I bought this Revlon color on sale at CVS for $.75 and I think I paid too much! The application was gloppy and uneven and the color was washed out. I ended up removing the polish before I even finished the second coat on all of my toenails. It was a mess and impossible to apply smoothly and precisely.

Not usually a big Revlon fan, but I couldn't pass this np up! The color is so bright and summery and I got it 75% off. Happily, unlike the last Revlon np I tried, this isn't streaky. The color is more of a tangerine-hot pink on me, something of which reminds me of Barbie in the early 90's. It's a color that will get your nails noticed but its not obnoxious or anything. I don't know if this color has been d/cd but its definitely becoming a summer favorite for me.

I am not usually a fan of bright nail polish. However, this is an exception for me. Actually, though Tropical Temptation is bright, it is not bright enough to be blinding or obnoxious. It's not one of those colors that brings too much attention and looks like the liquid from a highlighter thickly painted on the nail. Tropical Temptation screams summer without being overdone. It's a perfect blend of orange and pink, looking very...juicy...on the nail. This color has become one of my favorite colors of all time, despite my typical dislike for bright, warm-toned polishes. I wore this on my hands once and the brightness was perfect, lovely, and delightfully subtle (if that makes any sense).
The formula for this color worked quite well for me. The polish applied smoothly, and there seemed to be no goopiness. It is not too thick like some cremes are. There was a little bit of streakiness. But the polish really applies so smoothly that fixing streakiness is no biggie. The brush is just a tad bit thin, but the awesome application makes you forget about it.
Packaging usually doesn't matter for me, but I'd just like to say that I LOVE Revlon's nail polish bottles. They are so nice and professional looking. They make the polish look expensive though in reality Revlon sells its nail polish for very low prices.
Overall, I love this polish. One of my absolute favorites. I gave it four stars because of slight streakiness. However, I would like to note that my fingernails are very ridged. Girls with smooth nails will encounter little if any problems with the application.

I bought this item last night from Rite Aid and on sale and I must say that I love this color, its between a coral/pink color, great color for the summer esepxially if you have a nice tan, I took it to the nail salon today to be used on my nails but I wind up wearing another color. When I painted my nails last night just to try it out, no streaks were left and I only needed one coat, I will buy agian especially when the summer comes back around

Wow , this is such a pretty shade. Great for summer & i think any skintone could get away with this but would probably pop with a tan. Doesnt look too bad though on my NC15/20 skin mind (: . One coat of this and your nails are done. Supposedly lasts up to 7 days but i cannot comment on this as i have only got past day one . Would deffo recommend this nailpolish and all the others in the revlon line.

BEAUTIFUL color, agreed on streaky coverage. Two thin coats dried pretty well in under ten minutes before work though, with no smudges. Pretty good for DC's stinking cesspool of humidity. Not too orange, not too pink. I have fair skin, but a light tan due to cycling to work, and this color is great. I'm wearing a short sleeved, off white linen dress today. I look like I'm going on a safari after work. Fantastic!

I'd been looking to replace my favorite pinky/coral shade which has been discontinued, so I came across this on MUA and decided to give it a try. Not only was it a fantastic replacement for the discontinued shade - it turned out to be even better. So let me give you the pros and cons.
Pros.
1. Absolutely perfect shade. The right amount of both pink and coral, the right amount of brightness and loudness. Ideal for summer feet. Seriously I don't think you can easily find a better coral shade than this. Fun and elegant at the same time.
2. Decent price for the amount you get.
3. In my experience so far, lasts a decent amount of time without chipping.
Now the cons.
1. As others have mentioned, this does go on somewhat uneven. This means you'll need some patience and 2-3 coats. As you pile on the coats, the streakiness goes away.
2. As has also been mentioned, bad brush. Too slim to be user frendly. Shame because I think Revlon could take care of this pretty easily.
All in all: my HG summer nail polish. Some flaws in the useability but the color is so fantastic I can deal with that.

COLOR: great salmon coral colour, i'm nc30 and i like bright colors and this is a color that i think would suit most people
FORUMLA: Awful formula, it comes our so streaky, and very inconsistant and uneven. It's one of those where you paint your nail with one coat, but the even though you are placing the brush by the nailbed, the color just won't adhere to the nail next to the cuticle.
BRUSH: I hate the brush, it's too long and thin, i don't understand why they can't make it thicker so that you only have to go over the nail once or twice to get it all covered. i find myself needing 4 strokes to get it over my entire nail, it's ridiculous.
I just put this on, using a base coat, 3 coats of the polish and a top coat. I have tiny bubbles on each nail, i've no idea what it is, i've never had that happen before, even when i used Revlon Minted nail polish, whose formula is just as bad as this. I've bought many Revlon nail polishes throughout the years, and this year when i happen to buy Minted and Tropical Temptation, 'trendy' colors, is the first time these polishes have failed me, so i'm definitely going to very wary of that fact next time i buy a nail polish from revlon, and indeed any other company.

This is very streaky. Maybe it was the bottle I got but the finish on this was an absolute 0 compared to my other Revlon polishes...and I LOVE Revlon polishes.
The color was a little bit too light for me and I've got a medium golden skintone (NC30/35).
I would probably have kept it and made it work because the color is very pretty even though lighter than I thought...but the streaky finish was enough for me to bring it back to exchange for another color.

This is a very CLOSE DUPE for CHANEL ORANGE FIZZ!
This is just a TAD PINKER!
But, that is what I have been looking for forever! Yay!
The search is over for me!
I just wish it was an OPI! I pray they come out with one soon. Their formulas are the best and last on me for a week! I am an OPI WHORE! lol!
But, this has lasted pretty good! I just had to thin it out....it was just a tad too thick for me.....to get even and a smooth result.( As I am not that perfect at applying polish)
This baby, just screams brightness, without being a crazy neon! Yay!
The search for my perfect bright pinked coral has been an expensive one!
Most of the Essies and OPI's corals were either a tad too browned, too orange or on the red side a bit. Like my California Coral, My Chihuahua Bites(which I do freaking love too), Flirt which is Essies dupe, for My Chihuahua Bites,Carousel Coral, I'm His Coral Friend and many more.
Its just screams...." hello I'm here"
It is a color that any age can wear...if they love brights.
But thankfully..... this is not a crazy neon! Yay! Neons do not look good on the fingers of a woman over 30! IMO! Neons only look good on my piggies!
So, yeah buy one!

In my quest to find a dupe of WnW "blazed" (lovely color, crap formula) I didn't have to look very far. I stumbled on this as I was hunting for the presently elusive SH "hidden treasure" and thought it could be workable. In the bottle this is pinker than Blazed, but once on fingers (or toes in my case) it's a true, bright coral and an almost exact dupe of Blazed. Yes, the formula is thin, but it's buildable, and I haven't had any problems with wear or drying time. I'm going to get a lot of wear out of this during sandal season.

The colour of this polish is to die for! It actually seems to come out brighter than it looks in the pot, but I love it :) It also looks great layered over a mid-pink polish for a nice pink-coral colour.
The only vice I have with this is it seems to go really streaky on me :( even with 3 coats it can still look a little dodgy sometimes, I'm not sure if it's down to the formula or because the brush is a bit thin (although my other Revlon polishes have been ok).
However, I would definitely buy this again, especially for the summer when I get more of a tan!

This is my favorite nail polish in the whole wide world!!! It is a very vibrant coral pink color. 2 coats give picture-perfect coverage, so the consistency is good for a drugstore polish. Previous reviewers have suggested that this color looks awesome with a tan, and I'm here to say it looks fab with paler skin tones too. I'm a fair redhead and this polish looks fine on me. The color is so bright that it's probably best suited for summer, but I'm wearing it here in the middle of January for a bright summery pop of color on my nails just because I like it that much! Highly recommend this polish.

I am quite pale (NW05), and thought this sunny salmon polish looked absolutely stunning on me! It is extremely bright, so I would say it is definitely a summer polish, and a gorgeous one at that. This is a more pink version of Chanel's Orange Fizz polish. I do think the coverage/consistency could be a tad better, but I must say that for the price this one is a winner!

I LOVE this nail polish. I use it now frequently for the spring, all the way through summer. It's a bright salmon, coral color that is nice and bold. My favorite nail polish for right now.
