This is one of my all time fave scents. If you are looking for a good Winter fragrance, this one is a must have! It is a sweeter version of Coco Mademoiselle, which is a classic. I have read that this product has a floral smell, I suppose with each persons body chemistry the smell is different, however I don't smell that at all. I would definitely describe this as a Sweet Oriental. It lasts longer than most fragrances on me, and my boyfriend absolutely loves the smell of this stuff. As with all fragrances, I would recommend layering with the lotion that pairs with this, or a non scented lotion to make sure that you get the most lasting power out of this. You cannot go wrong with this fragrance !!

I love the fragrance, it dries down in a warm sweet woody smell, the package is lovely, but unfortunately the staying power is really disappointing :( after two hours is completely gone... I won`t repurchase, I was expecting this fragrance to last longer for my money.

This is very sexy, warm scent. I picture this in the fall or winter. When I first smelled this, pictures of rich well dressed ladies with red lipstick and fur on. This is more of a mature rich scent. I absolutely love this.

I was looking for a christmas present for my mother-in-law & I came across this scent @ Macy's. I asked the sales person to show me testers of new fragrances that would be appropriate for a woman over 50. Well... This was amongst the batch that was presented to me. I immediately took to this fragrance. I absolutely LOVED it @ first sniff!! It also seemed to be a great scent for the cold weather months. I also noticed that it is a long lasting scent but not over powering. It's definitely NOT a ridiculously strong scented "old-lady" perfume. Not by any means.... It's modern, original, & very appropriate for anyone over 30... That's why I decided to keep it for myself!!! I had already purchased DAISY, by Marc Jocobs EDP @ Sephora for myself b4 going to Macy's to look for the gift... I fell in love so much with CH that I actually wound up giving the DAISY perfume to my mom-in-law instead!! I also noticed that many other women over the age of 30 have written rave reviews about this scent. This goes to show that it is truly a sophisticated fragrance for older women...

I was happily surprised by how great this is!! It is happy and a little heavy, which is perfect for a cold gray Portland day!! I can't stop smelling myself!! It reminds me of the happiness and magicalness of Christmas from my childhood!! Truly wonderful!!!!

I LOVE this scent! I'm on my second bottle. I am terrible at explaining what it smells like, but adore the scent, and get compliments from men and women on it. The packaging is darling, but you cannot see that you are running out bc leather covers all of the glass. To me, it smells a lot like Flower Bomb. This is my signature scent for now and works day and night. I've not had such fragrance success since Dior Addict - I wore that for many years and compliments were so frequent on that. So, if you loved Addict - try this!

This is basically a sweeter Coco Mademoiselle (for the reviewer who asked) without the patchouli-vetiver drydown.
Personally, I much prefer Coco Mademoiselle, because the patchouli drydown is what I like about it.
Oops, sorry this review is for CAROLINA by Carolina Herrera.

Love this fragrance- Not too flowery, a bit of tea, rose, spice ?-it was one of my Xmas gifts to myself this year, I had to splurge! We did a review of this fragrance and three others on our weekly podcast 'Because We Said So' and you can hear what we said (this scent got 4 thumbs up - everyone loved it) about it over at http://www.thebecauseshow.com

I have little good to say about this scent. First, the components smell primarily synthetic. It is a lean scent, despite the supposed round notes of cinnamon, praline, woods, & leather. Second, it may be the choice of notes rather than the way they are combined, that dooms this perfume. A Citrus Floral Leather Gourmand? The citrus/pepper top reminds me of industrial cleaner, and the pomelo clashes horribly with the praline. The floral heart lies muddled and unnoticed. Once the top notes have blown off, the bearable drydown is mostly woodsy praline. I get no leather whatsoever. Despite all this olfactory action, CH lacks dynamism and manages to be boring as well as inferior. That's a blessing in this case.

The initial spritz provides a rather fresh note where the bergamot and the orange really dominate. Then it gradually evolves into something sweeter and it is where the praline appears and takes center stage! At this point it loses its freshness and becomes a rather unblended sugary mix which might be too sweet for my taste. Although it is described as a oriental/floral, I detect very weak flower notes ( rose and jasmine) and I would personally describe it more as a gourmand/woody. It is not bad, actually it suits cold weather and can be easily worn at day but is not really unique and the staying power is average. I have bought a small bottle (50ml) and I am not completely thrilled with my purchase, although I will still get some use out of it.

This is a lovely perfume. Floriental, sweet at first and then the drydown is woody and just lovely. I agree that the opening smells similar to Britney Spears' Believe but the drydown smells like Hilary Duff's With Love drydown. It's like both scents rolled into on somehow. I like both of these perfumes and love this one as well.

I purchased this during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale in July, 2009. The packaging was gorgeous. It came as a two-piece set, body lotion and fragrance. I like to layer my fragrance. The bottles appear to be covered in a red leather-type substance with large silver tops.

My first impression of this fragrance is that it is spicy, a bit warm, and a bit sweet, but just a smidgen of the sweet. It didn't seem to dry down much on me, it just seems to mellow out.

I usually wear Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, and I usually get a compliment from both men and women. I haven't received any comments after wearing this CH by Carolina Herrera, good or bad - nothing! I've been wearing it off and on since July, but more often now that the weather is turning colder. I like to wear warmer scents in the winter. I will be wearing this about 2/3 of the time this winter, alternating with my usual Coco Mademoiselle.

I just can't be very descriptive about the "opening" or "top notes" or the kind of scents in this perfume (I'm really bad on that), but I can say I fell in love with this when I tried it at the mall, I feel really comfortable wearing this, It's not too loud or sweet, I have not received any compliments from girls but boys just seem love this perfume!!! I've received compliments on this scent by at least 15 guys, my boyfriend describes this as "irresistible" or "intoxicanting" I don't know what's in this thing, but it seems to be a boy magnet

Tried this at the mall the other day and was immediately reminded of a favorite holiday scent of mine: Burberry Brit Red. CH's top notes are very reminiscent of Red's lovely rhubarb opening, but unlike Red, CH does not dry down to heavenly goodness but rather the same clean patchouli dry down that has dominated the last few years.

I tried this at Nordstrom's and I would have bought it, but it smelled very familiar on me. On me, CH smells like Estee Lauder Sensuous, which I love. However, Sensuous costs less and seems to last longer.
