The color is a highly pigmented blue-undertoned and mid-toned purple. It is not too shiny like many people think, and if it is, you can put mattifying powder over it so it won't be shiny. It looks a little to young-girl, but still wearable if you wear the same color eye shadow maybe. It looks GREAT when you put Penelope over it to darken it a little. The staying power is a 1 out of 5 stars: it wears off way too easily and wipes off too easily. A good lipstick should wipe off but still stain the lips and have a greater staying power. I bought this online at cherryculture.com for $2.50, and I have to say, you get what you pay for. Perhaps the only two good things about it are the great color and the cute little tube it comes in.

I purchased this expecting it to look a little more lavender. Now I'm not so sure what to so with this lipstick since no matter how hard i tried to wear it, I always seem like a freak. Into the trash it goes.

I like the color of this lipstick, but I'm finding it very difficult to wear. When I put it on, I get all of the grayish undertone and none of the lavender/shimmer. It looks really weird on me, but I've seen other people wearing it, and it didn't look weird. I'm trying to find a good lip liner color to put under it to bring out the purple.
As I said, the color of this lipstick is really strange. It's a dark purple with grayish undertones, very heavy grayish undertones. It's pretty, but it will certainly be difficult for a lot of people to wear. I will update this later if I find a good way to wear it or that I cannot wear it at all.

I was expecting a more frosty sheer lavender colour but was pleasantly surprised with this lipstick.
It has an opalescent shimmer to it and is a beautiful medium shade that you could wear day or night.
Goes on creamy with good coverage and looks gorgeous as it catches the light.
This is one of my favourites. Just wish NYX could make the staying power longer.

The lipstick itself isnt bad, just the color. Its a dark purple color instead of the swatch on the site (i thought it'd be like MAC's lavender whip). Its something i can never wear besides halloween.
