look at me creation. And the best part it actually stays put (gasp!)

I bought this looking for a UDPP dupe. I love this stuff. It works great. I feels sticky/tacky after you apply it, but I think that is why it works so well. It doesnt mess up my application at all, but it the stickyness does make it a tad bit harder to blend. The only thing I would change about it is that I wish it came in different colors instead of just clear. Good find!

Okay, so I know I gave it a rather low rating, but hear me out!!!!
For my skin (eyelids, here) this remains slightly tacky, even after about 4 minnutes of waiting for it to become, well, less tacky! Haha! But it makes it harder for me to smudge/blend eyeshadows out. However... if I am just doing a quick make up look, I will use this, as I'm not too fazed about blending out anything if I'm on the run.
I ADORE this for glitter application though! For parties or theme nights at my favourite nightclub, this is perfect! I put it on, and wait no more than a minute before applying my loose glitter. Those little glitters ain't going anywhere. Nuh. No where. (for me at least).
this was my first ever base, and sometimes you hold onto your first 'love'...and that's what I've done with this. 3 years down the track, and I still have this in my 'every day make up stand'.
I recommend this most difinitely!

I have already purchased 3 of these and given a few away to friends because I love this stuff so much. I used to use UDPP but the bottle irked me and I cut myself trying to open it to get the rest out so I figured I would look around. This is like eye shadow glue! my eyeshadow and liner doesnt move until I take it off! I also like the fact that its clear and if I choose to go a little sheer it will still stay all day, and I dont know about the rest of you but when I used to go sheer either I got more of the PP color through or the eyeshadow just faded away after an hour with primer. Definite HG for me.

I'm relatively new to eye bases/primers. I only tried MAC PP, NYX base and this one. What I do know is that this one is very different from MAC & NYX. I received this base in the La Splash Enchanted Forest Smokey Eye kit that also contained 3 pigments and a liquid e/l. La Splash is a see thru manilla colored liquid and goes on the lid clear, thin, watery & sticky. Once dried, it's like cement! The feeling of this dried is uncomfortable for me. I feel like I'm wearing paper mache. I like this for applying pigments which I think this base is geared for. However, I have pinkish blue pigmented lids and would prefer a base that neutralizes the lid to provide a blank slate. I think this will serve a purpose for La Splash pigs and other pigs you may have. I like this base, but I don't normally wear pigs and would prefer a base more geared for neutralizing the lid and eliminating creases.

pros: clear color, good packaging, cheap-ish, alternate uses
cons: too sticky, small amount of product, funky smell

i bought this to go with the LA Splash eyeshadows that i am in LOVE with. i discovered this brand on my honeymoon and then about a year later a store in my town started selling them. this is listed as a shadow base, for that purpose i found it too sticky. it is similar to the way you would put on udpp, a doe foot applicator with a creamy-liquid consistency. this stuff dried like ticky-tac, i kid you not. it is so sticky that it will literally stick the eyeshadow from you crease to the lid area and over the period of a couple hours it will pull it down. it doesn;t cream and it doesn't fade it literally takes all the product out of the crease and onto the lid like a magnetic force. since this was like industrial udpp and not usable by me for that purpose, i figured out a new one for it. it makes an amazing liner sealer for when you use powder eyeshadow as a liner. it wont budge, it makes a smooth line with a tiny pointed tip liner brush and since it is clear it doesn't change the color of the shadow you are working with. i depotted with into a little travel screw top container to make it easier to use as a liner sealer and it is great. with that as the purpose this stuff will last forever!

I too got this at Ulta as well. It shared a display with some really cool eyeshadow pigments that are pretty useless on their own. You definitely need this base to use the shadows, but this works with other brands as well. This works as well as UDPP, but use a light touch.

I found this at Ulta along with the display of glitters/shadows from this line. Combined, it does not come off. I mean most brands claim they are budge proof, but this really does it. Without the sealer shadows are sheer, but with it they are vibrant and don't move. You can blend them, but they stay. It intensifies any shade or the glitter. The micro fine glitter didn't flake or fall out. I will be using this forever if they keep making it. It is tacky at first, and only a sheer amount is needed. Then it dries and you feel nothing. An amazing product! Definately a pro product for less than $7. Update: You might have some issues with blending dark eyeshadow, but for glitter it stays put. I believe this is a waterproof base. It holds up against oily skin and humdity/water.
