This is my favorite BB shadow! It's a dark brown plummy taupe with very little shimmer. I've been wearing it nonstop for the last 2 months with MAC's naked lunch all over the lid, Satin Taupe on the crease and BB After Hours to darken up the crease and on my waterline. My go to look and I'm lovin it!

I tried for the last time today to get this shadow to work for me. Alas, it an undeniably ugly shade paired with my hazel green eyes, dark hair, and porcelain skin. The color is absolutely nothing like the picture of it on Bobbi Brown's site, which shows it as a very blue purple. In reality the color is a blah raisin with brown undertones. I do admit that the texture and pigmentation of this shadow are excellent, but they don't make up for how utterly awful this color is on me. Very disappointed with this shadow. Given my past experience with Bobbi Brown's metallic shadows I expected this to be very nice, but it wasn't nice at all.

I love this shadow. It is a very dark plummy brown taupe, not too frosty. It's great for a crease color, and NYX Frosted Flake and this has become a favorite combo of mine. I got mine on Ebay for $9.99 but it's definitely worth the full price. Try it!

After Hours is described on the Bobbi Brown website as "deep chocolate mauve." The photo on the website looks like a dark purple, but that isn't accurate. I found it to be a beautiful mid- to dark toned mauve with lots of brown mixed in. It isn't nearly as dark as a lot of shadows, but it is deeper than many mid-tones. I actually found it to have more brown that purple in it, and I just love it. It is part of the metallic collection, but I didn't find it any frostier than the shimmerwash. It has some depth to it, but it is far from overpowering. I think it's absolutely gorgeous. Thank you, Bobbi, for yet another fabulous product. Edited to add: I have found that After Hours blends particularly nicely with mid-toned matte shades like Grey or mid-tone long wear creams like Orchid. Use a matte such as Flesh for the base and then touch After Hours on the outer lid and in the crease. It adds just enough shimmer.
