I absolutely love this product! It smells great, it's moisturizing without being greasy, I use it all over after getting out of the pool (I teach swim lessons) and my skin is finally looking and feeling healthy again. I've tried Eucerine and Aquaphor, but they're greasy and heavy and it seems to take forever for them to soak in. With Palmers Skin Therapy Oil, it soaks in nice and quick, feels light on my skin, and isn't greasy at all!

I also love the fact that after only using for about two weeks (only once or twice a day, not three times like the directions recommend) that some of my stretch marks are disappearing! I only had a few somewhat "fresh" stretch marks. When I first started losing weight at the beginning of the year, they started to fade, but were still there, nice and pink. With Palmers, they've gone from pink to just barely pinker than my skin tone, and are smaller.

Keep in mind, this oil will not help old stretch marks go away. The marks need to still be pinkish for it to help, if they're white the oil won't do anything except make your skin super soft (which is totally okay!)

I also use this on my face after many failed attempts with facial moisturizers. This is the only product that has helped balance out my skin and improve my skin tone, to the point where I feel comfortable not wearing make up. This is a MUST TRY product!

I'm 20, have been using the cocoa-butter scented oil on my face, and have definitely seen an improvement in skin tone and feel. I have pretty dry skin that was previously littered with hyper-pigmentation, acne scars, had a generally dull quality, was slightly flaky and occasionally oily due to my skin trying to make up for its dryness. After two months of using this oil daily, my skin's soft, evened out/brighter, no scars, MUCH less acne-prone, not flaky, not overly oily because it's well moisturised, and though its done nothing for my pores (which it doesn't claim to anyway), my face is otherwise pretty much 'fixed' :)
For the rest of my body I tend to stick with the regular Palmer's body oil, because it seems like such a waste to use the much smaller and specialised therapy oil on non-problem areas when the body oil would have the same effect.
The smell isn't overwhelmingly strong, and is an interesting chocolatey scent (which I don't mind, but I can see how some people might find it unbearable). In any case, though it absorbs within a few minutes, the scent does linger, so if you're worried about the smell, maybe try the rosehip scented version, which is reputedly a lot nicer smelling than the original.
I use about three drops for my whole face -every night after washing my face- and have barely made it through a third of the bottle, so I think it'll last a while. I do agree with previous reviewers that it's not the most ideal packaging (flip-top cap for a bottle of oil),but it personally hasn't been a huge issue; my bottle sits on my vanity so I haven't had any real leakage problems or anything.
A fairly priced product that does what it says.
Will repurchase again, probably. Maybe the rosehip version next time!

I'm not too crazy about the smell. It doesn't smell 'delicious' like chocolate to me at all, instead I find the smell rather wired and too strong. Also my bf doesn't like the smell as well.

I've been using the product on and off for about one month and haven't seen any visible result yet. I don't think I will buy it again. However, if I do see the result I may only use it on the small marked area on my skin to avoid the smell.

I don't like the scent but I love the fact that it lightens my pimple scars. It's not too greasy. I use it every morning after shower and every night before going to bed.

Ok so they updated the packaging of this product and it now has a pump! WONDERFUL.
I bought this on 11/3/2012 and today is 11/9/2012.

Over the summer I started noticing pinkish purple lines (stretch marks) forming on my inner thighs. I was so sad and didn't go swimming all summer because I was embarrassed of the marks and didn't want to bare it all in a swim suit.

When I saw this product - i kinda stumbled upon it while I was looking for sweet almond oil to use on my hair. I think I paid about $9 dollars for it at wal-mart, and thought i'd give it a try because it claims to improve the appearance of: scars, stretch marks, dry damaged skin, uneven skin tone and aging skin. (Which I have all the above.) I have hyper-pigmentation on my face from popping pimples, a few scars here and there, the lines that appeared on my legs, and so on.
For the price I paid ($9) I was not expecting much from this product. I used it 3 times a day for 7 days (since the very first day I bought it.) and I looked down at my inner thighs today while sitting indian style, and WOW - my stretch marks were close to GONE. They were merely just 2 or 3 pink marks, (looked like i had an itch and lightly scratched it.) I also noticed that the scar on my wrist was SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. And only after using this for 7 days. I plan on using up the entire bottle. And to think I listened to people who said "nothing gets rid of stretch marks" and making me think my body was ruined. This stuff gave me my life back!

- and as for the hyper-pigmentation i had on my face - its significantly reduced as well. I have switched from high-coverage foundation to tinted moisturizer. My skin has never looked so good.

Mmmmmmm, Mmmmmm! Smells like yummy chocolate, moisturizes moderately and sinks in by the time you are ready to get dressed (if you don't overdo it). I would say it is a lighter oil, not a thick, sticky or overly greasy one. Perfect for warmer weather and it smells heavenly. Warm, sweet chocolate that stays close to the skin and does not linger for long - once the scent disappears there is no "off" oil smell that I have experienced with some other oils. Great before bed -but it can make you crave marshmallows!

I love this stuff! I use it on my hands after washing. I make sure I wash and then use this stuff each night right before bed and my hands (which sometimes crack due to cold or over washing) are as soft as a baby's skin.

Love this product. I actually mix it with my skin cream....My shea butter...body lotion. Rarely use it straight out of the bottle. Trying to stretch my dollar. My bottle was $11.50 at Wal-greens. A little steep for oil...BUT WORTH IT!

I think an important thing to keep in mind when using this product is that very few things will actually diminish the appearance of scars, stretch marks and wrinkles. If there were, then we'd all have perfect skin!
...
That said, this product does help with maintaining the condition of my skin and keeping my back acne marks from getting too terrible. I've been using this product every night for a couple of months on my back, as well as my regular Palmer's lotion on the rest of my body. At first I was expecting it to make my scars go away within weeks, but I realized that would be impossible. However, I kept using the product out of habit and recently noticed that my scars have toned down just a little.
...
For an affordable product, it certainly doesn't hurt my skin. This has not caused my back to break out more, even though it is an oil. I do still get breakouts, but my overall skin is decently smooth. I use this after I take a shower in the evening. I don't know how it would work on skin that hasn't been just washed. It's also great for adding a little bit of a glow to your legs.
...
Overall, I like that this product is affordable and gentle. It doesn't work miracles, but it has improved my skin's texture and appearance better than the acne products I was using before. For a few dollars, that's not bad at all!

I LOVE THIS and how it feels on the skin. Definitely tones down the color of my scars....hoping that it will all disappear soon however. Not too greasily or oily and moisturizes your skin. The only downside is that it leaks and the bottle will be oily after use. Take note when traveling.

This is a nice oil to use all over your body, it has a thin consistency and a soothing smell, I like the fact that there's vitamin E in it, and the price is affordable.

Edit: After carefully studying the ingredient list and searching online, I don't think I am too impressed with the content of this product.

This product is great. It's a fast absorbing oil which soaks up nicely and leaves my skin soft even the day after. The price is lovely, it feels like one of those 'bargain luxury\ products because it is quite lovely, considering the price. The only problems I find with it is that the packaging leaks sometimes or then Im just such a careless user who's bashed it so many times somewhere, who know! Also the smell can be quite strong to some people, if you have a sensitive nose and don't like products with strong fragrances, then this might not be the product for you, a perfect daily moisturiser! Would purchase this again, I use it daily during evenings after a shower before I go to bed! Great Product!

Love this product, had red scars on my nose and after a month of using this, they are practically gone. It's really moisturizing and I haven't broken out from it at all (I have acne prone skin too), this is definitely one of my faves! plus it smells so nice

I use this on my face most mornings with rosehip oil under my moisturizer. I also combine it with a body moisturizer after each shower and use it all over!

I use a variety of oils, creams, serums, etc. I can't say for sure which one works best over another but I like how this makes my skin feel. You know how nutritionists tell us to eat a variety of foods every day, such as an apple one day and strawberries the next because your body needs variety? I think it makes sense to do the same for our skin. So I use this oil but not everyday (I also use essential oils with jojoba and grape seed oil, Algenist serum, Boots serum, carrot seed oil, and as mentioned, rosehip oil).

I noticed some people here complain it isn't a miracle oil for stretch marks. I just wanted to point out that only a dermatologist can give you fast results and even then fast is sometimes a period of 6 months to a year before you see the improvement you want (depending on severity). That being said, be patient and realize this will help prevent further damage and it will take time to heal.

I am starting highschool this next week, I had a growth spurt and I gained a wooping 30 pounds in half a year so my skin has stretch marks on my inner thighs and hips and calves. I have been using this product for 2 weeks now, I was hoping for a miracle when I read the reviews of satisfied customers, sadly I have seen no improvement were it is needed, it does soften the skin and make it feel better, but the appearance of stretch marks are still there. the colors have not faded as quickly as I wanted them to, and the dents in my skin are still there. If i wanted a lotion to make my skin softer I would've bought one. I am hoping the stretch marks will atleast FADE away in color by next week or I will be very dissapointed. but on the cons it is cheaper than most stretch mark creams/oils so you get what you pay for. it has leaked when I left it sitting down sideways with the cap on tightly. I am not going to lie about this product; it wasn't what I was hoping for but let's see if it will get better! 2 weeks and counting!

I love this smell of this stuff, I smell like a giant chocolate pudding(haha).
It has been scientifically proven that slathering anything on old white stretchmarks will not improve its appearance once it is pass its red/purple stage, thus it did not do anything for my old stretchmarks but on my new ones, it seems to have an effect(again, scientifically proven that massaging new stretchmarks will promote better circulation thus helping the collagen deposits which contributes to less severe stretchmarks) on my red ones. I am not sure whether this is a result of the skin therapy oil or massaging it religiously everyday. ANYTHING to get those pesky marks off. This product absorbs quickly and is mildly hydrating(mind you.. I have very dry and sensitive skin).

For those of you who are considering this for stretch marks--IT WORKS! I have tried all the different Palmer's stretch mark products (the body butter, the lotion, and the oil which specifically say "for stretch marks on them," regular cocoa butter doesn't really work) and they all work well! This one is very easily absorbed so don't worry about feeling greasy, and it has a nice soothing smell. It's very moisturizing, and I have been seeing my stretch marks fade! You do have to apply it regularly. I think it says 2-3 times a day. I did that for a while, and now I just do once a day, which is still working. My stretch marks were on my inner thighs and hips, and they were deep red and purple. They're fading to a light brown, and eventually silvery nude! Mind you, the actual "dent"-like lines will still be there, because the damage has already been done, but the look of them gets a lot better! I would recommend this or any of the other stretch mark products for those looking to fade their stretch marks. I hope it works as well for you as it did for me!

I'm on my 7th day of using this and OMG.. I LOVE IT.. it really works! I was trying to get rid of my little bumps on my thighs, and right now, it's getting smoother and smoother. I keep touching my thighs up and down because it feels so soft!! When I apply it, it doesn't stay oily, but it absorbs quick! I would highly recommend this product!
