Covergirl's Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush comes from a collaborative line of products with one of my favorite skincare brands, Olay. This cream blush contains a swirling of Olay's Regenerist Serum with SPF 22. Covergirl says that their Sculpting Blushes will give "creamy color that defines cheekbones and stays suspended over fine lines and wrinkles for flatteringly flawless coverage. The Olay Regenerist Serum inside is fused with vitamins, skin conditioners, and anti-oxidants that actually help improve skin texture to give you an instantly healthy looking, youthful glow." Covergirl offers four shades of Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush, I have Plush Peach. I was sent this product by Free Beauty Events in exchange for promoting their website and monthly giveaways. This product is one the higher end of the drugstore price range, selling for between $10-13, which in my personal opinion, is far too expensive for any Covergirl product. I'm a straight up hater when it comes to Covergirl products, except for their mascaras though. The high price might be justified though, you get a good amount of product; 12 g (.4oz). This blush was made in the USA. Unfortunately, Covergirl does test on animals.
I find the packaging for Covergirl's Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush kinda awkward, like they didn't think it all the way through during the design process. The packaging is pretty large and excessive. What I assumed was the lid, actually has the product inside of it. The screw off lid features a label with the same color and design as the product inside, the Olay and Covergirl logos, and the product and shade names. The bottom of the packaging is very bulky, made of purple plastic. This part of the packaging flips open to reveal a round sponge applicator, which I don't even understand. Sponge applicators aren't really the best choice fro thick, creamy blushes like this one. There's a peel up label on the bottom of the compact, offering a full ingredient list and directions. I just don't get the packaging. It's ugly, bulky, poorly thought out, and the inclusion of a sponge is setting up some users for failure. What were you thinking, Covergirl?
Covergirl&Olay's Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush looks pretty cool in the pack, or at least it used to be before I used it. The dark peachy blush contains two white swirls of Olay serum. The edges of the serum swirls are kinda blurred from use in my pan though. Also, at one point this cream blush dried out and cracked in some weird pattern, however, wiping the top off helped it return to it's original smooth state. The texture of Covergirl's Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush is really great! It's so creamy and rich and it blends beautifully. I tend to apply this blusher with my fingers, but I recently started using my Real Techniques Stippling Brush, and much prefer the results that way. I can't really vouch for how well this product stays "suspended over lines and wrinkles", and I highly double that it has any real anti-aging benefits, but I gotta admit, it does seem to minimize the looks of my semi-prominent cheek pores! This blush wears so well too! I can get 9+ hours of wear, even on my sweatiest days at work! Covergirl's Sculpting Blush can actually be really difficult for me to remove, even after I wash my face, so of it is still just hanging in there. Great formula. The color? So ugly, so unflattering, so pigmented. Plush Peach is a very warm, ruddy, peach. I'd barely call this shade peach, it's almost rusty in color, it looks like a peach blush that oxidized into the wrong color. Maybe this shade would look good on a warmer skin tone, but on my fair, rosy skin, a blush this color makes me look ill. I feel like that's a major flaw in the Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush is that all four available shades are very strong in color, so they aren't well suited for those of us on the fairer side. I also don't think it was a good idea on Covergirl's part, since this line is geared toward older women. I'd like to see an expanded color selection.
Covergirl&Olay's Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush has a lot of pros and cons. The formula is great, super creamy, super pigmented, super blendable, super long wearing, overall super! But the packaging and this shade, Plush Peach, are so bad. I'll never be able to truly enjoy this excellent cream blush because the color doesn't suit me at all. Also, I encourage you to toss out the included sponge, or use it for something else, or else you'll have awful, awful results with this blush. I would consider checking out a different shade of this blush if the range gets expanded, but I doubt I will because it doesn't seem like a very popular product. While I still think that the Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush is ridiculously expensive for a Covergirl product, but the quality is there, so I guess it's worth the price, plus it's comparable in price to other drugstore cream blushes. I recommend this surprisingly good cream blush if any of the shades speak to you, just remember your coupons.

This is the first cream blush I have ever used. I bought it in the peach color, it looks nice and lasts a long time. My only complaint about this is sometimes it looks splotchy on my cheeks, like I took a sponge and dabbed it on. I believe this is due to having dried build up on my makeup brush. If I clean my makeup brush once a week, it applys better, stays on a lot longer, and doesn't get the splotchy look.

This blush is leaving me a little at a loss. On the one hand, I do like it when it's on - it gives a great, and very natural looking little flush. On the other - the price is high for what it is, and the actually getting it on is annoying. Using the sponge they provide leaves you with crazy clown cheeks unless you just dab it on - which I do. Now. haha.
I think maybe I'm just not a big fan of the cream blush thing. Plus there is waaaaaaaay too much of it. I don't think I could use this whole thing up in five years. And it's already starting to dry out. And it's way too expensive for what it gives you. Would not repurchase, even though it can look cute when on correctly.

EDIT: This blush is crap and I hate it. It dried out in no time, went all crumbly and gross, and applied like crap. No time at all. Overpriced and terrible, will never repurchase.

I bought the 230 and love the color.

It took me a while to understand how to apply it. Brushes picked up too little/too much, I don't care for sponges. What I finally came up with is to swipe on a bit onto my fingertips, dot the color in the areas I want it and blend it with a soft, dense brush.

It lasts well and doesn't seem to transfer as much as powder blushes.

I vacillated about purchasing this for a few weeks because I couldn't justify spending more than $10 on blush, but I really wanted a nice cream blush to go with the bb cream I have been using instead of powder. I finally purchased this today in Lush Berry. It appears to be really dark in the package but blends on my skin to a beautiful, translucent flush of pink. It blends perfectly with my bb cream and once I set it with powder doesn't smudge. Also, there is a lot of product in the canister so I anticipate that this will last a very long time. That makes it worth the money to me. Lush Berry is a cool shade suited perfectly to cool/fair skin tones.

My only complaint is that the package unscrews rather than flipping open, while the sponge applicator rests in the bottom that screws off. I think it would have been much nicer had they designed it to flip open.

Overall, though, I am happy with this purchase and will definitely buy again when I run out, which doesn't seem like it will be for quite a while!

I bought this in Rich Cinnamon and I like it. It blends easily and gives me a nice glow. I love that it has no shimmer and looks nice and natural, but I think it's a little expensive.

My best experience with drugstore cream blush, to date. I purchased Lush Berry and it gives a beautiful pop of color. I absolutely love it, looks fresh and pretty on my skin.

I just purchased this blush two days ago so I may have to update this review in a week of so...but here are my initial thoughts...

1st, purchased the blush in 230, which is the rose/berry colored one, I think its the darkest one in the collection. I have dark skin (Clinique Even Better Foundation shade "Amber", Illamasqua SB15, MAC NC50/MW43ish). This color looks really good o my darker skin, its a nice flush that blends into the skin very naturally and looks very subtle (however this product is very buildable). I have pretty oily skin, so I have no issue that this product dries to a powder finish...if I want it more "dewy" I dab a tiny bit of vaseline or castor oil on my cheeks. It stays nicely all day on my skin (and i do not use primers in general)...and it blends nicely with other makeup (i usually apply a little bronzer prior to putting on blush).

I love that you get a ton of product, when like something i tend to use it very regularly for a period of time and I like that i wont have to be scared I will run out of it quickly). I also actually like the packaging, its a bit bulky considering ill prob never use that little puff thing it comes...but i like that the twist off cap seals tightly, hopefully that keeps it from drying out too quickly. With that said...im sure it wont last as long (in the container) as my other blushes (powder) so I will make sure I keep this in heavy rotation, so i can use it all before it dries out. Its def neutral enough to wear everyday, and buildable enough to make a statement at night if needed. Also....also its pigmented it doesnt sit on the skin, it adds color without adding additional texture and I think thats what i like most about this product and also one of the main reasons i am switching from powder blushes to creams.

overall...Yes I would purchase this again, its not my HG bc I dont really have an HG blush, I switch it up too much, but it will def be used time and time again for a VERY long time...if that changes i will update this review. I love the way it looks on my skin, and I know its sometimes hard to find a nice drug store blush that doesnt look chalky on darker tones....oh and as far as price...$10 for the amount of product you get is fine in my opinion...

UPDATE: Def best applied with a stippling brush....I tried my regular blush brush and it left little black hairs in it, I also kinda didnt like the finish...a stippling brush just makes it look natural...I have the ELF one and the Studio Tools (dark see thru handle) and it applies great...i like those the best bc they have a smaller head...great for the cheek area...also...if its too pink (one day i decided that it was) and it blends very well with my covergirl loose bronzer (the one in the huge container that doesnt really shut...had the packaging, LOVE the product)...so yea...like the blush :)

I really like this blush. I have it in 230, which is a deep berry color and it works well with my super pale skin. I stipple it on the apples of my cheeks with the large sonia kashuk skunk brush and its really pretty. YOu have to be careful as its super pigmented. I took a lippie off due to the price and the package but I would certainly repurchase

I have liked all the Simply Ageless products I've tried and the blush is no exception. I purchased Lush Berry and have found that a very small amount is plenty to dab on both cheeks and blend. It's so pigmented, in fact, that I think this container is a lifetime supply, honestly. I'd rather have a smaller amount for half the price, but that's not going to happen. It blends pretty well, has impressive lasting power (all day without fading) and gives a nice glow.

I got this in the shade 200 (Plush Peach?) for three dollars at a flea market, and now I wish I had bought out the whole stock! I can't attest to the age defying properties, as I don't yet have any aging issues, but this blush blends out flawlessly, and the finish makes it look like I just have great natural coloring. I love that there is no shimmer in it. This wears all day with no fading, and doesn't remove my foundation when I apply it. My only issues are that the packaging is a bit bulky and confusing, and that my cream and blush swirls have started to pull away from each other. It doesn't affect the application at all, it just seems weird.

At first, I liked the way this blush could be applied exactly where you want it, because it's a cream. It comes with a sponge applicator but it looks better when you blend it with your fingers. After using it for a while, the product became lumpy and bumpy in the container - not sure if that's due to air exposure or why it's happening. Also, there are only four shades available, and all are on the warm side. The most cool shade is also the darkest, so it's easy to overapply if you're not careful. I think some cooler pink shades would be appreciated by those of us who don't want orangey cheeks. The container is also huge. It would take a really long time to use all this up, assuming it would be usable till the end, with all those lumps and bumps forming in the product along the way.

I needed help opening this so I dislike the packaging! It took me so long i actually googled how to open the cover girl simply ageless cream blush.
It's really expensive for a drugstore blush i got it on sale for $14.99 which was still expensive but there is a lot of product. The first time I applied it i didn't expect it to be so pigmented i thought it would be sheer so i used my elf powder blush dipped it in several time and swiped it on my face and it was SUPER pigmented! I looked like a clown. I applied foundation on top right away and after that it looked less clown and more "lit from within"
Yes i love the look after i applied foundation! So now whenever I want to use this blush I apply this blush on my bare face first before foundation.

A good product, but not what I was looking for. I hoped this would be a dewy-looking cream blush but it dries to a very, very powdery finish. What's the point? If I wanted a powder, I'd use one. If this is something you like, then this might be a good product.

Other thoughts--
Pros:
lasts pretty long
blends nicely

cons:
expensive for DS product
packaging is a bit weird

I bought the #200 bush. For all the readers' sakes, I should also indicate that I have typical light Asian skin so this particular color really worked for me.

I really love the packaging of this product. It made my makeup bag prettier and not to mention, I love how they separated the blush and the sponge. Unlike some of the reviewers here who broke out because of their use of this, my skin didn't get affected by the product. Also, I really loved the color of the blush on my skin. It's very pigmented and it was very easy for me to blend it.

One problem with this blush is that it cracks a bit after the first week of opening. It doesn't affect its ability to color your cheeks but it did bother me a bit.

This is my first cream blush and it took some time getting used to it.

I have this in Lush Berry, and I love it. I am a blush fanatic. You can check out the pictures in my profile to see just how much I love blush. I have spent a small fortune on blushes because blush makes me happy. I'm very fair (cool-toned PPP), and I love to brighten up my face with a good blush. I love this Cover Girl blush as much as my favorite high end blushes. The texture is lovely. The color is great for me. I don't have a problem with the color fading at all, but my skin is on the dry side. It's fairly pigmented in the pan, but it blends in easily (with fingers or sponge) and gives a glowy look. It feels good on my skin, too, and I never think that about makeup.

I've been really impressed with the whole Simply Agelsss line. As someone noted in her Simply Ageless foundation review, the packaging isn't intuitive. It's almost like it's designed upside down. But once I opened it a few times, I was used to it. I assume it's designed that way so potential purchasers can see the swirls in the cosmetics aisle. And I like how the sponge is in a separate compartment. The packaging is cleaner that way. And it seals tightly to keep the blush (which is hydrating) from drying out. I do not understand the criticism about the packaging not having a mirror. I can understand the need for a mirror in a pressed powder container, but I don't think I've ever used a mirror in a blush compartment. And a lot of my blushes (most of them, in fact) do not include mirrors. This is a fabulous blush, and I will definitely be repurchasing when I finish it, although you get a lot of product in each package so it should last a while. I'm not sure that I'll try the other colors currently available because Lush Berry best suits my coloring. I do wish Cover Girl would come out with even more shades, however, because this blush is definitely a keeper. Cover Girl and Olay are a great combination.

I love this blush!! I have this in Lush Berry. It's not super pigmented which is fine for me because I don't like bright blushes anyways. It stays on all day on me ( I set mine with a powder). I like that it's matte, although I usually prefer my blushes to have some shimmer. I might repurchase again, if I do in a different color. It seems as though the one I have will last me forever.

I have been on a major cream blush kick lately, So I've been trying many brands. I grabbed this the other day while shopping for approx $12 at wal-mart. I got the color Royal plum (#220). I apply this and all cream blushes with a duo fiber brush and it applies the color perfectly with no patchiness and I can apply more color if it seems to sheer. This specific color is an actual plum, but not dark purple more like a plumy-mauve once applied. I was quite surprised that it was still on my cheeks after laying down for a nap with my kids. I plan to go back and grab a few more colors in the next few days. I like the screw on top and it's a pretty nice amount of product but the sponge that comes along is worthless and breeding grounds for serious bacteria. I would NOT repurchase simply because I no longer support brands that test on animals.
