I thought this sounded so good - fruit and flowers mixed with vanilla... Yes please! It seemed ideal for summer, but I have to admit I was a little let down.
This starts out more floral than I thought it would be, and I had hoped there would be more of a fruity quality. I really wasn't able to pick apart the individual notes, but I wouldn't say it smelled particularly incense-y to me.
I think the biggest disappointment for me was how long it took before I could smell any vanilla. It's not until this is good and dry (around 4 hours) that vanilla made an appearance. However, I will say that once it does, it's really pretty. Very soft and sweet!
This doesn't have much sillage, but it sticks around well enough. I've had it on for about 7 hours and I can still smell it a little bit.
I really enjoyed the drydown of this one, but I the top and middle weren't good enough for me to want a bottle. I think people who like "florals with a hint of vanilla" would like this more than somebody wanting "vanilla with a hint of florals".

This was love at first whiff for me too. This vanilla fragrance reminds me off fresh baked pastries. Early morning sugary, frosting toped danish.. Yummm. very nice scent, but you must love vanilla to appreciate this one...

For me it was love at first whiff! I got this in a swap. I love vanilla scents and I thought this one sounded interesting. I am so glad I tried it, it is now one of my favorite perfumes. It is very sweet, but I like sweet scents.

I loved how this smelled in the bottle. That was my mistake there. I should have sprayed some on and see if this would agree with my body chemistry. Well sadly it did not. It smells like stale baby wipes.........with a little baby poop on my skin. From the bottle, it smells like a light fruity vanilla with a hint of some florals. It is a very unique fragrance. I now use this as a room spray, well if it can't smell nice on me, at least my room smells delicious! LOL

I too purchased this on sale at Sephora. It's a very pleasant light fragrance. On me,it smells like soap & vanilla. I took a shower last night so it's not that! for some reason, when it hits my skin, the vanilla morphs from sharp to sugary to squeaky clean w/a hint of sweet.

I love, love, LOVE this fragrance. I normally don't like amber notes in fragrances (strong ones give me headaches) but this is just a touch of amber, a slighty fruity/incensy beginning, that quickly dries into a soft, sweet, sugary vanilla. And I love sweet vanilla scents (not cookie dough/cake batter/fake vanilla sweet, but vanilla with a touch of sugar sweet) Like this scent. Bought from Sephora for only $20 dollars for a 3.4oz. I think they are discontinuing it there, I'm going to try and buy a another bottle while they still have a few left. Waiting to wear this for warm weather.

I am currently in love with this fragrance, but we didn't start out that way. I kept sniffing, more and more hesitantly, unsure of how I felt. Yes, it was pleasant, but pleasant is not enough. But the more I smelled this the more I wanted to keep smelling it and now I am so drawn to this that I want to bathe in it. It is very sweet, in a candy-kind of way (kind of sweet tarts and cotton candy) and reminds me of CSP Vanille Abricot, only better. (I didn't like Vanille Abricot because it was nauseatingly sweet and lasted about 5 minutes). But this is soft, pretty, sweet vanilla with a tarty tinge.
Notes: Bergamot, Tangerine, Lavender, Rose, Tuberose, Vanilla, Opoponax, Tonka Bean.

I am a vanilla lover, but this one turned out to be pure bubblegum on my skin. Weird. Very sweet bubblegum. Also too floral in the opening for my taste. Floral vanillas are always tricky. Notes include: vanilla, bergamot, amber, fruit, cedar, ylang-ylang, tonka bean, incense. Try Madagascar and Noire du Mexique instead. They're much better.

i got this as a present for a very young coworker. She is only 19 and she loves floral and vanillas. I think it's nice enough,a bit tropical a bit gourmand but it's not as interesting as the Magadascar from the same company. When the floral part fades there's no depth and it doesn't last long. This is a cooton candy vanilla, not in any way grown up,with ylang ylang for Lolita sensuality.Too childish for me

Ahh this is disgusting! This is granny perfume! I'm so glad i went to the store before i bought this. This is not a gourmand type of scent or is it like CSP! Smells like dead flowers! The only thing I like about this is the container/packaging! HAHA!

I love this line. Definitely a must for Vanilla lovers and those who like CSP. This scent reminds a bit of Aloha Tiare but with a vanilla base. It wears really nice. I smelled the scent at the end of the day on my arm and was impressed with its staying power.

i got this at sephora a couple months ago, when i was just longing for a lush, creamy vanilla to get me through the winter blues. i dont care that it smells more "summery", i'd wear this anytime! so lovely, and lasts a long while on me. the opening is kind of strong and powdery.....but once the middle takes over, it mellows. and then when the vanilla at the bottom kicks in a couple hours later, it goes very sweet and creamy on me....which i love! i love sweet, quality vanillas. the top notes aren't my fave, but worth the wait to get to the vanilla. i want to try the madagascar next, as i have tried mexique.....which is pretty nice too. this line is a must try for vanilla lovers. *EDIT* i think after i have sampled madagascar i like it even better than tahiti! it isn't as powdery, but every bit as sweet and sexy. still like tahiti though, but i think the powderyness, at least i think it is, is a little much in the beginning for me. all in all, u can't really go wrong with any of the scents. and they are priced very well! i *think* less than 40.

I don't get any florals in this,I get sugary sweet comforting vanilla. Very fleeting only lasts an hour on me,so it only deserves 3 lippies.

When I first smelled Fleurie I immediately thought of baby wipes. I found it different from any perfume I had ever owned. I like it, though! I think it was an acquired taste. On me, the vanilla comes out more than anything. Next comes the fruity note and the ylang ylang. I find this fragrance quite similar to that of Euphoria by Apivita Aromatherapy.
I have to admit, sometimes I have to take a break from this one, as the ylang ylang note will get to me after a while, but I always come back to it.

I do believe this is my least favorite of the line - it's much too powdery/floral on me. Despite its sugary sweetness, my skin pulls out the flower more than the vanilla, and that leads me to shove this to the back of my collection. There's no mystery here, either, and with the exception of Lea St. Barth, I like my perfumes darker.

I have a hard time distinguishing notes in this one, but I would agree with the reviewer below in that it is a very cuddly, comforting and soft "pillowy" vanilla. Makes me feel so good! I love this one, it's really soft. I don't get anyone who says they have staying power problems with any of the LMdV's- they last and last and last on me. All day. Through the next.
I love CSP Vanillas BTW also- their "Vanilla +" scents: Vanille Banane, Vanille Canelle, Vanille Mohka, Vanille Abricot, & Amour de Cacao. Anyway, I'm a girl that loves vanilla, but not usually straight up, with no other notes.

One of my favourite scents. I wore this on my wedding day. Generally I find vanilla scents boring and don't favour sweet perfumes, but this one smells fresh and really unique. It's simple and calming. Don't bother with this if you're looking for something sophisticated. On me this has great staying power.
