What could have been a great product wound up being a huge flop. The color of this was very appealing on my lips (a nice dark crimson red). Unfortunately it didn't go anywhere but the center of my bottom lip and the bottom of my upper lip (does that make sense?). Basically, it made my mouth look like it was covered in blood...not exactly attractive. The packaging quality was also very poor, as the oily part of the venom leaked out all over the bottle. I really, really wish this had distributed on my lips better...the color was so pretty.

Not knowing much of anything about the Twilight franchise, I bought this simply because it looked cool and I love lip stains.
This product was a disapointment for the amount i paid for it. First off the color is cool. It gives your lips a cool bruised red look. I do notice my lips looking plumper and fuller when i wear it also.
However, it is pretty hard to achive an even distribution of color with this. When i wear this, my inner bottom lip is super dark and my top lip dosen't have as much color. The consistency of the stain itself is too oily to build a uniform color. I put a waxy balm like Burts Bees under it and that helps a bit however.
I gave it 3 stars for the deep purple red color, plumping effect and neat little package. I will continue to use it every once in a while ( wayyy to expensive to toss it) but i won't repurchase for it's uneven staining ability. A noble attempt by DUWop to create something cool and different but kind of falls short in the execution.

Living in Australia, DuWop is a difficult product to find so when I found this Lip Venom last year I was quite excited and didn't mind paying around $19 AUS for it. I have to admit though, I did feel a little disappointed when I opened the metal canister and found the tiny vial inside (it's roughly 6cm!)
The concept is you need to shake the vial to combine the 'venom' and the stain which is settled at the bottom. The colour is definitely beautiful: it's a deep crimson which you can intensify depending on how many layers you apply. I did find that after application the product didn't sting or plump as much as I had expected it to and on my lips, it felt almost too oily- as if it was threatening to 'split'. This feeling was confirmed after a few hours when I discovered that the stain had split from the venom and gravitated towards the centre of my lips (if that makes any sense haha). The second time round trying this product out, I kept my lips hydrated with a conditioning balm and found that this problem reduced significantly. This venom is a pretty product, but it can be tricky to get it to give you the results you want (ie plumping and staining power that stays!)

I, too, was disappointed that this product doesn't stain your lips very much (I actually use the blush color, which is even less effective at staining), nor does the nice shine last more than a few minutes...but it does do something very well that the regular lip venom doesn't--which unfortunately they don't publicize or promote. It CONDITIONS your lips extremely quickly, creating a smooth foundation for anything that you want to put on top.
So now it is part of my beauty regimine. I apply it several times to clean and often-dry, chapped lips. Within minutes my lips are smooth and easy to line, if I want. I use a lip tint under it, add the lip venom to smooth out the tint, and then finish with the regular lip venom. (It sometimes feels like I am single-handedly keeping Duwop in business!) Try it this way, though. It's a much more valuable product than just another lip stain!
Its unfortunate that the size is so small and a bit expensive, but its not when compared to many other less-effective products sold through Sephora and department stores.!

I really wanted to love this stuff! I am a huge fan of the idea of lip stains as reapplying lipstick during the day to the perfection I so desire isn't really possible with my hectic school schedule. The color of the Twilight Venom is fantastic, a super deep and sexy red. However, the application process is an enormous pain! Even after shaking the tube really well before use (at least a whole minute) the stain and the plumping liquid didn't really blend together upon application; basically it felt like trying to blend food dye and oil over my lips... not super conducive to an evenly-stained lip. The only solution to this I found was to spread with my fingers, which resulted in a way better (and super hot, might I add) and more even lip. But, you know, then one fingertip would be stained bright red and thats not really a look I'm going for. As much as it is a pain to use, I will keep using this stuff until the tube is gone (I mean, it looks really good) but I honestly can't justify using it more than once a week when I loathe applying it.

Well, I'm sort of disappointed I didn't like this product better. I've never been much of a Twilight fan, but ever since the Twilight Venom came out, I've been itching to try it. I love the original Lip Venom, so I was hoping this would be of the same quality. I love that it's a lip stain, I've been looking for a great deep red stain for awhile now. Overall, it wasn't too hard to apply, but I noticed the easiest way to make the stain go on evenly was to first apply and then spread around with your fingers. This caused the tips to become tinted, which really didn't bother me much, but even after using my fingers I still had to apply to certain areas that didn't want to take the color. I noticed that if I applied mark.'s Kissink Lipmarker in "Red Siren" underneath as a base, the color was much more cooperative and I could build the color up a lot better. Overall it's a really pretty color once evenly applied and I use it pretty often, but I don't know if I'd repurchase because it's kind of a hassle to apply. It's not overbearingly difficult or anything, like some reviewers make it seem, but if I'm in a hurry it's not my go-to lip product.

This stuff is horrible :(
1. PRICE: I got 2 for $26 (29000 Korean Won), but its still quite pricey.
2. SIZE: Like everyone says, its tiny. 2 and a half inches or so.
3. PACKAGING: Mine doesn't leak. But when you pull or push the applying stick (what was it called?) out of that bottle, some of the liquid will pop out a little. Maybe because of inner pressure?
4. VENOM: The "tingle" was stronger than I thought, but not a big deal. Its just an everyday-tingle you get when you eat something spicy. I'm not so sure about the plumping effect... It makes your lips feel a bit smoother (even when wiped off), but like, for a minute or so? This product does not make my lips bigger.
5. STAIN(TINT): I wanted a red staingloss. Twilight Lip Venom seemed like blood-red one, and that's why I bought it. But it looks more like hot pink. Maybe because my lips are naturally dark (as you can see in the picture linked below)? Anyways, I hate it when this happens. The stain was no longer visible after eating chicken.
6. SCENT: Cinnamon. Not too obnoxious.
Twilight Lip Venom is a perfect way to waste your money.

I really really wanted this lip stain. BAD. I love lip stains and I thought it would give me a really nice, beautiful stain. Its a nice idea, where you shake it up to get the color to mix. Buys into the whole Twilight thing. Sigh. I got a mini in a swap, and I figured I could buy the full sized if I really liked it. Its a good amount even in the mini. I slipped it on my lips, and found that the color instantly goes into the slightest of dry spots on my lips. I have pretty moisturized lips. I take care of them. So when I put it on and it pretty much fell into the edges of my lips and any little crack, I was sad. It also stayed on my lips too long, and in the edges. My mom actually thought something was wrong with my lips, like I had hurt them or something. Ugh. Yeah. No bueno.

I got this for free, so I won't complain about the price.
That being said, I've only used about half, but it's such a pain to finish up because it doesn't apply properly all over my lips. :/
I get a very botched job.
About 25% of the time, the pigment goes nicely all over, but the rest of the time, it's a blotchy mess.
It's a lovely shade, too bad it doesn't go on properly!

I know this is inspired by a vampire movie but is it meant to be an all over lip tint or is it meant to make your lips look like they have blood blotched in random places (as if you just feasted on human blood)?
Have to say, I'm not really a Twilight fan however Duwop Lip Venom is hard to find in Australia so when I saw this at a local store on sale I decided to try it. I've always wanted a lip tint.
Well, it tints your lips alright, but where it wants to. A bit of red here, a bit of red there, but not all over. I've tried shaking the bottle, rolling the bottle, not moving the bottle, patting it, spreading it, layering it, turning the applicator around ---- either way it doesn't matter. I end up looking like I've got blood stains on my lips.
If anyone has any tips on actually getting the colour ALL over your lips please post, otherwise this is a glorious waste of money & usable once a year - on Halloween.
Definitely NOT buying this again.

This thing is tiny. TINY. I ordered it online and when I opened it and saw it, all I could do was laugh helplessly at how badly I'd been suckered in by gimmicky marketing. It is as big as a sample-size vial of perfume. Smaller than my little finger, and I have small hands. It should be avoided for this reason alone. But in addition to being so small it seems like a joke, this stuff does absolutely nothing. I have it in Blush, so it's pink instead of V's blood red, but it doesn't do anything! There's a light wash of colour that dries out my lips ("plumping conditioner" my a**) and vanishes waaay too quickly. It doesn't plump my lips at all, and I thought that was the whole point of lip venoms. It's cute to look at and tastes nice, those are really the only positives. Unless you count my new resolve to never again buy a product because of some flimsy connection to something I like. What a terrible product. Lame, DuWop. Very very lame.

This is a liquid stain made of water, mineral oil, and chemicals I'd prefer to not have on my face. I like Venom gloss quite a bit, but this is a far cry from the original. As a stain it actually works pretty well--the YLBB red color goes on semi-even and lasts decently--but it dries out and irritates my lips. I wish DuWop had put a bit more effort into this, but it's gimmicky and cheap.

AUSTRALIAN REVIEWER: I find that the packaging is the worst thing. The little valve/seal at the top doesn't let you put the wand back into the tube without the product going everywhere, It has leaked through my handbag!
I also think that the colour is too pink (not enough red) and even known it says to shake it before application, I find that it still seperated too much on the lips during application resulting in an uneven stain. A disappointing introduction to Duwop products.

You have to adapt this product before you would use it daily. You have to experiment on how to layer it how to make it even and find the right layer-color for you.
I JUST LOVE IT!
It's a different color and you will really stand out.
Just not so satisfied with the little product costing A LOT!
The little bottle is leaking.... red stain all over your fingers, clothes and package.
It's not so easy to work with because it's consistency is oily and glossy at the same time.
- You have to shake it before using it so it can blend properly.
- Don't put lip balm underneath = water (lip venom) + Oil (lip balm) is not good, because it would resist each other.

A magical little potion, its a clear liquid with crimson red globules. I am not sure if youre supposed to shake it or not, and I tried applying each way, and it didnt seem to make a difference.
Anyway, just a few strokes on the lips, and they were stained the most lovely rich dark cherry red with a hint hint hint of sparkles! Dries fast, looks gorgeous! I am in love! I did not feel a burn at all, and only a slight cinnamonny scent. All in all this was a pleasant surprise, because I didnt know it was a stain when I bought it.
This is now one of my favorites.

I love duwop lip venoms, but I hated this one. The color is brighter then it looks and it wouldn't stay put. I had it go on blotchy no matter how i mixed it. It went on uneven and looked more of a bright pink then the deep red it looks. Wouldn't buy this again, nor would I recommend it to people

This product is okay. I bought it to replace my old original LV. Bad idea. For one, its not a gloss. Two, it took me a while to figure out which way it the best to apply it. At first I was having trouble. I would shake the product vigorously and then dip the applicator all the way in and apply on my bottom lip. Immediately all the color would slide to the middle of my bottom lip! I would try to do the upper lip and the sides of the bottom, but the color wouldn't stay put for some reason. It gathered right in the bottom center and made me look like some type of theater performer or something. Then there were the times were I didn't mix the product at all and just put it on over my upper and then lower lip. It stayed on more evenly. However, the color was so intense it turned bright red and was beyond a simple stain. I figured, well I spent 20 bucks on this so I didn't give up and now have found the perfect way to apply it!
I barely mix the formula at all, and I wipe all the excess of the applicator before I use it. I do my top lip very gently first, and I mean VERY gently! If I have to go over the top lip a couple times I will. The lip color should be a mid-blackberry red tint with no shine. Then I do the bottom lip extremely carefully, because this is the part where you have to be fast! The color rubs off on the bottom lip for me rapidly so I use very little, then rub it in with my finger tip. Make sure it gets rubbed in thoroughly and is not all wet. This is a stain, not a gloss. It should look slightly stained. It took me several times to get the amount of product and pressure to apply down, but now I am more apt to reach for it. I still bought an original LV after I bought this and I have layered it over for an intense effect. I prefer to use each one separately and just put my sheer but shiny coconut lip balm on over Twilight LV. The tingle is there but not as good as the original. All and all I would never get this again.
Edited after originally posting to add I just read kaaejukes review down below me a few- looks like we had a similar experience! I wonder why they formulated the product in this manner. I am glad to know it was not just me who had a weird time with this product! Cheers!

I purchase this product this morning . I love lipstains and the cherry color that this product gives my lips , although it taks a LONG time to acheive a well blended look . This lipstain applies very blotchy (1 lippie ff) , Does not plump my lips at all . . ( 1 lippie off) . If you have time and patience and enjoy BRIght pink lips , this product is for you .

I like the smell. Its a pretty color. Its a bit hard to blend and it kinda leaks into the outerpackageing tube thing. Its a bit over priced. I dont realy use it. It drys out my lips. I wont buy again
