I have longish, mature, dry hair. As I've aged my straight hair has turned curly and fuzzy underneath. I am always looking for products that smooth and sooth the hair. I used this with the shampoo this morning. The shampoo left a heavy feeling to my hair which I really disliked and while the conditioner had a good slip, when I got out of the shower I could see the 'dryness' through my wet hair. Those with dry hair may understand what I mean. I clearly needed moisture and I quickly realized that my hair was going to dry all fuzzy. I blew out my hair using the no frizz styling creme. I had to flat iron the h*ll out of my hair to smooth it down. I got the no frizz trial pack for 30 bucks and what a waste of money that was. This was all just a big 'NO' for me.

I am reviewing this probably too soon, I used it and found that my hair possibly got even frizzier, but the next day and even later on that day it was much better and the next day is was soft and manageable. I tried it with the Style extender and both products together was AWFUL. dry fly away and very frizzy but soft, I was about to write this whole line off but the next morning I looked in the mirror and my hair looked beautiful, it didn't look like my hair. My hair didn't have the shine it usually does and its a little limp without as much control as I usually have, but there is great potential here for a HG product, and its worth it to play with it and try to get the right combo for my hair -- a little argan oil with the leave in treatments perhaps? I will update, with the price, I think the angels should start singing but I'm willing for a little bit anyway to try to figure these products out.

I have fine, wavy, mixed-texture hair that I used to get chemically straightened in high school, and now that I'm older and trying not to damage my hair as much, I only get the BKT every 4 months.

I used this conditioner both in Miami (humid), DC (medium humidity during fall), and LA (no humidity). I have to be honest and say that the only place I felt my hair looked smoother and less frizzy after I blow dried it was LA, which naturally has no humidity. I'm not sure why this didn't work for me, but glad I only bought the travel size to try.

I have used the product for more than a month. And I begin to notice that I loose more hair with this product.

I can't believe there are so many bad reviews about this...I thought the conditioner was great! It made my hair smooth and frizz free. I'm not a big fan of silicones like pantene so liveing proof contioner is great!

I tried this along with the shampoo, and it dried my hair out and made it hard to detangle. The smell is weird. I just was not pleased with this product and it had to go back. My hair type is 4a/b.

I've been using Living Proof shampoo and conditioner pretty much exclusively since they came out (I'll use something else once or twice a month if I feel the need for a clarifying shampoo). I've also used almost all of the styling products, which I'll review separately. I originally bought Living Proof s&c on a business trip, when I saw my reflection in a store window and was so horrified at the size of my hair that I scurried into the Sephora on the next block. The Living Proof line had just come out the month before, and although it was expensive, anything that promised "no frizz" sounded pretty good to me right then. It turned out to be an inspired purchase and I've never strayed since. It's actually completely transformed my hair. Living Proof is CG (Curly Girl) - friendly -- it contains no SLS and no silicones. When I switched over to using CG-friendly haircare for several years, my formerly lackluster, wimpy waves turned into gorgeous tumbling curls. (Note: this isn't unusual -- check out the NaturallyCurly.com forums for amazing before and after photos!). In addition, the Living Proof products delivered on their "no frizz" claim -- my hair is soft, glossy, and frizz-free. Expensive stuff (though I do my best to stock up during the F&F sales), the candy-orange scent isn't really my cup of tea, and the packaging could be improved (flip-tops on the bottles snap off very easily, allowing water to get in/bacteria to grow if the product is not transferred to a different bottle, which is a pain), but I'll keep buying anyway, because my hair has *never* looked this good.

I have thick curly hair with a strong inclination to frizz so I'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to anti-frizz products. I tried this product in different ways.

1. I washed my hair as normal (once) then used it as a leave in conditioner. No difference at all. And this stuff is expensive so you'd get through a bottle pretty quickly especially as girls with thick hair tend to wear it a bit longer.

2. I washed and conditioned my hair with my usual Pantene shampoo and conditioner and then used the product as an additional leave in conditioner. It takes a lot to weigh my hair down so I was prepared for a bit of extra oiliness. Again - no difference.

3. I used the product as a leave in conditioner and then used a diffuser. The curls looked ok but no different or longer lasting than when I use a homemade bottle of half conditioner/half water to add some zing to the curls.

I want a product that I can use at home without having to always spend hours blow drying and that will make my thick curly hair look nice and not just frizzy. This stuff is £18 in sterling and about $27 in dollars - way way too much for what it does. Which is sod all in my case.

Waste of money. I will not be repurchasing.

I tried this along with the shampoo and wasn't very impressed. After rinsing out the conditioner, my hair didn't feel soft at all. After styling it, my hair still didn't feel soft but felt coated and was weighed down. My hair is naturally fine/thin, I think this would be better for those with thick hair who need the help with coating/weighing their hair down.

I started with the expensive travel size from Sephora, and returned a week later to purchase a full size. I have long, highlighted, fairly- coarse hair. This lovely conditioner truly does keep the frizzies at bay, and leaves my hair shiney, soft, and full of body. I was reluctant to try this because I thought, like lots of other frizz-control products, this would flatten my hair. Not so! The scent is not overwhelming, either. A little bit of this product truly does go a long way. Overall I feel it is an expensive conditioner, but I will repurchase.

I'm writing this review after only one use, so I will update if my opinion changes. Another note, I tried this in conjunction with the No Frizz shampoo. Anyway, I was really impressed with this. I have thick, frizzy, dry, coarse hair, and all the No Frizz products I've tried have really worked for me. I could see that for someone with hair that's in better shape than mine, these products might leave their hair feeling too slick - but for me, they've really left my hair feeling smoother - and no frizz!

I bought the (EXPENSIVE!) travel size of the shampoo, conditioner, and spray treatment from Sephora. The shampoo didn't impress me all that much BUT used in conjunction with the conditioner and spray treatment - WOW! BEST EVER! These products are expensive, but like most pricey products, a little does go a long way. The more I've used the shampoo, the more I've come to like it. In the beginning I felt it striped my hair; left it a horrible tangled mess. With time and use it's not feeling so dramatic that way. I don't notice any odor from any of the products. The conditioner is absolutely terrific - light-weight, fantastic de-tangling (my biggest problem), NOT greasy. The spray treatment adds a long-lasting "coating" to my hair (again, not greasy or heavy). My hair is very shiney, very smooth and NO TANGLES - I can brush right through it (what a relief!). I re-purchased the full size products when I was about halfway through the travel-size. I recommend that you at least try these products.
***LATER*** I'm changing my ratings on these three products -- after using them for about 2 weeks all the shine is gone from my hair. And I have VERY shiney hair. Back to my usual and favorite ol' stand by hair care....

LOVE! Thanks to the Sephora sample, I think I found my HG shampoo and conditioner! After one use, I rushed to the sephora site to buy it. I also look forward to trying their volumizing product. My hair doesn't feel like my frizzy, fried sorry hair. It feels like someone else's, someone with really nice hair. It kinda reminds me of the lovely silky hair you get when you get a glaze/gloss treatment over your color at the salon. I also notice that I don't have to "glue" down my flyaways with serums or sprays. My other HG hair finds are the Wella system professional luminous mask and Morrocan Oil to protect it from the blowdryer.

My original intent was to try the Straight Making Cream but bought the shampoo & conditioner because the Sephora lady said the cream had a negative effect when mixed with products containing silicones. The shampoo & conditioner left my hair dry & frizzy, although the cream seemed to work OK. I checked out the Living Proof website and contacted them by e-mail to ask advice on the silicone situation, and was told by the CEO that it was OK as long as you didn't mix them in your hand before applying, so I switched back to my Organix Coconut shampoo & cond and have loved the Straight Making cream ever since. I am reviewing to let other readers know what I learned and hopefully will help them make an informed decision if they want to try these products.

I got a sample of this from Sephora. I was able to get about 3 uses from the sample. I love the smell of this conditioner. It did a good job of keeping the conditioner at bay. The conditioner isn't as creamy as moisturizing conditioners. I felt like I had to use more conditioner. But this could be because I have damaged hair. It does say that the more you use it the better the results. This other anti frizz system I tried, Garnier, I felt like my hair was left with a film. I didn't get that with this system. I would buy this again if I had a gift card etc.

This was only slightly better than the shampoo, which was a mess. This combo actually gave me the most ugly, stripped, frizzy looking hair of my life! If you're tempted by all of the hype, just be sure and try to score a sample first to see if it's for you.

I got a sample of this from Sephora, and I LOVE it (so far)! I plan on buying a full bottle of this on my next trip 2 the mall. I hope that the "sample-is-better-than-the-full-sized-product" jinx does not apply to this product like it did to so many other products I've tried in the past. (Of course, I ALWAYS update & take away lippies when this happens.) The fragrance in this conditioner does make me sneeze in the shower, though... but I like the lift and smooth texture it gives to my fine, short hair. Normally, I mix Moroccan Oil or Argan Oil into my hair gel in order to get this same result; but the 2 days I used this conditioner, I just used hair gel and skipped the oil and got even better results after blowdrying than I do using the oil & the gel. My hair looked shiny and had more body with no frizz! I definitely intend to buy a full bottle since I only have one more application left in my sample packet. :o)

Overall this conditioner did feel pretty good on my hair and make it fill slippery and smooth. I can't say I noticed any major effect when I rinsed this out and styled my hair. I also noticed no help with frizz when used with the styler. Underwhelmed.
