I know that a dusting powder isn't something everyone wants. But for those who do, this is a GREAT one. The smell is lovely and vanilla, just as you'd expect. I use a powder puff and a glass jar, but keep the product in the bottle and just put some on the puff as I want to use it. It's nice because you can squeeze the little bottle and it'll give you just a bit at a time rather than an explosion of product. I think this is wonderful, and more people might be happy if they started to use this in their beauty routine. It's also nice for us gals with larger chests, who want to make sure everything stays dry and smooth.

The clever sales girl saw me picking up a Strawberry Feels massage bar, and swiftly moved in to demonstrate how well it went with the Vanilla Dusting powder. She was right, and my boyfriend who was with me did not try to hide how much he liked it too. So I bought both. This dusting powder smells almost exactly like the Vanilla De-lite lotion, which I also own and love. It's a grown up, not overly sickly-sweet scent. I'm not a fan of body powders, but this one seems to sink into the skin and take off any greasy-ness from lotions/massage bars. Strawberry Feels used to be off limits except for bedtime, because otherwise I felt too greasy...not anymore! This product certainly isn't essential but it's certainly lovely.

I purchased this product when one of the sales women recommended that I could use it as a dry shampoo. I picked this one because the scent is so lovely. This is a nice light, vanilla that doesn't smell like the over-bearing sweet, cupcake scents that are usually labelled vanilla.
As a dry shampoo, it was mediocre. I'd use it the 2nd day after I hadn't washed my hair, if it was greasy. Most of the time, I would only go for a few hours before I felt the grease on my scalp was noticeable again.
Packaging sucked. If you're planning on putting this in your bag, I'd recommend you transfer it to another container because the contents will spill, for realz. My bag still smells delicious. It's ridiculous to have a sifter and then a huge gap next to it on the lid, so that the slightest movements will cause a bunch of powder to fall out. I left it on my dresser most of the time so it wasn't a big deal.
The price is great considering how much product you get. I believe I paid around $13 for it and had only used up less than a quarter of it in 6 months.
Overall, I wish I loved it and hoped it worked well as a dry shampoo, but it didn't.

Side note: I've experienced slight hair loss where I usually applied this product, but it occured long after I stopped using this product. However, I think the loss of hair can simply be attributed to stress and not this product itself.

I LOVE this product! I use this everyday. It smells great and always makes my skin feel silky smooth. The only downside of this product is the packaging. Even when you think it is closed completely, it still manages to spill, but if you keep it upright--it shouldn't be a problem. If you are traveling with it, make sure you double bag it...it will spill!

I just got a new container of this DP from UK yesterday. I like the small bottle more than the cannister they used to come in. It is a soft vanilla scent that I love. I use it mostly in the warmer months because I wear a uniform for work and it keeps me from getting so sweaty. Could also be used a dry shampoo but very carefully! One of my fav products :)

I love this powder, it is the first dusting powder I purchased and I adore it! It goes wonderfully with my Vanillary Solid perfume, also by Lush, and the scent is a delicious true vanilla scent.

This product has me so confused! If you are reading this because you are trying to decide if you want to buy this product or not, skip this review! I bought this because I love the scent of vanilla. I am honestly a sucker for anything vanilla. This product smells like pure vanilla, truely a beautiful vanilla scent. On the other hand I have no purpose for this product! It is supposed to help for when you get sweaty but I really dont feel like it does its job. I dumped a medium sized amount in a small container and I apply this with a big sephora makeup brush all over my body, mainly in the places I sweat (armpits, boobs, behind my knees), but I have not seen any real results. Also, the beautiful vanilla scent vanishes within minutes after I put it on my skin. Some people say they sprinkle some of the dust on the beadsheets, but I have no desire to do that. This product was $9.95, and so far it has lasted me 9 months, which is pretty good for a lush product! I probably wont buy this again because I dont have a need for it, but it does smell lovely! Oh and the packaging leaks and is a pain to open.

I just ran out of this stuff. This is nice. It makes your skin really soft, prevents chafing and absorbs sweat... basically baby powder plus. It is mild enough to layer with lotion and perfumes, you don't smell too overpowering, and the vanilla doesn't overwhelm the scent of the perfumes. The only kind of annoying part of this stuff is the packaging - it was impossible to open for me!

I got this last week and I've used it every single day. The scent is fabulous which makes me use my vanillary solid perfume more since they match perfectly.
I hate the container it's in, it doesn't keep the powder contained when it's closed so bringing this traveling would SUUUCK unless you moved it to a different container.
I've been putting this powder everywhere. It's summer so I have been using it in areas that can get sweaty and it does help (which is why I bought this one over silky underwear).
I would def buy this again. I just now need to find an different container and maybe a puff for application

LOVE!!!! I use this over massage bars to pick up extra oil, over any lotion just because (never cakes or does weird stuff), over my Vanillary perfume (which is a PERFECT match), as a dry shampoo... I will even hit the bottom to blast my face & neck with a puff of the yummy perfect fragrance (I AM pregnant, after all)!! It is soo amaazing. A beautiful, light smell. I feel so luxurious when I wear this!!! The opening to the can is usually leaking & when I opened it, it poofed everywhere. Still wouldn't keep me from buying it again!!!! I really need to buy a puff for it. It should come with a puff.

This is a great powder. It smells nice, and effectively absorbs moisture. The vanilla fragrance isn't overwhelming, it's light. I use it after putting a scented lotion on and it compliments most fragrances. The lid sucks, it leaks powder and was hard to get open when I first opened it. I bought a pretty puff and box and put it in there anyway for a more luxurious experience. This also works great in my 2-day hair to absorb oil.

I have tried the LUSH silky underwear, The Greeench, the Urban Decay ones, and the Karma Sutra powders. This one is my favorite (#2 is the Karma Sutra Honey Dusting powder - great for every day)

I've been disappointed by the LUSH products I've tried, but not this one. This outlived my expectations. I love the scent- it's a very musky vanilla scent, but it's not overpowering or cloying. I love it. The powder is very smooth and rubs in very easily. I put this on my skin after lotion and it keeps my skin soft and moisturized all day. I'll also sprinkle it in my hair or on my sheets to make them smell nice, the scent is very relaxing. I've purchased this twice already and will continue to repurchase.

The only downside is the packaging. It's very hard to open for the first time and I always lose some of the product when I open a new one. Also, the lid leaks a little bit. That doesn't make a difference in the long run because the containers last forever, but the lid is kind of a nuisance.

This is easily one of my favourite products from Lush. It has the scent of their Vanillary perfume - that is to say, a rich authentic vanilla, not overly sweet and artificial. I apply after a shower just so I can smell it! It really is delicious. Apply it whilst over your bedcovers, so any that falls down will fragrance your bed linen.

I bought this after seeing a user say how she pairs this with Aromaco deoderant. Well since I had Aromaco, I decided to pair this powder w/the deoderant for added protection. This stuff is amazing! First off, the smell is to die for. It reminds me of vanilla frosting, with a hint of musk to it! It smells identical to Vanilla Fountain Bath Bomb, which is also one of my fav's. I use this powder under my arms, underwear, and anywhere I want to feel drier. My only gripe w/this is the packaging. Mine always seems to leak a little, and the plastic part on top manages to turn open. Other than that, this is my HG powder!!

I really had to laugh at myself as I purchased this item, I wondered to myself if I would ever even use it. Surprisingly, I've used this every day since I purchased it and I've used it in many different ways. I've used it as a dry shampoo, I've used it on my bed before I go to sleep, I've used it after massage bars to soak up excess oils (this + Mange Too = <3), I've used it in my bra to soak up excess moisture and sometimes I pick it up just to smell it. It is a vanilla scent but it's a deep, musky type of vanilla - not a foody type. It's a very comforting scent for me, especially when used in my bed before I go to sleep. There's a spray that I got from Bath & Body works a long time ago that I use when I'm having trouble sleeping. It's a lavender and vanilla scented pillow mist (called Sleep) and this reminds me a lot of it only a more subdued version if that makes sense. I still find it funny that I spent $10 on a powder but after using (and loving) it, I'd definitely repurchase it.

I have many many uses for vanilla puff :)

I can use it as a dry shampoo

I can use it as a Deoderant for my feet

I can also use it after my massage bars so I don't so greasy

It smells of very soft vanilla, and the scent lingers for a looong time!!!

I hate the packaging though. It's very messy and it gets everywhere.

The way I use it is to close off all the holes, and shake.
The powder that comes out of the cracks is the perfect amount :)

as others have said, this smells like a more "sophisticated" vanilla. i might be crazy but i think i detect some subtle cinnamon smell in there. i really didn't know what to use it for when i bought it.. but i have taken to putting this in my hair on days that i don't wash it. it really de-greases and makes your hair smell nice. it also seems to add volume too. i really like it for this purpose if nothing else!

I am not one who likes foody scented products so when I was shopping in a LUSH boutique and saw Vanilla Puff, I was going to pass it by. A tenacious sales associate told me she thought I may like it so I thought, why not, let me try a little, and oh boy was I surprised.

I fell in love with this super scented powder immediately and it smells like you'd expect Vanilla to smell, but there are other notes that almost do smell like citrus ones mixed in. It's packaged in a cute canister and lasts long because very little is needed per use, and I have bought it a couple of times already and will definitely be buying it again.

I love showering with any of my LUSH soaps, and find that Snowcake, Alkmaar, and Rock Star seem to be great ones to use prior to applying Vanilla Puff after drying off. Since I usually layer by using a LUSH favorite soap, massage bar, and dusting Powder, the scent lingers long throughout the day and I don't need to use cologne or perfume.

I think this is an awesome addition to your bath and body goodies, and makes for a great gift as it smells sensational.

A nice summer scent- a lot more sugar than vanilla I would say. I use it on my body if I am not using moisturizer. Smell doesn't last too long, but it is better than other powders I have smelt that are either to baby, or too old lady smelling.

MMM I love this smell. I use it on my legs after using Mange Too if they are too oily and smell of lovely vanilla all day. The packaging is horrible though. I kept it closed and can still get lots of product out of it without opening it.
