I am really loving this chanel gloss in the Mica color. For me, it is not too pigmented but it still lightens my darker red lips and adds the prettiest shimmer. Even my husband commented that I looked pretty and he normally does not like any lip gloss because of the non kissing factor! Paired with soft pink blush and it really makes for the prettiest look. I would also layer this over a light pink lipstick as well. I love chanel glosses, and this is a very pretty color.

Chanel Mica is a very sheer pink with fine bright pink, purple and green sparkles. It reminds me a little bit of MAC Like Venus Dazzleglass, but it's more subtle and warm. Even though the formula is very glittery, it's not at all over-the-top. The glitters are so fine, that it doesn't scream glitter and it catches the sunlight beautifully. I'm a fan of anything that glistens (with the exception of MAC Dazzleglasses - hate the formula), so this was a winner for me. The color is sheer, but can be built easily. When worn alone, it's not at all drying to my lips - in fact, it's fairly moisturizing. It's a great shade to layer over any peach, beige or pink lipstick. The prettiest combo is MAC Creme Cup with Mica on top!

Beautiful light pink with sparkles. I love this color alone or over a lipstick. It is not sticky at all, feels smooth and moisturizing on the the lips. I prefer these over a MAC dazzleglass.

This is an awesome gloss, and even though it's sparkly, it looks professional and is pretty long lasting. The glitter isn't chunky, so the gloss feels smooth and it looks good on its own, or layered over lipstick or a darker gloss. The only thing that could be improved is putting more gloss in the container - I seem to go through it fairly fast, despite not wearing it that often.

This is the sixth Glossimer I have purchased this week alone and I am on a roll. This was part of Chanel's Lumieres Celestes collection (which I am trying to collect) and I had to drive to another city to find this. The base is a milky baby pink with a plethora of multi-colored shimmers running throughout the tube. On my medium pigmented lips, this tones down my natural color and still shows up as a baby pink which is lovely. I like to wear this alone and over other lipsticks as well. Compared to Astral which is basically clear with TONS of fucshia-pink shimmer, this is more baby pink and the shimmers are multi-colored and less intense. In my opinion, I do not think these are similar to MAC lipglasses in texture or wear at all. Chanel's is superior because of the weightless and gel-like texture. It is not sticky and gritty unlike MAC, which can run gritty especially if there are shimmers in it. MAC lipglasses are so sticky on me that I cannot wear them alone otherwise my lips will crack and peel. These do not dry my lips out and does not make my lips peel. For the more opaque and shimmery Glossimers a little goes a long way. You get 5.5g which is very substantial, it is $31CAN.

Love this color. I would never have purchased this alone and the Chanel MUA used this over Violent Diamond Lipstick with a nude liner. I reach for this time and again with the nude liner alone. Will always make sure I have this classy pink and spectrum colored gloss on hand. It works with EVERYTHING.

This color is amazing! A MA put it on me with the new Rouge Coco Camelia and it looked stunning--fresh and bright, but not too bright. What I love so much about Chanel's glosses is their ability to add different hues and dimension to a lipstick while blending in. Chanel's in particular are made to correspond with many shades of their lipsticks. This color in particular is amazing! I normally can't stand really pink lips, but this is subtle enough that it pops (but not too much). It just brings light to your lips!

This is one of my first Glossimers, and I finally understand why people splurge for the really HE lipglosses. Packaging is nice, applicator gets just the right amount of the product, it feels smooth and moisturing on my lips, it lasts a good amount of time without being sticky and it doesn't have an overpoweringly sweet scent. And those are not even the main reasons I love this lipgloss! The color is absolutely beautiful! It's a sheer pink with purple, pink and gold sparkles. The pink enhances my pigmented lips, and the sparkles make my lips look huge when the light hits them. I've worn this every day since I've gotten it, and I will repurchase without hesitation when I run out. For reference, I'm NW20, blonde hair, brown eyes.

This is my HG gloss. It is my absolute favorite. I love the fact that it is sparkly and not so much glittery like Dazzleglasses. It has a pale pink base with purple and pink sparkles. This lip gloss is not sticky or drying to the lips. Sometimes I wear this with MAC's Pink Fish. It's sheer and understated but still beautiful. I feel the price is high but I don't mind because I get plenty of wear out of this one.(ref:MAC NC50)

Mica gets compared alot against Dazzleglasses. It is a beautiful light pink with rainbow sparkles that are not in-your-face. The texture is far superior than that of a MAC Dazzleglass because it is not at all sticky.
Chanel gets a lot of complaints over the price. True it costs $27 while a Dazzleglass costs $18 but you must also take into account the amount of product that you get.
If you calculate the price per oz of product Chanel is actually less than half the price of a Dazzleglass!! HALF!
Here are some price comparisons:
Chanel: $27 for 0.19 oz =$142 per oz
MAC Dazzleglass: $18 for 0.06 oz = $300 per oz
Victoria Secret Brilliant Lip Shine: $10 for 0.05 oz = $200 per oz
__
GOSH Gloss Eclat Brilliance: $15 CAD 0.2 oz = $75
GOSH Brillian A Levres = $13 CAD 0.3 = $43

I think this is the perfect baby pink gloss. I love the pigmentation, consistency and staying power. It looks beautiful alone, and over a lipstick.

This is a very nice gloss to put over a lipstick to give it that extra umpf! It reminds me a lot of MAC's Baby Sparks Dazzleglass except Mica doesn't feel as thick so its a bit more comfortable on the lips. I like this a bit more then Baby Sparks. It has good staying power & is nice for a pale lip. It's very pricey so I would buy it only when I could splurge.

Although this has such pretty rainbow glitter in it, I don't think that it's worth the money. Really it's the same texture as the MAC lipglosses. Basically the same idea as a dazzleglass. I put it on my lips and I don't think the glitter will even show up over a lipstick which is normally what I use glosses for. It's pretty if you like an almost clear gloss with very fine rainbow glitter. I'm a little disappointed and I think I like my MAC Cultureclash lipgloss better (they seem very similar).

This is a beautiful sheer baby pink with loads of green and hot pink shimmer. On my lips it is colorless, but the iridescence adds a beautiful dimension of sparkle. This is one very gorgeous and unique gloss.

I'm not overly impressed with Mica because it is a sheer baby pink but the shimmer in it is gorgeous. It literally has multi-color shimmer in it that makes my lips glimmer and shine. It basically gives me the "wet look." This would look fab with a strong eye. I tried it on with a light eye and it looks like it's washing me out. Next time I wear it it will be w/ a smokey eyes. I'm still trying to decide if this is worth the $28 pricetag. Edit: I am LOVING Mica. I'm finding that these new glossimers are like MAC Dazzleglasses without the sticky-ness! I've been wearing Mica almost everyday since I got it. It's simply gorgeous. I still find that it's not that pigmented but that's what makes it great for everyday. The multi color mini glitter in it is amazing. I love that it's not too OTT like with some Dazzleglasses. This is just right and if anything the glitter just makes my lips look very glossy and shiny. At this point I'm thinking of getting a backup of this since I hear it's LE.

So, I was hesitant to try this, because it barely looks like anything in the tube. Plain, pale shimmery pink....and I felt like for the price tag, you could get this anywhere, right?
Not true! The Chanel MUA tried it on me, and I was instantly in love. I was looking for an everyday color, something really pretty, not too loud, but not blah. (Most pale colors make my N4 skin look like death. But I hate brights, b/c my mouth is kind of large. So therein lies my dilema.)
My lips are very pale, kind of purple-ish on their own. This makes them pop, manages to still be pale pink AND not wash me out. That's a feat in and of itself. Love this. Would buy it again.

This is the other one from the Celestial light collection that i fell inlove with, Cosmos and Mica,
Mica reminds me of a cristalle gloss called Confiserie ( asia color)
I got Confiserie on ebay and bought 5 of them and was trying to find a good subsitute for when I will run out and mica is it! In the tube mica looks like a soft pretty sparkling pink. it has more color then the confiserie did, Mica has more pink pigment and i never expected to see it show so nice on my already pigmented lips, most glosses would look sheer like i was just wearing a clear gloss with sparkle but not the case with Mica!! If you have pigmented lips and most sheer glosses look clear you should try this gloss its sheer but with pigment I was so shocked that it looked they way it should on my lips I also bought 2 more back ups of this color also
