Okay, so i know this product has had many bad reviews but after trying it out myself i don't think it's that bad. I think the best way to use it, which would help avoid the whole oil slick thing, is to just use the bare minimum of it (i.e. about a pea sized blob) and dot it on the places needed. You honestly don't need much of it for it to work. I would probably recommend this for people who just wear the bare minimum make up with powder.
I really advice not to use too much though, just in case it does cause your skin to go extra shiny.

This product does not do what it says it will do! I have combination skin and I usually have an oily t-zone and oily skin around my nose, this product said it's 'oil-absorbing micro-sponges work to reduce skin oiliness so you look youthfully radiants, not shiny'. Well it didn't reduce the oiliness, I didn't look youthfully radiant, I looked shiny and oily! Will not be spending £17 on this again!

This product is terrible!!
I have very, very oily skin and I need a light moisturiser which doesnt block my pores or make my skin look oilier than it already is.
It is very light and smooth in texture and it absorbed into my face very well but thats as nice as I'm going be!
Although it didnt block my pores it made my face look like an oil slick after I had applied my mineral foundation within a couple of hours.
Complete and utter waste of my hard earned cash!!
For people with oily to very oily skin - stay away!

This product does have a nice feel when it goes on the skin and little deffinatly goes a long way. However, in terms of it doing what it says it does im not convinced. I didn't feel that it moisturized my skin enough on my cheeks and i don't think it did a great deal for controlling the oil in my t-zone very well either. I will not be reperchancing, plus the price is deffiantly ott and the packaging isn't great either.

Being fussy in choosing moisturisers, I decided to spend £16.25 on this day moisturiser as it claims to do what my past moisturisers have failed to deliver. This hypo-allergenic Day Sorbet claims to resuce skin oiliness without blocking pores, with lyaluronic acid to keep skin hydrated for 24 hours and SPF 15 to protect. The cream itself is white, and has a light texture. As with the majority of other No7 moisturisers, this somes in a frosted glass jar container and it is packaged in a sky blue box.
I was disappointed to find that this moisturiser does not deliver as well I would like it to. This cream is indeed moisturising, easily absorbed and non-greasy but it does not help to control oiliness. After several 2-3 hours my skin becomes shiny and blotting sheets are needed often. The cream has a light, fresh scent, keeps skin soft and hydrated (perhaps too moisturising for oily skin) but does not reduce shine so I give this a neutral rating.
