This is such a pretty blush! I've been on the hunt for a blush that makes me look happy and refreshed for years, and this is it. You could rise at 6AM after a wild night of partying, yet a pop of this on your cheeks will have your complexion looking healthy and alive. I can't say this for any other blush.
I'd describe the color as a heavily pigmented, bright, watermelon pink. And when I say pigmented, I really mean it! I advise applying this with a stippling brush (MAC 188 is perfect) for the most natural looking application.
It's funny. I didn't think that a completely matte blush would be able to bring life to my complexion, but this proved me wrong. Illamasqua is really onto something! The texture isn't chalky or "powdery" like many matte powder blushes either. It's very rich and almost "creamy" if that makes sense. It feels luxe.
The only thing that I don't like about this blush is the crappy packaging. It feels cheap, and it's not a perfect square (instead, edges are inverted and the corners taper back out). I've heard many people say that the packaging comes apart easily, so I've been careful when storing this, lol.
Other than that, this blush is pretty much perfect. Nothing will awaken your complexion like Illamasqua's 'Hussy'!

The shade gives my cool/neutral pale olive with red undertones complexion the perfect natural warm blush... Too bad. It is the same shade as my natural blush except it is too warm. It is very pigmented. The trick is to use a bit right on the apples of the cheeks. I can't fault it for not being the right shade for me so: It loses lippies for cheap packaging and being so expensive (but the redeeming quality is that a little goes a long way) and it is not available in my town, nor does Sephora Canada ship it (wth?) that I had to buy it on evilBay. For a $30+ blush, I also expected better packaging. I won't be repurchasing this brand because I prefer Make Up Forever.

NW10-15 (neutral-cool toned, very fair), blue eyes, Color season is True Summer, Baumann Skin Type is OSPW.
I tried this blush because of so many positive reviews. While this blush didn't look bad on me (when I applied with a light touch using a fan brush) I actually find I prefer my Bobbi Brown blush in Apricot. This gives me the effect that Hussy gives me, but with slight more glow and less matte. This might work for alot of people, but I guess I'm a little disappointed that this blush did not improve on what I already have and love.

Woa! Super pigmented! Might be best applying this with a fan brush as my regular blush brushes just collect too much product even with lightest touch. I actually found this really hard to blend, but persevered as the colours just so beautiful! Even when I did manage to blend this out it still looked quite obvious on my skin. Definitely not a colour I'd wear to work, but perfect for a fun summer weekend look.

Sorry but I don't really get the hype... I find this blush very intense and hard to put on a natural-looking amount because it is so pigmented. Moreover, powders tend to dry out my cheeks so I prefer cream or gel formulas... Finally the packaging seems cheap considering the price.

The watermelon flush was a nice color but it got very clumpy. The product was too expensive for my liking. I will not be buying hush again because of this. The packaging is nice but product didn't work as I wished.

Been getting into this brand for the past few months and I'm very impressed. Pigmen is super high, price is well worth it and am still working on my colleciton. Everyone should try at least one blush from this brand just to see for themselves the quality. Love mine!

I bought this blush on the internet after having seen all the great reviews on MUA. FYI, I'm asian and live in Brisbane, Australia, I bought this via Myer Online as the store didn't have it, also Myer are offering 20% during the end of financial year sale, so i got mine for 33.60:-)
This blusher is totally beautiful, you REALLY REALLY just need a tiny amount for a really nice finish. The blush gets picked up by the brush very easily so you have to be careful to not dip your brush in too much. Also the colour lasts for a long time, i apply it in the morning around 7, by 10pm, it's still there.
Overall, the colour is beautiful, easy to apply, the packaging is Okay but not super special. I already prefer it to my Nars Orgasm blusher.
This was definitely a great buy for me. Ladies if you are considering buying a blusher for yourself or a friend, you really can't miss this one.

Great color (I would describe it as a bright watermelon pink with a hint of coral) on my N10 skin (yes a light hand is required) and wears for over 12 hours with minimal fading.
I have found that the best way to apply this blush is with a brush with a smaller head (I use the Illamasqua Blusher Brush 1 which has a slightly smaller head than a MAC 109). I tap (not sweep) the head of the brush into the blush and then tap onto my face. I use a clean fluffy face brush or blush brush to blend out the color.
Even though this is a matte blush it never appears chalky or patchy (which I think has something to do with the oil and wax in the formula). I was afraid I would break out due to those ingredients, but have not have any issues at all.
I highly recommend the Illamasqua matte blushes, they wear great on me and the colors, although scary in the pan, blend to perfection on the face.

I like light pinks and peaches for blush but I saw so many raving reviews for this and got really curious. So I bought it when i saw it for 20% off. What I saw in the pan was what I got on my cheeks. It's a darker sort of pink that leans a little coral but there was no orangy colour when I applied it.
First up..it is REALLY pigmented. I swept my blush brush over it and I got ultra reddish cheeks. (For reference: I'm about NC15) So I literally used the brush to dab the surface and applied with a light hand. I think a less dense brush would do better with this. (maybe a fan brush like other reviewers suggested).
The blush lasted and lasted. I put it on at 9am and reached home at 10pm after walking in the sun etc. At 10pm, it still looked exactly the same as when I put it on. (However, I also put primer, foundation and loose powder under it.) Even NARS blushers don't last that long on me. NARS blushes only last an average amount of time on me (5-6hours?) before they fade.
Frankly, I wasn't very impressed with the blush colour but it is gorgeous in photographs! When I wear lighter coloured blushes, the colour doesn't really show up in photos but this looks really really nice. So actually I do like this blush but I want to try the lighter colours next time.
Oh yeah the packaging is lousy (difficult to open if you've long nails) but I'll live with it =)

Ok I had to review this now because.... my slab boke in pieces the other day!
Now, I have NEVER had a slab of blusher powder break, nope sirie never had an eyehsadow break either.
Highlighter ( bobby browne brick, YSL compact highlighter)
But a Blush... WTF.
So thats why it doesn't get a five from me...
I gave 3 for packaging, ... yes its a fab shape... but not good for placing next to otheres in Pro MUA transit... in fact I'd say its the protruding corners that take some pressure impact and then lead to the breaking... Physisists out there... research required!
I recoken they should go back to square and have a raised or coloured inlay to define the illamaqua brand shape... like thier boxes!
BUT YES.... PERFECT colour....MAC used to do similar colour in a blush cream called... VIRGIN funny emough!

This is my favourite blush. I absolutely love it. It is that perfect Pinky/corally tone that will look good on any skintone. I also love that it is matte. This is a very pigmented blush, and a little goes a long way. I just have to lightly tap my brush in it and I get enough product. I know that this will last a long time! And its just beautiful.

This is my 6th Illamasqua blush and they don't even sell Illamasqua where I live. This blush is such a beautiful and unique warm, bright pink. I can see this suiting every skintone since it is so pigmented. I ordered this from ASOS so it was about $32 CAD with free shipping. My only gripe is the packaging. Illamasqua blushes break easily and the packaging is very weak as well as hard to open.

Being the makeup Hussy that I am... I bought this in Illamasqua's Easter Egg Hunt sale! So for the cost of a drugstore brand blush, I got this gem! Lucky me!
However, being used to MAC sheertones, oops! I thought I was being smart by swiping a bit with my finger onto my cheek, and then thinking I could buff it out with a brush. How wrong I was! This super duper pigmented baby was not going anywhere! I ended up smushing it around with my fingers, using a tissue, what an adventure.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, beware! It's a beautiful colour but it is a little unforgiving. No need to layer here - more like use a duo fibre brush and stipple it on gently. Goodluck everyone :)

I've been dying to try this for AGES and finally found a Sephora that had it. What to say? It lives up to the hype, plain and simple. A fabulous bright matte pinky-coral color that lasts and lasts. After some 16 hours of wear most of my foundation is gone but Hussy remains.
Not thrilled with the packaging as I feel it is a bit bulky compared to, say, NARS. I travel a fair bit so that's important to me. I also find opening the compact to be a bit of a chore.
This stuff is unbelievably pigmented. I merely suggest contact between the bristles of my blush brush and the powder and have more than enough for my NW15ish skin. It will probably last forever. Thumbs up, Illamasqua.

The color is matte, no girly shimmers. I like the way it blended in my skin. Made my cheeks look smooth and glowy, not shimmery. I soon see it becoming one of my HG aka Holy Grail products.
I am sure this color would work well on many skin tones. It’s an amazing color and equally nice product… I like its stylish packaging and have been wearing it nonstop .One swipe and it instantly brightens my complexion. It is a blush which one can wear during day as well as night. …but the color is so perfect on my skin tone that I can live with that packaging... This blush is expensive but something which makeup lover will love to keep in their stash. This will lasts for years
If you have not tried anything from Illasmasqua then I suggest you to start from their blushes which it is well known for.

I often think that high quality pigmented powders are the perfect cosmetic colouring mediums - well just try this to check. This clear singing hue just works magic on anyone. Just adapt from lily white to ebony dark. Its a warm sweet pink that makes me feel real goood - orgasmic really -
One can only hope that Illa isn't going to bite the dust in a takeover anytime soon...
