After I found Dove clinical strength I was hooked! Most deodorants would dry my skin out or make my skin hurt/itch. But Dove products are gentle on my skin & I don't have any issues with this line. It keeps my under arms fresh and it truly is clinical strength. The best thing about Visibly Smooth is that it actually works. It keeps my pits dry, improved the health of my skin & really minimize the appearance of hair. I'm a in Love with Dove & would never think of switching!

While I'm a fan of the Clinical Protection line itself, I don't have a lot of positive things to say about the Visibly Smooth deodorant. Although it claims to minimize the appearance of hair over time, I feel as though my armpits are as prickly as ever in between shaves. The other downside is the scent- awful! Sadly, this deodorant is not cheap, so I refuse to throw it out until it's all used up. I'm never buying this one again.

So to get to the point ... I love this deodorant because it actually does what is advertises & it smells good! It truly is clinical strength-- keeps me dry all day! I haven't had the issue of wet patches in years since I started using Dove's clinical strength line. I recently switched to visibly smooth because my hairs are really dark. But this really does minimize the look of the hairs. I have very sensitive skin and shaving too often irritates the skin, but this helps me cut back on that. And with that, the other plus is ... I used to have dark patched on my underarms because of too much shaving. But after using this for about 2 months now they've dissipated and my skin is visibly smooth in more ways than one. This deodorant is great!

I like this a lot. I have bought at least 5 of these, which says a lot because I dont think I have ever bought the same deoderant twice. Also it is more expensive than other deoderants but it is the best I have used at keeping sweat and odor away. It feels really nice and creamy going on, and dries right away, which I really like (I hate gel deoderants). I have had zero irritation using this, and in fact it seems to moisturize well. Im not sure about the hair removal thing, but it does make it softer and seems as though it doesnt grow back as fast. I strayed once and bought a different kind but I dont think I will be doing that again. The one thing that is kind of annoying is that sometimes I will open it and a whole bunch of the cream will be pushed out of the holes, even though I never touched it. It doesnt really go back in, so I just have to wipe it off but its kind of a waste. Also, it will sometimes leave like a greasy residue underneath where it sits which is really odd...But I will definitely keep buying.

WORST WORST WORST deodorant EVER!
I am not a smelly person, and i don't sweat all that much.
this was on sale and i had a coupon so i went ahead and bought it.
This stuff is AWFUL!
It literally makes me stink!

Im actually very surprised about the negative reviews on this product. I really really like it! I was tired of having white residue when i used deodorants even the ones that said little black dress approved still never worked. I had never tried a non bar deodorant before and thought i would check this one out because it also said it helps to easily remove the hair underneath. Which it did! and it also never left white residue that i hate! Im not a sweater but when i go for a workout the clinical protection protected me great. I will say i am not nuts about the smell and it would be great to get a variety but its ok enough that im still using this! I guess its personal preference but i do highly recommend that anyone should try this product! They might like the way it keeps you dry and no residue. This product id say for me is little black dress approved.

This is the worst deodorant I've ever used. Even the packaging sucks. When you turn the little knob thing, deodorant only comes through part of the holes, which is annoying. The scent isn't that great... and it doesn't really mask any body odour at all, or reduce perspiration. I would never buy this again. If I remember correctly, it was pretty expensive too!

this is THE worst antiperspirant ive ever used in my life. imagine everything that could go wrong with an antiperspirant including the packaging. i knew the "visibly smooth" claim was too good to be true,. ive never had more ingrowns and cysts in my life! i would rather go deodorant less than wear this cr*p!!!

this was on sale, so i thought i'd give it a try. i like using antiperspirants at night so i don't get stains on my clothes. the product kept me dry during the day, so that part of it is fine.

however, i prefer unscented, but there wasn't any on the shelf so i purchased the original clean scent. that's why i won't use this again ... the smell is SO overpowering and fake.

I think I'm the odd one out but I really don't like this.
I am not a sweaty person so I don't need the clinical strength protection. I purchased this because I saw it had better reviews about the stubble protection than the none clinical one, and I read that using a clinical strength anti-pers can prevent yellow stains on white shirts.

The more I use this the more the scent grosses me out. I find it strong and fake. It doesn't fade at all either.
I found this did nothing for hair. I didn't have especially coarse hair but this didn't slow regrowth or make it softer, I still have to shave as often as I did.
This was an average antiperspirant. I found some regular strength ones worked better than this.
I gave this a three because it didn't stain my shirts. I wear a lot of white so that is important to me. I have used other antiperspirants that do not stain my shirts (Secret with Olay) but I have to apply that a while before I get dressed which I forget sometimes. This is easier.

This just didn't seem to work for me. It wasn't a waste of money and may work for others but I will not repurchase.

I have used this deodorant for at least a year and love it. It truly works and prevents sweating. I am not really a heavy sweater but (and I don't mean this to be TMI) but my periods/pms has changed since my early 30's and sweating with chills/hot flashes has become a real problem. Dove works great and prevents sweating during this time for me. I have tried other clinical strength brands and none work as well as this. I highly recommend it.

I love, love, love this deoderant! I spent a HOT week in Jamaica and the only part of me that was not sweaty was my underarms. I don't have a problem with sweat, but this is a great deoderant to use on those extra hot summer days. I also used it to my friend's wedding and had no problem with getting "white stuff" on my dress. It has a nice clean smell and applies smooth. I think it may help after repeated use with stubble.

Overall, I would (and have bought) this again!

The only downfall is the price. Pretty expensive, but for me it is worth it for those special events. I probably will not need this in winter, but will buy again next summer for sure. I liked this better than the Original Clean version. Although, I like the smell of the Origian Clean better, the protection did not feel as good.

Overall, this is a pretty descent deodorant that definitely comes through with it's promises.

PROS: (1) great smell, I bought it in 'Wild Rose' it has a nice creamy clean rose scent that is very feminine. (2) feels creamy when applied- leaving skin feeling soft and smooth as it penetrates. (3) definitely helped with stubble!! I have coarse dark hair- waxing is very painful, and shaving is useless because when I do shave you can still see the dark hair under my skin. Hardly 24 hours after shaving and I already have stubble. But this let me get away with up to 3 days of no shaving- for me this is great!


CONS: (1) average protection against sweating. If the weather was humid, or if I was at the gym- I would still be rather sweaty and I could smell my own sweat over the rosy scent of the deodorant. (2) If you miss even 1 night using this- you will notice almost immediate regrowth.


Overall, not too shabby- I certainly intend to rely on this during the Spring and Summer months when I need it most.

This deodorant was a letdown to be honest. The claim was that you would have dry underarms and your armpit hair would be easier to remove. Did it come through? not really. I found that my underarms were fairly dry, but sometimes you could smell the sweat. I found that it didn't really make a difference when it came to removing hair either. my biggest complaint was the packaging. when you twist the deodorant up, a lot of product seeps through a gap in the package, so the product goes into the hollow part, and it runs out quickly. i would not recommend this deodorant.

OMG I HATE YOU! My review is a total flame, because I am outraged by what it did to my skin. I got red rashy bumps and massive irritation that caused my skin to peel! I have no idea what happened here, I was using Degree and Secret Clinical just fine and wanted to give this a try. I even sent them an e-mail asking them if there is any ingredient in it that would care my skin to react this way. I'm going back to Degree and Secret and will return this to walmart ASAP! I've only used it twice and really wanted to love it. The smell is very nice!

So beware guys! Stop using it if you notice the same symptoms as I did.

So im no stranger to clinical deoderants n of all the ones i tried, i do have to say this one is the best. HOWEVER, i redalized a few things.
PROS: smells great, doesn't leave white stains on clothes, helps a bit in slowing down under arm hair growth and also great if u have sensitive skin(both my sister and friend have experienced outbreaks wen using deoderants but both have said this deoderant actually catered to their sensitivity issues)
CONS: takes a while to dry, after two hours the sent is gone, pretty pricey for a deoderant, not much product for your dollar and not the best deoderant to use if u sweat excessivley.
A few ppl have said its the best product theyve used but again it deends on wat ur deoderant needs are. I personally wouldnt buy it again

I love this! I put it on at night and I don't sweat throughout the night or day. Your clothes don't ever get that "funk" when you use this. A bit expensive though.

I love this antiperspirant!
I don't have a sweating problem, I use it more for prevention. I don't like to layer on antiperspirant so when I apply it at night and don't shower the next morning, sometimes I even go without another application and am fine all day! I don't always use it at night, sometimes I put it on in the morning instead and haven't noticed it staining my tshirts or anything.
I love the scent, it's very clean and my husband even commented that I smelled "delicious" :)
It is sort of expensive but I think that's because it's clinical strength and all the other brands seem to be close to the same price. However I can regularly find coupons so it's not too big of a deal. Plus, it's awesome and I would buy it anyway!

It's rather expensive, but I find coupons for the clinical deodorant quite a bit, so that helps. It does seem to help very well with sweat. I don't really like how long it takes to dry after I apply it though (I put it on before going to sleep, but it still kinda bothers me). Also, it seems to run out kinda quickly. Those are my only issues with it.

I've only been using this a couple days. I like it. I don't think it works as good as my certain dri. BUT i will use both. I love the wild rose scent and it does moisturize very well especially after just using certain dri my pits can be a bit dry.
I bought this cus honestly I wanted to try the reducing visibility of the hair.
Of course since i just started using it that hasn't started taking effect yet.
I would love to use this exclusively but since i have had super bad luck with secrets clinical protection when i've strayed from certain dri I am very worried about doing that. The last thing i need is to only use this and since it's summer be out and be sweating thru my clothes.

My family seems to have sweating issues most of us girls (my cousins and i) have compared notes and we all sweat even when we are freezing or not even hot sweat can be pouring from our underarms.
I will have to update in a week or so on how the hair under my arms is looking.
I would buy it again just for the moisturizing and scent alone.
