I have this in Chiffon, and I like the color though i'm not a big fan of the shimmer in it. The holes where the product come out is a bit messy, and the product doesn't last very long. I wouldn't buy this again just because of the shimmer and staying power, but other wise I liked it.

I recently got 4 of these online for 99p each as although I love make up I don't wear lipstick and usually go for a clear lipgloss so I didn't want to fork out alot on lipsticks that I might not end up wearing if the colours didn't look good on me. The first thing you notice about these is the unusual packaging as to get to the product you have to twist the bottom and it comes out of the holes that are at the top which can be abit messy as although you can control how much comes out to a certain degree you do only have to use a tiny amount to cover all of your lips so there is inevitably product left over on the top. Another thing I noticed is the smell which is quite a nice minty chocolate smell which feels quite refreshing on the lips. The colours are quite opaque but they are pretty colours and I have worn them a few times now and they don't dry my lips out. I always put a little gloss over the top and it looks really nice so all in all a big thumbs up :-)

I bought this lip color a year ago, and thought I'd throw in my 2 cents now. I bought this a Dollar Tree, too. I'd call it a lip cream, maybe? It is an odd delivery system, and I feel like I have to clean it off every time I use it. (I think it would be good with a doe foot applicator, too...or a brush) I got in Brocade which is a deep rich rose. It's beautiful. It has no shimmer or glitter, and wears a long time. I'm afraid with a gimmicky delivery system like this that it won't be around much longer, though. :(

I bought this at a dollar store ... so I was very surprised when it didn't suck! LOL

The packing is a bit .. odd. BUT, if you can get over that, the product is nice! Mine smells a BIT like mint? And the slight shimmer in these pigmented... uh, lipstick/lipglosses (lol?) is niiiiice :)

I'd love to see this product with a doe-foot applicator :)

I read the reviews and I am still pleasantly surprised by this great little product. I purchased this at Dollarama here in Canada for $2 in Satin and as I have dark eyes and hair and it is a lovely natural looking colour. The scent I don't particularly like, but it doesn't last very long. I agree with with the comments here about the odd packaging and the way the product comes out but use sparingly and it is fine.

I got this on clearance not knowing what to expect but the color looked so nice (Shantun). Yes the packaging is weird and the product is thick, but it's in the lipstick family, not lipgloss. The name moist and matte is also a bit contradictory, it's not matte in that it is a bit shiny looking (hence moist) but it just looks like a moisturizing lipstick, not like a gloss. The bottom line is none of that stuff matters to me because I love the product. This is my perfect color orange and I have been looking everywhere for it. Besides that pleasant surprise it is a very long lasting l/s. Completely impressed, wish it weren't discontinued, I'd love to try other colors.

I bought the "Linen" at Dollar Tree, then went back for more colors and backup tubes of Linen. The application can be messy, but the trick is to twist up less product than you think you'll need. The smell is nice. I like how Linen looks over my Revlon ColorStay lipgloss. Bottom line: For a dollah, it rocks.

This is an absoloutely great product! I bought this in Satine- a bright orange pink for only a buck at the Dollar Tree. The packaging isn't too fancy- just a plastic box with the name and logo and everything and the lipstick itself's packaging style is not so hot. It comes in a matte, shineless, hard plastic tube with a dull, also matte clear cap over the the tip. The applicator itself is very strange. The tip is black with holes in it and you twist the bottom to make liquid, pink, lipstick WORMS to come out the top. This is a bit tricky to apply at first and smears, but easily wipes off. Overall, this is a wonderful product. It has a nice, smooth look (some what matte) a strange good-smelling vanilla-chocolate mint scent and does not come off easily and needs little touchup. Great product!

I bought 2 of these at Dollar Tree (like everyone else). I got Chiffon and Linen. Linen, it turns out, is a near ringer for MAC's Peachstock on my lips. Chiffon is far too pink for my skin, but Linen is nice enough that I'm planning to pick up a couple more tomorrow.

They're not perfect or anything, but for a dollar, it's not a bad thing to have in your makeup bag. I'd suggest a lip brush as an aid for application, but it's not entirely necessary. It's possible to apply directly from the tube, though it's a rather inelegant way to go about it. It works, but it's not optimal.

All in all, though, can't go wrong for a buck.

The packing is supposed to look like a lipstick tube, but you end up squeezing product up through holes in the plastic and smearing it around your face. Doesn't apply at all well. It would be better to use a brush. I call this a failed experiement in packaging. The texture is okay and the colors are very nice and true, but it doesn't last well on me and it bleeds. There are far too many lip colors out there that moisturize and don't bleed so I'll be throwing the rest of this one out. It's also very flavored, not something I'm crazy about in a lipcolor. There are worse things to put on your lips but I just can't call this successful.

I bought 2 of these Sally Hansen Moist & Matte from my local Dollar Tree: Satine, a lovely bright, true pink and Chiffon, a muted beige rose.
When on my lips, it gives a nice semi-matte finish with no sparkles but some shine. I really like how elegant it looks.

As other reviewers have mentioned, these come packaged in an odd looking tube that seems like a the design was still in testing (utilitarian black and clear twist tube with a colored strip representing the lipstick color).
The colors are VERY true to packaging, however. It takes a while to click the product through the tube, but you don't need very much per application.
I find that Satine is very lovely; you can layer it with one swipe for sheer color, or put 2 coats and get a bright, cute pink. I love that way it looks, and I'm going to get another in Satine!
Chiffon, while nice, is fairly "my Lips but better" shade. Pretty, but it doesn't standout very much on my light skin tone.

The product itself has a nice subtle chocolate minty smell, just like Andes' Mints (which are delicious to me). There is no discernible taste, and it wears off evenly.
I can't wait to try other colors- I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

I love this. I've really enjoyed experimenting with matte m/u from eyeshadow to blush to lipstick, and this is one of the best I've tried this year. It's moisturizing, wears off evenly, and has a gorgeous satin appearance that doesn't feather at all. The color I got was Satine, and it's a striking MLBB. I find that it doesn't make any lip flakies any more noticeable than usual and, best of all, it doesn't create more by the end of the day than I started with that morning. I will get more colors for sure. This is much more user-friendly and requires much less effort than the Revlon matte lipsticks that I also use and enjoy.

EDIT 5/25: Not loving this as much; I found that it does settle into lines more than I experienced originally. I'm still going to wear this, but I wouldn't buy again.

Picked up 4 of these lipglosses at Big Lots yesterday. On sale for $1.89 it was still a waste of money. They smell like icing and apply like icing. Applies thick and makes every line in my lips noticable. Meary mess! I liked the colors in the tube. A pink, orange, nude a lighter pink. I did try the nude and the light pink on my cheeks. They might make a nice cream blush for summer. I'll give a try and see how it goes. The orange abd pink might make a great cream blush for soeone with a darker complexion.
