Lovely lemon verbena scent and incredibly moisturizing. I don't always have time to use this as an all over body lotion so I usually use this on my hands after most washings. My hands can get SUPER dry from bagging groceries and this took away all my little dry patches within a couple of days. It's around $25 for 8.4 ounces, so it's pretty pricey. However, it's actually worth it considering I'd be spending time trying a bunch of different lotions that don't work and / or smell as nice. Love it!

I love fresh scent and verbena (vervain) smells like lemony floral scent! I use it as a night time lotion and as I sleeps in a air-conditioned room it will really dries out my skin so i use this every night without fail. It is really moisturizing and the solution is a little to the thinner side which is good as it gets absorbed into your skin really fast and does not leave your hands oil which is always a plus!

I love the Verbena Hand Wash, Shampoo and Conditioner but I'm not a fan of this lotion. The smell isn't like the other Verbena products. The cream is moisturizing though. For the price I wanted the Verbena smell. Will not repurchase.

I love love love the smell of this lotion! It sinks into the skin pretty easily when you're applying it. I don't have super dry skin, so I'm not sure how it would perform if you need to majorly rehydrate your skin, but I'm going to guess it's not really meant for that because it's not a very thick lotion. It's really pricey, so I only purchase this if I feel like splurging and getting a little treat.

This has the same issue like the verbena body wash. It smells pretty nice. It absorbs pretty quickly, but it doesn't really moisturize much for those who have dry skin.

This product is okay. The first thing that I consider with body lotions is the scent - the scent is delicious, and I am quite happy to cocoon myself in the scent after I shower and falling asleep with it.
The moisturiser itself can leave me wanting though - the texture of the moisturiser can sometimes sit on my skin, as opposed to sinking into my skin. I find this quite disappointing when I have other lotions that are a bit cheaper and sink in better.
But for the scent - I will finish this bottle quite happily!

Pros:
Silky
Scent
Very hydrating
Cons:
Packaging
Conclusion:
Surprisingly this is a very hydrating body lotion and left my skin feeling very silky and smooth. The scent doesn't overwhelm me and it a great compliment to the Verbena EDT which I currently use with it. Its already starting to get colder and I don't find I'm overly dry. When it comes to the package I would have prefered a squeeze tube or pump. The hard plastic bottle isn't totally inconvenient but I've dropped it once and the cap broke off yet I would definitely buy it again!

This lotion is as good as all L'Occitane lotions: I love their texture and their moisturizing action, they are rich enough without being oily. Yet, the fragrance in this lotion is very weak, compared to the Verbena fragrance that I really love in the summer, so the lotion doesn't struck me. I prefer the cooling gel instead.

This is my favorite scent from L'Occitane. Verbena is different from lemon, but that's what it basically smells like. It is perfect for bedtime, because the scent is light and not overpowering at all. It is very delicate and natural. That's why it is so perfect for work, a professional environment, etc. If you live somewhere hot, I recommend the Verbena Ice Gel as well. It is cooling when you put it on your skin and moisturizes as well. By the way, it makes a great gift for people living outside of the US. L'Occitane is markedup 130% in some places outside the US.

L'Occitane products come in the loveliest, apothecary-inspired packaging, but are vastly overpriced. This lotion is perfectly nice (light, creamy, lemon-scented) but isn't a superior moisturizer, or leaves fragrance better on my skin, than the C.O. Bigelow Lemon cream or anything cheaper (the L'Occitane Verbena EDT is a lot stronger and has surprisingly good lasting power for an EDT. I'd recommend that over this if you're looking for a good lemon verbena item from this line). I have a cute little sample bottle of this, but would not purchase a full-sized version.

Although I love the smell of verbena and other verbena products of L'Occitane, I don't like this body lotion at all. Verbena line is supposed to have a refreshing feeling, their body gel is pretty good though. There must be some shea butter added, I know it's good for moisturizing, but verbena line should not be as rich as shea butter. If you really want something moisturizing, buy shea butter then, not verbena. The smell is ok, but I can't stand the rich texture. Also for the packaging, I can never get the last many drops out, so hard to squeeze the hard plastic bottle.

A nice everyday lotion that truly replicates lemon verbena. I know, because I have a plant. The scent does not last on me, and is not overly moisturizing, but decent. For the price, I would rather buy their Olive Lotion which is more effective in terms of moisturizatin, or something from Crabtree and Evelyn, which seems to have more staying power.

I like the feel of this lotion on my skin. It makes my hands so very soft. I adore the lemon verbena scent; so fresh and inviting. Contains shea butter, glycerin, grape seed oil and dimethicone. The only reason I won't repurchase is because it contains paraben preservatives.

Received this as a bathroom amenity during a recent stay at a hotel. Never tried L'Occitane products before, but this and a few other toiletries I got as freebies has made me a convert. Unlike others on this board, I'm not that crazy about the lotion scent (it seems to have a plasticky note to it) but what I am impressed with is how SOFT it makes my skin! It's really, really effective. I plan on running out and buying the full size (and trying other L'Occitane products) at the next opportunity. Never had a lotion make my skin feel this good.

The beautiful, lingering, never harsh scent of this just brings me back over and over. I love the feeling of it, the bottle, and the moisturizing capability, but really, for the price I could buy 2 bottles of moisturizer that worked just as nicely. The hook is that amazing verbena scent - not too citrusy, but enough so to remind me of hours spent out in my parent's lemon grove in Southern California as a child. I should really just invest in the EDP and get it over with, but I am afraid I would just keep coming back to this lotion regardless :)

Love this moisturizer, makes your skin very soft and the smell....!!!! Heavenly... The fragance will linger till teh afternoon, sadly not all day.
The bottle is cute, but it is not very easy to pour; I only have used 1/3 and I already have problems getting the stuff out. A pump would be better, so I deducted 1 lippie because of this.

What a wonderful body lotion. The light citrus scent is beautiful, and the lotion sinks in quickly and leaves my skin soft. The bottle is cute, too. A nice way to treat yourself.

I always use the tester of this whenever I pass by a L'occitane. I adore the sweet, lemony-airy-fresh scent, however it has almost NO staying power and thus I can not see wasting money on it. I really like L'occitane's products and packaging - but usually I do alot of browsing and not much buying.

It is ridiculous how expensive this is, but OH how I love the scent! The lotion is nice, light, not greasy, whatever, who cares, it's all about the smell. It is lemon, as others have pointed out, but it's not straight-up lemon. It smells like spring. It smells like sunshine. It smells like hope.
I also bought the shower gel and I love it too--I will copy and paste this review under the shower gel heading, so if you've read this one, you've read them both. :)

A great lotion. I especially love the scent. Smells so refreshing while still in the bottle, and linger nicely after applied on the skin. Leave skin well moisturized. A definite repurchase.
