Just got this glitter pencil in Bains Douches, which is a beautiful blue colour, perfect for spring and summer. Unfortunately I did not enjoy the glitter part of the pencil. There are huge chunks of glitter in it, it would be perfect if it was more of a shimmery product, but this glitter is just too much. I took my make-up off yesterday evening and when I looked in the mirror this morning I had still glitter in my face. It's really unfortunate because I love the colour and I love the fact that it's a pencil, but the glitter is just not for me. If you don't mind the glitter you should really try it because the colour is very pretty. Ah, well this is up for swaps.

The glitter wanders and eventually makes it way into your eyes. Very irritating. Pass.

I haven't bought this product, but I was browsing Sephora.com and came across it. I was actually surprised to see that such a product is made by Nars, because it doesn't seem like a typically classy Nars product . It seems better suited to a more "fun" brand like Too Faced or Urban Decay. Anyway, I decided to read the reviews here first before ordering and sure enough, the reviews confirmed my suspicions. I would never pay Nars prices for a glitter pencil that I could easily find at the drugstore for less than 10 bucks. In fact, Maybelline's cool effects gel liner is absolutely amazing for a mere $7. Same waxy formula in a jumbo pencil and it even feels cool going on. A much better bargain in my opinion.

Being passionate about all things purple, I naturally made a beeline for Le Sept. This pencil is an obvious choice for nighttime, but it's so gorgeous smudged all over the lid with an extra swipe near the lashline for day. As a plus, the pencil has lasted for nearly a year with semi-regular use. Bravo!

I have this product in: Area, Danceteria, Mudd Club, Xenon and Le Sept.
I use in combinations of 2: the lighter colored one on the eyelid and the darker around the eye. It is fabulous and I always get tons of compliments particularly with the mauve (Xenon / Le Sept) combination.
Great pencils!

These are a little big but these are soft and they are apply easily. I find these are good quality and I get compliments when I wear just a thin line above my lash line. These last long and don't irritate compared to the Victoria secret glitter liners. They also well pigmented with glitter and color. Overall I think these are worth the money, and would buy again.

One of the best glitter eye pencils on the market. I have purchased this product four times. Nonsmudging, great color and easy to use.

I have this in Le Sept, which is a pretty, purple shade. While I love the colour, I never find myself reaching for it as it isn't all that easy to apply (it drags) and there is way too much glitter. My main issue is the price.. $22! If it was half the price I would give it 4 stars, but is not worth the high price at all. STaying power is medium.

These colors are awesome, but with the large flecks and pcs of glitter- which look amazing on- it seems to cause the formula to either be too hard or crumble easily. I find I cannot apply direct to lids because it's too abrasive. I have to draw a few strokes on my hand and then either apply with fingers or a brush. The effect is hard to beat though, there really isn't any other glitter liner on the market that makes such a big statement.

I love this liner to go clubbing and what I do since it is very waxy and does smudge with us oily lid girl, I first apply eye base then I line and smudge it a bit then I apply a black eyeshadow right over the line. This helps seal the color in. It's perfect when you use shadow for a smoky look then line with this. Just be careful when lining the bottom lids, don't line the inner lid or you will have glitter in your eyes. I have Area and love it.

Completely edited: After taking a long hard look at this item, I've come to realize that it creases like crazy (even with a base), leaves my eyelids looking oily, and the glitter starts to spread.

Definitely not up to the standard of the normal NARS products.

I'm giving it two stars simply because that it doesn't work on the upper lid, but it stays pretty well smudged into my lower lashline. Not worth it though.

I never thought a chubby black pencil that was kind of soft with gold glitter would work for me. I hate glitter and feel black eyeliner is too harsh on me, and soft pencils smudge too much IME. But I bought this (shade: Area) for fun anyhow and I LOVE it! It gives me a great effect - that black exotic soft-veering-on-smudgy look with enough gold shimmer to really make my green eyes pop. And I was astonished that it stayed put for hours. This is a gorgeous product.

I bought Mudd Club, a brown with gold. I was looking for an eye shadow in a pencil like the Clinique chubby sticks, lazy makeup. Way too glittery for me, although the color was nice. Glitter on my face, in my eyes...I returned it.

I have the glitter pencil in Mudd, and every single time I wear it I get compliments. The glitter tends to fall on the cheeks after awhile and it's subtle, and everyone loves it. I know everyone is saying the pencil is too big, but it's not really for thin eye-lining - it's for effect! It's perfect!

i tried this on when i was at sephora and loved it so i got it. its perfect for going out at night partying .. very glamourous. it's the darkest black with tiny gold glitter in it. the glitter, however, doesn't show up that much so you don't look too scary. the only problem i had with this is that the glitter was bothering my eye a little bit. it was also very pricey, but the product is worth it.

I love NARS and usually buy into anything he makes. Unfortunately, I purchased the glitter pencil in Danceteria and it is one of the most useless products I have ever bought. A big fat waste of money! These last for about 10 minutes and then end up in my eye and everywhere else but where it is supposed to be. If you want a crappy product for $24.00 then I would recommend a Stila Lip Glaze over this.
