This is the best eyeliner! I use this in the shade Matte Brown Black, and it is great for thickening the lashline. It lasts all day, but comes off easily with a makeup remover. It also is easy to apply, and the pencil moves smoothly across the lid. The smudger is very gentle and it is easy to smoke out my liner for a more dramatic look. However, when I go to uncap the smudger, sometimes the whole smudger pops out. It is easy to put back in so it isn't a big deal, but if it flies off somewhere and I can't find it, I'd be in trouble.

I absolutely love using this product. I use it every day and it works amazingly! The only problem I have with this product is that occasionally when I pull the cap off the smudger, the actual smudger comes off. It goes back in fine though, so it's all good. 10/10 recommend.

This is a really good eyeliner for the price. I have been using Lancome Le Stylo retractable liner for a while but at $27 a pop, it's on the expensive side. I also used to use MAC's retractable liners but wanted to get something that will perform identical but much cheaper so on a whim, I grabbed one of these in the shade Black/Brown. This product performs just as good as the more expensive brands. The shade that I have is a very deep, dark brown that's very pigmented, applies evenly and lasts about 7 hours on me, even with oily lids and no primer. With primer I can easily make it last more than 12 hrs and that's pretty impressive for a product that costs half of what I usually buy. It is also water resistant (on me) and doesn't come off easily even with soap. Consistency wise, it is neither too waxy nor too soft. It's just right and applies very easily.

I haven't tried the other shades yet so I can't comment on whether the other colors will perform the same. Packaging is the standard retractable pencil type which is what I prefer because there's no need for sharpening. I will definitely purchase the other shades when I go back to the store.

This eyeliner is good quality, as is to be expected for the price point (around $14 if I'm recalling correctly). I use the color 01 Black. I only use this on the waterline as I prefer liquid eyeliner on my lid. It lasts a decent amount of time... nothing that blew me out of the water, but it also didn't disappear right away. The packaging is average... the bottom part that has a smudger and lid keeps falling off.... like the entire thing detaches. I would not repurchase because there are eyeliners that are half the price and preform the same on the waterline.

This product is ok. The glitter in my purple glitter pencil does go in my eyes and fall onto my cheeks. It isn't waterproof and smudges a bit. These are better than the other sephora contour pencils but I'm gonna stick with Avon waterproof pencils.

A while back, after getting a "points perk" size of the Marc Jacobs liner, I broke down and bought a full sized one during Sephora's 20% VIB sale. Even with 20% off, they are just way too pricey for what they are, though, even taking into account how nice they are and I really wanted to find cheaper but identical options for several of the other shades in the MJ line. I really liked O(Vert) which is a beautiful deep forest green and to my amazement I found that the shade Matte Moss (14) is a total dead ringer for this liner but at about half the cost. While it may not last quite as long on the waterline (I don't use dark green on my waterline as it makes me look tired), it lasts all day on my upper lashes and below my lower lash-line. The name of the colour is a bit misleading - this isn't matte at all and has about the same amount of sheen that O(Vert) has. Just an amazingly great pencil at an amazingly affordable price. Bonus - these twist up, so no need to sharpen (I hate sharpening any pencils - so much mess and waste and so much potential for breakage, resulting in even more waste).

While I absolutely adore Sephora's Contour pencils (just check out the # of reviews I've done, if you don't believe me), I want to try more of the retractable ones because sharpening isn't needed.

My go to eyeliner. I use the matte black for my everyday look.

It is a beautiful. rich, dark black colour that looks amazing on the eyes. You can draw a precise line with it, and you also have the option of smudging it for a smoky eye look if needed.

The only downside for me is that, because I use it daily, it does finish quickly as opposed to a normal pencil liner. Nevertheless, this is my HG liner and I wouldn't change it for the world!

I have owned this in black, charcoal, and teal. I finished the black and charcoal but am still working on the teal. They are very pigmented, easy to apply, and long-lasting (even on my oily lids). They do last the 12 hours as they claim and do not smudge. I would like to purchase other shades.

I did not give them the 5th lippie for two reasons: I found that the black and charcoal, like many retractable eyeliners, broke off easily, thus wasting a lot of product, and all three shades transferred on the upper parts of my lids (I do have hooded eyes).

This is amazing! So long lasting. I wore this for a cross country race and a soccer game and it stayed so well! I ended up getting the black with glitter.. Wanted to kick myself for that >.< But I definitely recommend
