Surprisingly pleasant smell and great for my oily skin, wasn't expecting any miracles in oil control department but was pleased by the non-greasy texture and that was enough to please me. Plus it has a pump, and the packaging is easy on the eyes.

AMAZING! so i have combination skin, bascially my forehead and nose get oily, but i hate using powders :( i tried this lotion, got it for $5-$6 i believe, and i just smooth a thin layer over my forehead and on my nose. it doesnt completely mattify my skin, but leaves it semi matte u know? so theres no shine, but it looks natural...so hard to explain, not quite dewy but i suppose semi-matte describes it best. looks natural, still lets ur skins natural radiance show. when i get home from school (6 hours) the very tip of my nose may be a little shiny, but thats it. great product, ok moisture but i dont reccomend putting it on ur cheeks/neck if the rest of ur skin is dry as it may not be sufficient on its own.
i suggest u buy it, lovvve it :) ive had the same tube for what, seven months? still goin strong..and cruelty free :D

In the summer I am oilier, and between that and the fact that I work at a job that is very physical, and I get very hot there, my face gets very, very shiny. On work days, even my usually successful face powders just aren't holding up. I decided to give this a try, mostly because of the very reasonable price (not much to lose). It really works quite well. My foundation applies well over it. It has greatly reduced the amount of shine I am getting on my face, and eliminates it completely for quite a few hours. I haven't had any issues with the pump as others have. Maybe they have improved the pump?

Really a quite effective product at a great price.

It actually worked on my combo skin w/oily t-zone

PROS:
Affordable
Easy to find (@ Target)
No harsh scent - smells very fresh and pleasant
Not harsh
Spreads nicely
A little goes a long way
Good amount of product
Didn't make me break out
Nice cool feeling on skin
Skin feels soft and matte
Made my t-zone less oily by end of the day!
Doesn't affect my BB cream/foundation...still blends well
Great trustable brand name: BOOTS

CONS:
The pump SUCKS - can disperse too much product by shooting it out and can get stuck at times

Can be somewhat drying on your already dry patches

I'd totally repurchase anything from Boots!

Pros: Has pump and Cheap
Cons: Doesn't control shine/oil, doesn't moisturize dry patches.

I will not be re-purchasing. Its bascially sitting on my dresser collecting dust.

I have used this product for a while now & can say it does the job. I have oily, acne-prone skin (mild) & I find that this product works great for me. I love the matte feel I get with this product, although it's not long lasting I feel it keeps my skin balanced. However I find during the winter months using a slightly more moisturizing lotion at night keeps my skin balanced. As I always say the key to finding a good skin regime is trial and error to find out what works for you. Good Luck!

This is amaaazing! It is one of the better drugstore moisturizers out there and its so cheap! The only thing is if you have open wounds on your face, the alcohol will.make it sting!

This is a nice shine control lotion that doesn't dry my skin out. I use it mostly for my t-zone because my cheeks aren't as oily. The main problem I have is with the pump, it gets out wayyy too much product, since a little bit of this goes a long way. I'd also like to mention that this has alcohol as its 4th ingredient, and I know some pl are iffy about that. It absorbs quickly and controls oil for a couple of hours, pretty good for a lotion that doesn't dry your skin out. For $6 at Target it's worth trying

WOW! I cannot be without this stuff!! I have tried everything under the sun to control my oil--it is ridiculous!! I have the oiliest skin known to man and this stuff works wonders!! My mom knows about how I am always trying to find something to help with the oil. So, one day she brought this home because she got suckered into the Boots lady at Target. My first thoughts were that she just wasted money. And, this stuff sat in my drawer for like a month before I even tested it. What is wrong with me? I'm telling you my drawers are FULL of stuff to try and control my oil--Hight End and Drugstore stuff. I hope it never quits working because its a miracle in a bottle!!

Okay so this is my first impression. Update soon ! I applied this today and it didn't get rid of my dry patches but it did minimize the shine. I did have to oil blot but only once . So far it good , im still testing it out

Who would of thought that a $5 moisturizer would be so amazing!? I was very apprehensive because I'm used to HE brands. Everything either makes me super oily or dries me out, this is perfect! I have def noticed a difference in my skin, much less oiler than usual. I love that this is for sensitive skin and there is absolutely no fragrance. My only complaint is the pump leaks and on really dry winter days, I sometimes need a little bit heavier moisturizer on some areas.

This is $6 at Target. I love it! I use primers just because I need a tad bit of moisture for my oily/combo skin, and regular moisturizers are too much. I saw this at Target and figured $6 couldn't go to waste on this... all I needed was moisture, not something super fancy.

I don't really know about the oil control part of this, it definitely doesn't make me more oily and it certainly has a matte finish. I think the oil control is very subtle.

Update: I tried this with my Palladio powder foundation which gives no oil control and turns me into a shine-y mess, and this was awesome! Just had some oil on my nose, which is normal. Pleasantly surprised when I looked at my mirror at the end of the day!

I'm giving this a five, because since I've been using this, I have almost no new breakouts (one). Usually I have three or four on my face, and these past few days I've been almost completely clear. This is the only new product on my face.

It's quickly becoming one of my HGs.

I picked up this "lotion" on a whim because I've heard good things about Boots. When I first opened it up, the bottle was upside-down, and the watery consistency threw me off. The instruction booklet said there's a powder that settles to the bottom, so you have to shake it up before using it. I put two drops on the back of my hand and use my fingers to apply. Before I started using this, I'd get oily a few hours after applying my powder foundation; when I use this before powder, I get as oily in about five or six hours. Those results are good enough for me! This product has worked better than the mattifying gels I've tried. As long as this keeps working, I'll keep repurchasing!

I haven't really used any other moisturizers specially designed for oily skin, so I can't speak to how this product compares. I can, however, say that this product, along with the other products in the Boots line for oily skin, has dramatically improved the tone and clarity of my skin over the past week. This product doesn't leave me looking matte for long, but it does make my skin glow, feel soft, and not break out. Along with the matte lotion and the oil absorbing sheets, this line keeps my skin looking beautiful all day.

My skin is really oily and this product helps. It smells kind of weird, but it makes my skin really soft a smooth. About two hours after putting it on, my face got a little bit oily, but not as much as it normally would. Maybe like half less oily than it usually would. For its price, it's a pretty descent product.

I really did not like this lotion. It never did what it professed to do, and its moisturizing abilities were minimal. I would put it on after washing my face and before putting on make up, and after a couple hours, my face was oily again. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I have combination skin, so my t-zone tends to get pretty oily and shiny when the weather is warm. I bought this in Target for $5.99 + tax. The product is an okay moisturizer, price is also very reasonable, but I am not sure about its shine-control ability... It has a slightly runny, gel-like consistency, but it leaves a sticky film on my skin. I find it hard to sink-in, and within 15 minutes after applying the lotion, my t-zone was shiny again. I also had to use pressed powder to reduce the sticky feeling on my face. Doesn't work for me and ended up returning it.

I really love this product. At first, i was sketchy about it because I've never heard of the brand. But I took a chance, & it actually does what it promise to do. I just applied the lotion all over my face, & it was instantly matte. It does not take long to soak in. My skin did not appear totally matte, but it was not dewey. It was kind of in the middle of the two, & I love it! It did not break me out, at first my skin got a little irritated but after a few minutes my skin got used to it. I do not have extremely oily skin, but it gets oily pretty quickly when I'm in the sun. This moisturizer is my reduce the amount of oil & time it took to appear!
