I use the blue ("sailor") color. My skin is NW15, light brown hair, and blue yes. I LOVE this liner for tightlining and for the waterline. I've never used it on my lids, but it lasts all day for me. It sharpens to a perfect point and doesn't need to be resharped every time (like UD24/7 liner). The texture is great, goes on smooth, I haven't had a problem with smudging or transferring at all, but again, this not my main liner. I use the blue to add a pop of color with a dark brown top liner.

I was given this as a gift, glad I was because I never would have purchased it based on MUA reviews :).

When I see the word "waterproof" in the name of an eyeliner, I assume that it must stay put on the lid and on the waterline. Imagine my surprise when I tried Mally Beauty watercolor liner and neither of these assumptions proved to be true!

I got the Midnight color in a Beauty Tube and was excited to try it because I do like several of Mally's products. First I wore it on my upper lashline with mascara. Within two hours, I had black smudges in my crease and underneath my eyes (and I hadn't even put eyeliner on the lower lid). Since I was testing a new mascara, I thought maybe the mascara was smudging so the next day, I tried it without mascara but with a neutral eyeshadow. Again, within 2 hours the "waterproof" eyeliner had traveled to my crease, was fading on my lashline and again, had traveled underneath both eyes, so that I looked like a racoon.

The next day, I decided to give it one more shot, this time on the lower waterline. That was a big, fat fail! In less than 30 minutes, most of the eyeliner had disappeared from the lower waterline and was now under my lower lashes (wasn't wearing any mascara). To clarify, my eyes are not "watery" or sensitive.

If I could give this zero stars I would. What a shame but my experience is that this is a terrible "waterproof" eyeliner.

This is a pretty decent eyeliner. Not my favorite, but it does a good enough job. When I apply it to my water line, it lasts a couple hours but ends up smudging. I have the full sized black one & also have a 5 mini pack of black brown green purple and silver. The brown works nice too for a neutral look, but I prefer my ysl patent leather e/l instead for a brown e/l.

I love these eyeliners. They are very pigmented and stay on forever! I can only use certain eyeliners because I have sensitive eyes and these liners to not bother me. They are great liners for the price, especially since they are a more upscale brand.

I have the Starlight liner in Ice Blue and it is a gorgeous eyeliner! It is a beautiful satin-finish pencil liner. It is a little bit on the thick side when it comes to the pencil, so don't expect a super fine line from this product. What I find annoying is that you must sharpen it and I hate to ruin the metallic packaging that it's in. Also, it takes a few tries to get good color payoff. What I really love is that it has incredible staying power, even without primer! I wore this on a 64-hour journey involving airports, planes, no sleep and no touchups and it almost perfectly stayed on! That seriously impressed me. It is a little bit on the pricey side, $20, but nothing that's too expensive. I would definetely say it's worth it!

I own many colors because these are quite simply the best! Plum and Lucky Penny are a couple of my favorites. She has a wide range of colors from midnight to caribbean to ice blue. There are about 16 colors available on QVC. PROs: Highly-saturated, smooth, but more importantly it lasts until you take it off. I took my kids swimming with this on and it lasted!! These are better than her Evercolor Automatic liners, so don't be fooled. These are the ones to own!

simply put...BEST EYELINER EVER!!!
i use ALL of mally's products and they DON'T disappoint!
i actually prefer these pencils to the self-sharpening ones she offers in the evercolor family. the color glides on, is highly pigmented and LASTS til you take it off! you have 30 seconds to smudge it or do with it as you will. once it sets, it STAYS!
i will purchase time and time again (as i already have).
love you mally-xxx

These are good if not great - I have both oily lids and watery eyes, so they stay put as well as can be expected under these circumstances. The outer corners of my eyes sometimes water, and the color comes off, otherwise the color stays put all day.

When I apply to my upper lid, I do notice some transfer to my lids if I don't apply eyeshadow immediately, even if I use primer and set it with powder - so it doesn't "set" after 30 seconds. However, even with my very oily lids, I do notice I an still see my eyeliner after 8 hours, even the fun colors like light blue, so it does have some staying power.

I like that the liner has some blendability before it sets and the colors are pretty. I have 7 colors and will purchase again when I run out. I like to layer the colors and wear 2 or 3 at a time.

I truly feel that there are NO eyeliners out there that are completely smudge-proof or bullet proof or whatever terminolgy the marketing people come up with to imply that the liners will stay put! That said, I am in LOVE with the gorgeous colors and rich saturation of pigment that Mally's eyeliners deliver. I have eleven of these liners, and the colors make it worth the retouching or running that all liners IMO tend to do. I mean we are blinking, in and out of hot humid weather, all types of things, and there is NO way an eye product isn't going to run and shift around a little bit at the best of times. Makeup isn't perfect, but these eyeliners are a lot of fun to play with...like crayons for grown up girls...love them!

Mally Beauty Starlight Eyeliners are great. I bought one in Royal Plum for my mother, along with the Mally volumizing mascara, and lip gloss in Garnet. First of all...my mothers eyes are pure hazel and this royal plum eye liner looked beautiful on her. It made her eyes look more contrasted and saturated.

I bought a set of 10 eyeliners from QVC and guess what?!
I LOVE THESE LINERS! I think the colors are fabulous; some are fun and some are different shades I normally would not purchase. The staying is better than average for me, I rate them the same as Urban Decay liners. The pink box the liners came in is cute and useful for storing the liners in or for something else.

Your better off going to the local drugstore and buying some Cover Girl eyeliner, cause they really work better then Mally's pencils. I gave 2 stars cause the colors are pretty, but calling them waterproof is an outright lie. I bought these off QVC after watching Mally and the host go on and on about how you can wear these all day long, cry your eyes out and still wake the next morning with the color looking perfect. I first tried the green color, about an hour later I looked in a mirror and the color had gone all over my eyelids and creases. Mally is a really good artist, but her products are not so good. =/

mally eyeliners are my favorite! don't smudge & come off so easy with just soap. glide on so creamy & have amazing pigmentation. 3 for $25 is a bit pricey but no doubt worth it. I also have super sensitive eyes & this doesn't at all irritate them. I can't rave more about mally eyeliners

they're okay--nothing spectacular yet not the worst out there. they do remind me a bit of urban decay's liners which don't have the staying power i require in a pencil liner. i prefer MAC pencils. the green was a pretty emerald green though.

I tried the trio offered on QVC. They emphasized that these are "bulletproof". No way! They were less durable than a typical wax based eyeliner pencil. I thought it was a joke. I sent them back. Don't you get tired of all the makeup artist hype! I wanted to give this product a "0" but the form wouldn't let me.

I bought both sets of these and I have to say they work fairly well for me. I do not have oily eyelids, and I seldom use a primer and these stay on for the most part all day. I do a lot of eye rubbing (habit) and I get some rubboff from the outer corner but it still looks great. I also use this on my waterline and I think it does a pretty good job. I usually use my Smashbox Jetset on the water line but when I am in a hurry I pop this on and its fine. It does melt off a bit but I haven't found one that doesnt yet. As such, I do tear up quite a bit I always have even without make up. I love the colors, especially the more glimmery brown, it looks great smudged on my blue eyes. The light frost blue doesnt do much but it does highlight my inner corners well. The black is also a very nice black and if you smudge it, it doesnt move. I would buy these again, however they seem to be lasting me a while.

I just don't get the bad reviews on this product. This is hands down the best liner I have ever used at any price point. This will still be on if I don't wash it off overnight. It's that good.

I really wanted to like this eyeliner, but it does not do what it says. I bought this in the midnight. I bought it for lining my inner rim. It does not even last 30 minutes! I put it on and it looks great, look in the mirror and it's gone, very quickly! I will go back to my MAC fluidline for the waterline. I have tried it lining the top of my eye, and it is just okay. The eyeliner is so soft, that it is hard to control. I did put it in the fridge for about 10 min. before sharpening, and that helped to sharpen it.

Got this in 'midnight' and like the fact it is a strong true black colour. What I don't like, though, is that the texture is so soft that precise application is beyond me. I don't have the time or inclination to sharpen the pencil before every use, but it blunts so easily - then applies messily. I'm also shocked at its poor staying power. On me, although it remained true on my lower lash line, it migrated within a few hours onto my upper lids. I don't usually get that happening with even cheapo liners. I find drier pencils give a cleaner line and adhere much better (and neater) to my lash lines, so I won't repurchase.
