I bought this after reading a review on here comparing this to the benetint. I haven't tried the benetint, so I don't know how this compares to it. I have tried the one from Tony Moly(i think it was apple flavoured) which has a similar colour and i think it was a little bit cheaper than this. I got this for around $8(i think) at pacific mall in Toronto after trying all of the lip tints I could get my hand on(don't bother with holika holika's lip tint! they made my lips kinda numb)

Dislikes:
-not long lasting AT ALL
-only 2 colour choices
-i don't enjoy the taste, it has a hint of cherry, but it just tastes bitter imo like it's full of harmful chemicals or smth.
-it's drying, even after putting lip balm on(which wears off after a while), my lips felt noticeably dryer

Likes:
-it's more moisturizing than tony moly's, but still drying
-good bang for yo buck?(if this is in fact comparable to higher end brands)

and so my venture into the search for my HG lip tint continues....

I LOVE THIS TINT!
I haven't tried Benetint before but SOOO many people have been comparing it to this tint, which makes me love this tint even more considering it's SUPER CHEAP.
I initially bought this product when it was on sale, I think it was because they were going to change the packaging of this product.
I'm not a big fan of the face shop, I prefer innisfree and etude house so I wasn't really expecting much from this tint.
But when I applied it on my lips, it absorbed right away! Almost like dying my lips, it was soo long-lasting.
i have this in #1 Enamel Red.
It's water-resistant and the colour is so pretty..
the only downside is that if you want to use this as a cheek tint, you'll have to use much more compared to using this on your lips, it's not a lot anyways so it probably isn't much of a big deal.
I also really like the scent of this, it's a light sweet, fruity scent.

Overall, 5 LIPPIES!

I wear blush everyday by applying a tint and then lightly setting it with a powder blush. I like makeup to last ALL DAY once applied in the morning and this does just that! Even after riding to and back from work. I use to use Benefit's Benetint however, I find that The Face Shops' tints by comparison are;

– cheaper
– just as long lasting (if not more so)
– easier to blend
– more natural in colour
– subtle enough to be worn on the lips

I have both colours and hope they don't discontinue this line. Maybe I should stock up?

I'm a huuugee fan of face tints because they have GREAT lasting power compared to the conventional powder blushes. I've tried so many face tints and none of them comes close to this, not even Benetint (way too overpriced IMHO). i find myself always coming back to this tint and was so sad when i thought it was discontinued. But then a few months later they changed the packaging and it was back on the shelves again! Bought a few backups just in case :) And the reason i can afford backups was because it is dirt cheap. Got them on a sale for about 3USD.. Best bargain ever. :D

I am in love with this product. I bought this on a whim because I ran out of blush and now I can't live without it. It is very compact and easy to put on your purse for quick touch ups - not that you will be needing it that often, because the staying power of this tint is much better than my benetint. It has a very pleasing faint smell and is very easy to apply. I love using it on my lips because the colour is not that harsh (unlike body shop's tint) which just gives that naturally red lips.

I recently went to korea and picked this up because I had not seen it in my faceshop back home in the states.

I bought both colors and I AM IN LOVE! I am so glad I bought back ups. The colors are beautiful and last longer than benefit and any other brand tints I've tried. It doesn't give you a "you just ate a red popsicle" look and its a great price!!!! :D Would recommend this to anybody. I use it on my lips all the time and gives it a nice flush of color. The packaging is slim so I am able to carry it around everywhere.

If you can get your hands on this, DO IT!

this tint it suits me best than the body shop and benetint..and stays longer, the colour is not really red or orange so it gives the natural red lip

but i think it's not suitable for cheeks,

I'm a big fan of lip & cheek tints so I've got quite a lot in my cosmetic drawer. The Face Shop's Lip & Cheek Tint is the best by far! It's portable and the container doesn't leak which makes it great for traveling. It also has good staying power - which is why I gave it a 5 star rating. Most lip & cheek tints fade easily. This actually leaves a light stain on my lips EVEN after a meal! It's texture is light - no gummy residue - yet it doesn't dry up your lips or skin. An overall wonderful product.
