Overall, this is an ok eyeliner. It does the job well for its price but doesn't really cut it in terms of staying power. It goes on very smooth and looks great at first but fades midday and leaves an awkward faded blue-black colour on your lids (I got the shade Deep Black).
I would recommend this to someone who doesn't wear eyeliner often or who doesn't want to invest in something a little bit more high end.

After reading the reviews on here, I rushed out to get this and had high expectations. As the 2nd reviewer below said, this eyeliner is hyped. It is mediocre in quality. Ive tried numerous eyeliners from drugstore (such as L'oreal, Covergirl, Maybelline, Wet n' Wild) up to high end brands (Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Makeup Forever, Nars, Chanel, Dior).
Like others have said, this is creamy and goes on smoothly, just like the Urban Decay 24/7 liners. In terms of creaminess and ease of application, this is high quality for a drugstore liner and compares to high end brands. It does not snag or tug on the eye during application and glides easily. However, this only has mediocre staying power and does not last all day on my eyes. After 4 or 5 hours, this begins to smudge. Furthermore, if you are looking for a very dark pigmented black, you will be disappointed because this is soft black in color. I prefer the Prestige Total Intensity liner to this.
I will use this as a back up but my favorite is the new NARS Larger than life liner for pigment and staying power.

What gives?! I must have picked up a bad batch! It was on sale at Shoppers and had great reviews for wear, so I decided to pick it up. Unfortunately, it smudged on me so badly, in a few hours I had dark circles and the crease under my eye was a black line. This is low humidity, autumn weather and just sitting for a few hours indoors. Urban Decay, Merle Norman cream eyeliner, L'Oreal Infallible don't smudge on me, I'm not sure why this one was so extreme. In fact, I don't remember any eyeliner being so smudgy, particularly without watery eyes, warm weather, rain, etc. Wish I had the same luck as other MUAers! It was so embarassing, this ended up in the trash.

This is an alright pencil eyeliner, but didn't live up to the hype. All pencil eyeliners smudge on me (to varying degrees) and this one was no exception. It does apply smoothly and is better than your average pencil eyeliner, but I prefer Sephora's store brand retractable waterproof eyeliner pencil.

This is a drugstore find. Sally Hansen please do not discontinue this liner. I got the Deep Black and its quite pigmented black. Forget about UD 24/7-- this is compareable to the BB gel liners but comes handy in pencil form. Its an inch shorter than UDs but you don't have to go over the line like I had to to get coverage--perfect for the purse too. The instructions say to give it a few seconds to set, this is any operative word and hint that says this baby is waterproof and budgetproof formula. Its made for sensitive eyes and did not irritate them like Physician Formula''s gel liner. You do have to use eyemakeup oil based remover to remove. Love it!

In-love-with-this! This is my perfect eyeliner. It lasts all day, doesn't smear or smudge, and it stays on my waterline! I got the brown color.. which looks lighter in the package but I find it goes on a bit darker. This eyeliner is waterproof; perfect for oiler eyes. Will be buying this over and over again!

Happy accident! This is the best "store" eyeliner I've ever purchased. I have the oily eye problem and ALL eyeliners end up on my eye crease after about an hour of wear. As a matter of fact I have expensive eyeliners and this is better than ALL of them. I don't usually wear eyeliner because of this, but this is the best! Got it on sale and only picked up because I had a $3.00 off coupon if I spent 10.00 or more. Needed a 1.00 item to make the 10 so I picked this up on clearance for 2.00. Best accident ever!

This eyeliner pencil applies smoothly and easily. Excellent for tight lining as well. It's a bit challenging to remove with makeup remover and a cotton pad so I recommend using a cotton pad, remover plus a swab to really remove all traces of this!

I also picked this up at CVS's sale at 75% off but would gladly pay full price for it. I have the color jaded green. It is a fabulous deep green color that is dark enough to wear without black liner added. You can definitely tell the liner is green though. It is the prettiest shade of green I have ever seen. I hope they are not discontinuing this color as it was the only shade on sale at CVS. I already picked up a spare, just in case.
The wear is similar to Urban Decay's 24/7 liners but I would say the Sally Hansen's has a better stiffness about it. Urban Decay's tends to get blunt really quickly and requires frequently sharpening. This pencil on the otherhand, is a perfect stiffness, it applies very well, creamy but holds its tip very well. I prefer it over other UD dupes such as the covergirl liquiline blast which is also a favorite of mine, loreal's intense liquid pencil or prestige's intense liner. On my top lid, the wear holds very well, but it does smudge a bit on my lower liner (ALL lines smudge on me as I have pretty oily skin).
LOVE this product, the green looks perfect matched with a nice coral lip and cheeks.

I. Love. This. Product. I went to CVS while they were having the 75% off sale at the end of the year and picked this up on a whim. I've always been curious about the Carmindy products but never about this. I am so glad I discovered it. It is definitely worth full price. The formula is so creamy and pigmented. It reminds me of the Urban Decay eyeliners. It stays on very well. I bought the dark green. Most greens that I've tried look more black or brown than green, but this one is so pretty. I will definitely be getting the other colors offered and wish like someone said below that the color selection was bigger. This is def a drugstore gem. I think I'll get getting the plum one next : )

Amazing pencil liner. The consistency is smooth and creamy and it blends/ smudges like a dream when first applied. Then when it sets it literally doesn't budge until you take it off with eye makeup remover. It's the only thing I dare to use on my waterline these days. I'm actually feeling a bit insecure now as I can't seem to find it anymore at the local CVS. I wanted to get a backup in black as well as try the brown color! Does anyone know if this has been discontinued? D:

This is my new favorite eye pencil! It glides on like a liquid but it stays in place instantly! It's replaced my Almay 16-hour pencil and I'd been using that for 5-6 years!

I have this in chocolate brown. so creamy and lasts all day. Dosent smudge, love it

I have these liners in chocolate brown and pure plum. They are very very soft and go on smoothly. They last really well on me even under the lower lash line-and I have pretty oily lids. I'm a nurse and when I get home from a 12 hour shift (which is more like 13-14 hours later) these liners still look perfect without racoon eye! If I don't have anything on my lid, they create a crease so I have to make sure I have primer and a shadow, even just white, on my lid so they don't make a crease. The brown is really dark, more like a black brown when I wear it. I do like it, but I wish is was less black looking. The plum is really nice. My mother wore it once and it made her blue grays eyes look bright blue-it was amazing! The plum looks pretty red when swatched but looks all purple when it's one. I wish it retained more of that red-purple look when on. I've tried a lot of cosmetics from this line and they are the only thing in the line that I would repurchase for myself. Overall, very nice liners and they have the best lasting power of drugstore liners that I've found. I think they last as well as MAC and Urban Decay. I just wish it came in more colors!

I liked this one, but I didnt like this one. I was looking for an eyeliner that was waterproof, smudgeproof, and affordable and I found it in this eyeliner, but the cons kept me from purchasing it again. The eyeliner is nice as far as affordability, but one has to travel far to find it, because most CVS in my area do not carry it. Even though it's supposed to be gentle on the eyes, mine watered when I applied it on my waterlines. I dont know if the formula is formulated for super sensitive eyes (like mine). My eyes would not stop weeping. Also, it's so creamy it needs to be sharpened everytime you apply it for each eye. Most of the product is sharpened away.
Now, some nice things about this eyeliner is that it is highly pigmented, and looks awesome on your eyes. It also is waterproof and smudgeproof when the eyeliner sets. It's also paraben free, which is nice.

I was strolling in the beauty section of my local Rite-Aid when I saw this Natural Beauty section of Sally Hansen. I was curious and bought this eyeliner to try out, and I am very amazed. It is a gorgeous deep and solid black, and it glides on soooo smoothly. It has amazing staying power, too, and it doesn't fade away on my waterline, even after hours. Only problem is, it tends to smear and smudge and make my eyes raccoon eyes after some time.

Fantastic eyeliner. Glides on smooth, stays all day, even on my oily lids. Usually the only other eyeliner that lasts all day on my eye is the revlon, but this eyeliner applies smooth, does not pull on my eyelid.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Hazel
This is the perfect black eyeliner to line the inner eye, it goes on extremely smooth, i very rarely have to sharpen as i just takes a single swipe to apply. Have been using this for months and am very happy with staying power. As a contact wearer this is the first liner that does not rub off onto my lenses and it does not bother my sensitive inner eye area!

I am a full-time working mom of a baby so I only ever take the time to write a review unless I really love a product (or hate one and am mad LOL). So obviously I love this eyeliner...I will never buy UD 24/7 ever again! This pencil is the same if not better because it's so much cheaper. The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of 5 is because sometimes I have a difficult time sharpening it. That said, I still love this eyeliner and will continue to purchase it. I have very oily skin/eyelids and this eyeliner ALWAYS stays put throughout my work day well into the evening. If you are like me, I always like to know when a drugstore product TRULY holds its own next to its department store twin, and this is definitely one that does just that.
