I love this stick! The color payoff is awesome, it lasts a long time, it's not too sticky, and it does leave a tint on my lips when it comes off. I wear this one a lot even though I've never ventured into dark lip colors before. Because of this I have a new love for a darker mouth. I don't like the packaging however, I love the tube and everything but you can't twist it down at all which is stupid! Especially being that this is what like 15$?? So that's pretty much my only gripe. I can't wait to try other colors!

wow! there was a promo during friends and family for this for FREE! and at first i didnt relaly care much for it but when i got it and tried it on, its relally nice! it has that weird organic taste that a lot of organic lip products have like a minty smell but tastes lik cardboard but it makes ur lips very moist and hydrated without feeling slippery and its pretty pigmented for a balm! pretty neutral reddish peachish brown color. i wud buy again and otehr colors if there are more

I use this during the week when I don't want to wear lipstick. The color is not as reddish brown as I thought it would be but it is very simple to use and it brightens my face. My only issue with the lippie is that it is not as sheer as listed and you do need a mirror or end up with color around the mouth.

I bought this off of Tarte's web site thinking it was the advertised red-brown lip sheer....Yeah not so much. Perhaps they changed the formula recently. First off I lucked out and really like this product and color however this is not a glossy lip sheer like I have ever used in the past nor is the color reddish brown by any stretch. It is a tinted lip balm and the color is a peachy nude with a hint of a brown base. In fact it is just a shade (if that) darker than Champagne Brunch on my lips. Both of them wear as a perfect Nude shade for me. These are very comfortable ,long lasting and moisturizing. In fact I may have found not 1 but 2 HG nude lippies for 40% off. I must be dreaming...The only cons I have besides the piss poor product description on Tarte's web site would be packaging. The packaging is attractive but only twists up one way and I am clipping the edges of the product on the cap when I put it back on because the edges of the balm are not tapered. A petty gripe perhaps that will resolve itself with use but it still got on my nerves this morning. At the price they charge it should be well designed. If a drug store brand can get it right for $2 a high end brand should be able to do it for $14 reg. price. I will only restock with a coupon or during a sale but I will definitely repurchase. The natural ingredients, color, lasting power and feel are worth a splurge but I thought the $9 and change I paid was high at %40 off. Tarte you are killin meh

Overall, I enjoy this product (24/7 lip sheer); however, this color ended up way too dark for my skin color and was a complete mismatch. When I tested it in the store, the color appeared sheerer on my skin, but because my lips are already tinted a bit red, the reddish color is much more prominent when I use it on my lips. Don't get me wrong, it's a great lip moisturizer and a step up (fashion-wise) than chapstick, but it's just not my color. I plan on returning it and buying Summer Fling instead; fingers crossed that this color suits me. The only other thing that bothered me was the packaging. I purchased it at Sephora, and though it's new, the casing was a bit scratched. It kind of looks used that way, but I think the casing is just easily scratchable.

This is my favorite out of the Tarte 24/7 lipsheers--it's the perfect pinky-brown for my olive skin. It goes on creamy (definitely the creamiest one I own, which is odd, but I think some of them are less creamy than others) and lasts quite a while. It has a nice minty sensation when applied and it doesn't leave behind any weird aftertaste if you lick your lips while it's on. My only complaint is that it doesn't 'twirl' back down in the container when you try to twist it back into the tube in reverse after applying it, but i usually only twist a little bit up at a time, so it's a small complaint for an otherwise great product.

First of all, I really like the product itself. The colour I have (Wednesday) is a nice YLBB colour - excellent for those days when I don't feel like wearing any other makeup. That said, the packaging really sucks, like others here have noted. The tube was all scratched up and worn-looking right out of the box. The cap is a bit loose. The stick won't go down once it's been twisted up. I think, even though it's marketed as a balm, that a traditional lipstick shape would work better for this product - it's got a reasonable amount of colour, and it's tricky to apply with the blunt end.

At first I didn't like it.. I thought it was too brownish against my very pale skin, but the more I use it the more I like it. As of late it's become my daily lip color. If you apply just a bit -- it looks very natural. I don't wear face make-up so my lip color has to be natural. Just a tiny amount of this looks great. My lips don't look glossy just hydrated with a hint of color... good stuff.

I love this product! It's so moisturizing.... and the color is a lovely dark peach, on my lips. (FYI: I'm a MMM/light CCC - Stila oil-free in shade G... or a mix of Alima's W4/W5.) It makes my lips look moist but not overly glossy. It's perfect for that no-makeup-look.
The only con is the packaging. I hate the cheap looking tube and the cap doesn't always stay on. I'm currently using a little "chinese" lipcase, when I carry one of these Tarte Lip Sheers in my purse. I'm thinking about re-packaging into a small jar though.

I tried this product in monday first and hated it. it was too bold when what i wanted was something sheer, like chap stick, but left color. wendesday is my HG. The texture if very nice, but what i love most is the color. i've never liked lipstick because i thought it looked too obvious (at least on me), it didn't have a good feel, and it usually just came off quickly anyways. i cannot stress enough how much i DON'T LIKE lipstick. i was searching and searching for something that was "in between" and this is it. It's not drying at all, but not exactly super moisturizing if your lips tend to be extremely dry. the color is a warm slightly brown red. and it's SO natural! MLBB. it just brightens up my entire face. it gives me lips definition. I love everything about it. no doubt, i will buy this again and again!
p.s. the cap doesn't stay on that great so i keep it in the box it came in.

This is my HG! I know I have said it before, but I actually went and bought a new tube, and I never buy lip products twice! The new mint formula nice and the toned down color is better for my complexion. Its definitely not for everyone but it works for me! I am warm, light/medium toned with blue eyes.

This is a lovely moisturizing balm with a nice bit of sheer color. The gloss itsself isn't particularly long lasting but it leaves a good stain of color on the lips when it wears off. I love the simplicity of this product. I can keep it in my pocket and just swipe it on like a lipbalm. Very nice when you're traveling or out all day and can't touch up.

Wednesday is a nice browned red IMO, possibly with a touch of peach. I'm an NC20 with brown hair and green eyes & I absolutely love this shade. Very healthy and natural against my complection. would 100% buy again.

I'm surprised by the negative reviews! I think this is a great idea. The texture is similar to Clinique Almost lipstick. It's very sheer and I don't find it drying at all. The color is perfect for me, it's a warm peach with a teeny hint of red. It is absolutely a warm color and I could see how people could find it orangey. Overall, it's a nice useful everyday product.

This was not a good color for me - much too orange for my pale/pinky complexion. Stands out like crazy, I feel like a clown when I wear it (which I've stopped doing). Did not seem very sheer - was quite bright on my lips. Also, it seemed very drying and I had to layer my trusty BB Dr.Pepper on top. The packaging is really cute, though, except that, as someone else mentioned, it does tend to scuff and look old quickly. I would not repurchase this color or this brand of lip sheer.

Although I fell in love with this product at Sephora, I am now unimpressed with it, as it is pretty unremarkable. It goes on sheer and does not last very long. The only interesting part of it is the pretty chrome container.

A nice color, but I have several complaints: the price, for one ($16), and the fact that the pretty matte-chromey tube gets scuffed so easily in my purse, making the tube look ratty. However, this is a good product overall, but I'm sure I could get a maybelline lip sheer for a lot cheaper.

This is my perfect neutral lip color. It looks like an orangey red in the tube, but on my lips, it's the perfect cross between pink, peach, and sheer red. I can wear it with anything.
