Finding it works better than Tendskin, costs much much less too. The only lippie i took off was for the flip-cap top as the liquid congeals around this area and makes a mess but then im not sure how else they could bottled it!

Using this i havent had any in-grown bumps at all on my arms. After 4 years of using tendskin i am surprised i have just discovered this and after 1 month of use now i can say its definately worth it. Plus as you spread it over your skin like a body lotion it is quicker then using cotton and tendskin which used to take me forevor.

X Warning: dont pour into palm and use the other hand to dab and apply as the hand you have poured into; the skin will begin to peel within days!! Pour staright onto skin instead and use hands to spread as per the instructions.

So, I've had this MUA account for about 6 months - what product could possibly be so awesome that I'm finally writing my first review? Bump Patrol is amazing! Let's face it...some of us are a little more hairy than usual. Unfortunately, I've had heavy-enough-to-call-it-a-beard hairs sprouting from my chin for about 12 years now. Shaving every morning has been the most convenient solution for me, but it's a sensitive area so I do suffer from razor burn and irritation. It fell into the category of things that bother me, but not enough to do something about them.

I was browsing CVS and decided to give Bump Patrol a try when I noticed on the packaging that they offer refunds to dissatisfied customers. Needless to say, I will not be asking for my money back and I will gladly drop $11 on another bottle when this one runs dry. I just shaved as usual and smoothed a small amount on afterwards. It's a runny, slightly sticky gel with a bit of menthol scent and *boy* does it sting (but only for about a second).

I've been using Bump Patrol for 3 days now and have seen a marked improvement in redness - nothing new and some old marks are fading. The area is also significantly less irritated. Before Bump Patrol, my chin was a bit sensitive to touch and now I feel no irritation at all.

Bottom line? This product is beyond fabulous and I feel like a complete moron for going so long without it. Go buy some now (look in the men's shaving section of any drugstore).

This is a men's after-shaving product, but if you are prone to ingrown hairs ANYWHERE after shaving, waxing, or epilating, this product can't be beat. I use it on my bikini line and lower legs, which are prone to irritation and ingrowns. It is so much better than the far more expensive Tend Skin, which was liquidy and runny and never seemed to do much for me. Bump Patrol has a regular formula alcohol-based version, and a sensitive skin version that does not contain alcohol or sting. I like both products, but for times when my skin is feeling a bit irritated the sensitive formula is definitely the way to go. Irritation and redness disappears, and with regular use you can kiss your ingrowns goodbye. 2 oz goes for about $8.00.
