I love this trio, the eyeshadows blend beautifully, the darkest colour looks great and it is very unique (well blended) they do not fall a lot as other high end eyeshadows, the one I use less is the pink one, I also bought the highlight colour "butter" on its own as it looks soooooooo pretty, I can not tell much about the price as I got it from amazon with a good discount....It is perfect for travelling too, the only bad thing about the packaging is that the letter fade but otherwise I like it a lot.

The colors are so cute. I apply the dark chocolate brown in the outer corners of my lower lash line with a pencil brush, then the pale rosy pink along the rest of my lower lash line, and finish off with a dab of the buttery yellow in my inner corner. This accentuates and brightens my eyes at the same time. I have not experienced fall out with this eyeshadow either, which is always a big plus to me. You have to screw the cap off rather than just flip it open, which is interesting but inconvenient. Nonetheless, I love this eyeshadow trio so much that it is now a permanent part of my everyday makeup routine.

This trio has a rose pink, a dark brown, and a cream color for highlighting. As with most of the Smashbox trios I own, a primer is a must for the colors to show up, especially the pink. I do like the combination of the pink and brown, but overall I probably wouldn't repurchase.

Really like this trio, the pink color has hardly any pigmentation, but since I'm not really into doing pink on the eyes, that doesn't really matter. I love the ivory-white color! Use it as a highlight on my eyes and face, I hit pan on that color! The brown colors alright. I'm quite happy with the trio.

The smashbox trios are the best I have ever used. Especially for photo shoots. I have never had an issue with creases or anything which is a problem a lot of times for me. All of the colors balance out and mix perfectly which makes it fast and easy to work with. The color is very rich and stays on all day. I also find that it has just the right amount of shimmer to it. It's very good quality for the price. There are also a lot of other beautiful trios they have out.

I own this trio and shutterspeed and neither one is that great for the price. I do the brown in this color and I use the yellow for highlighing, but I'm not a fan of the pink (it's too glittery/shimmery for me).

What a dissapoitnment this product has been. In the pot, the colors look really pigmented and harmonious, but when applied they are terrible together. The lightest color turned into an unflattering goldish yellow. I thought it would be more of an ivory from looking at it in the pot. The pink is garish and fades right away into a shimmer that does not blend well with the yellow. The contour color, a dark maroon in the pot, applied looks like a light wash of plum grey. Not one of these colors stayed true to form, they all faded and had way to much shimmer. Blended they didn't compliment each other and by mid-day I had a yellow metallic dark rose merlot color going on between the three colors. As I was purchasing this shadow trio, I made a mental list of the other colors I wanted to try. I think I will give them a pass after this experience.

I was hoping that these colors would create a sophisticated neutral eye, but the pale color is too yellow, and the pink is very pink. These colors just don't seem to match each other well. I was surprised to find that the yellow and pink are shimmery, because they don't look that way in the pot; I definitely would not wear this to work.

I like this. This is a passe partout, everyday makeup, very portable, alowing you to create different intensity of looks. Very good for someone who dont wear a lot of makeup, like my mom (I made her buy one for herself) or wants something compact yet very reliable to keep on her purse (like I do with mine)!

I'm a fan of the natural, contoured eye look, so this eye shadow trio is a perfect fit for me. The three colors consist of a yellowy-vanilla base, a rosy-pink crease color and a chocolate brown that is great for both lining the eyes and to build up the corner of the eye. These eyeshadows are also very low in shimmer which is a fabulous for work. The textures are very soft and easy to apply. The pigmentation is also quite excellent. You can definitely build up the look from everyday work to smokey night out if you choose.

Very pretty colors and create a beautiful neutral eye. I am not a fan of sparkles and shimmer, especially for the work place. These colors blend well and do not crease. There is just enough pigment to catch the light but nothing that shouts "Disco Queen." Colors did not fade after a hot and sweaty afternoon in the desert.

i got this in a kit from sephora and this was one of the main appeals of the set for me. i've been wanting to try both this trio and the shutter speed trio for a while now but the price kind of scares me off.
that being said, i didn't expect this to be so large and i'm happy with the size. what i'm not happy about are the textures and the colors themselves. you get a matte light butter yellow, a matte midtone pink, and a shimmery dark brownish red shade. maybe they just don't work with my skin tone, but the pink and yellow totally wash me out. the brown makes for a pretty crease color, but i don't feel like any of the shadows go well with each other, and is that not the point of a trio? they also seem sort of chalky, i have a few other smashbox shadows and i've never had this issue before.
when i saw pictures of this online, i expected the butter yellow to be far more of an ivory shade and while i was never that excited to try the pink, i'm disappointed by it as well.

I so wanted to love this product after seeing it featured on Smashbox's "get this look" on Sephora.com. I was so disappointed when I got this! Smashbox really failed on this one. The colors are gorgeous but they lack pigmentation and are ridiculously hard to blend. I like to think I am pretty good at painting my face but I just cannot achieve a good look (or the look featured on Sephora.com) with this. Big thumbs down to Smashbox for this one.

I love the combination of shades in this product - they go perfectly well together and it's great for creating a very pretty, natural look.
Some users have commented that it doesn't last very long, but I haven't had that problem since I always use Make Up Forever's Eye Seal, which makes my make up last a long time.
I would recommend this product especially for women with small-ish eyes, as it really brightens the eye area.

I don't understand the bad reviews! I like this. I received it free with the purchase of another Smashbox product from Ulta. The colors blend together beautifully and it lasts. I wore it on top of Stila Kitten (the liquid version) and it lasted all day and the color payoff was great. It's not super pigmented, but I don't mind that for everyday settings. I would actually pay for this!

Such pretty colors, but don't match on my face and fade on me. I can't get the bronze to even show up as a liner. The pink is so fabulous, but fades to nothing as I'm applying it. The cream just looks like an ugly yellow.
Too bad, it's so pretty in the pan!

I bought this, tried it once, and returned it. I never typically bother to return beauty stuff, but this trio was that bad I actually made a special trip to the store just to get rid of it. Like others have said, the pigment is incredibly light considering how it appears in the pan. The colors are impossible to use together with it all looking like a light, muddied mess and then it wears off like 5 minutes later. Terrible!! This was my first venture into Smashbox products and I am so disappointed since I know it's good stuff!

I bought this because this was the trio that was recommend for me on smashbox.com.
For $28 it's a ripoff, the colors are nice enough if that's what transferred onto your eyelids, but they don't, they are too light when applied and don't last. Not enough pigment, not a good texture and no staying power. I have had much better look with drugstore brands. What a disappointment, back to Sephora it goes.
