I love Bliss products even though they are on the pricier side. I've been on the search for a good moisturizer with SPF, that doesn't smell funny or leave my face horribly greasy and oily.
This moisturizer claims:
-it suits all skin types
-non greasy formula
-illuminates skin
-delivers vitamins, minerals and omega
-has SPF 15
-paraben free
I like that the SPF is just 15 because I think thats a nice enough amount without it smelling weird. This moisturizer has a subtle citrusy scent, nothing too overpowering. The scent didn't bother my sensitive skin. I found that this moisturizer reduced the redness that plagued my skin in the sun. It moisturized my super oily skin just enough. I will be repurchasing this baby!

I received samples of this from the Bliss Spa after I asked for a recommendation for moisturizer with sunscreen, so I've been using it on my face for about ten days. The citrus smell is very pronounced coming out of the package but dissipates quickly; I'm not getting any of the strong, rancid smell that other reviewers are mentioning.
This goes on very much like a traditional sunscreen - thick and creamy. I don't particularly like how mineral foundation goes on over the top and for my combination skin, a liquid foundation over top devolves into a greasy mess.
In short, this is too thick to wear under makeup and too low of an SPF to wear as a stand-alone sunscreen.

This is a terrific moisturizer and I love the fact that is also contains sunscreen. I have temperamental skin (oily, prone to rosacea, easily irritated) and this is just perfect. It sinks in quickly without any greasiness and moisturizes without increasing the oiliness, even on hot days.

I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this product. Firstly, on the plus side, I would definitely say that the smell of my particular tube was fine - it smells a bit lemon-y and a bit like sunscreen, nothing like the crimes against the nose like other people have experienced! My biggest problem with it is that is makes my skin break out really badly - I have never experienced that with any other moisturizers with SPF in, so initially I thought perhaps I was allergic to a particular ingredient but maybe it is just heavier than my skin really needs. Possibly ok on drier skins. Would not re-purchase, it is too expensive and I can't say I enjoy being as spotty as a teenager again when I'm in my 30's!

This is marketed as a moisturizer and sunscreen. It is not a terribly good moisturizer but it is a fantastic sunscreen. I've been outdoors all day without reapplying and only having the thinnest layer on and I am not red at all at the end of the day (not more than usual anyway). Unfortunately it is not waterproof and I can feel it slimeing off my face after a dunk in the pool but enough stayed on that I still didn't get burnt. However, I am also of medium asian skintone so I don't burn that easily but I still get burned when I am in the sun all day and these were all all day situations.
As a moisturizer, it is too light and yet I am afraid of putting on a heavier layer since I still oily and still breaking out. Would be nice to fine something that can also tone down oiliness too but I've given in to the fact that my face is oily anyway. And it wears fine under makeup (when I do wear it, aka once in a blue moon).
And yes the citrus smell is a little odd. Why do companies insist on adding fragrance in facial products. I don't want to smell something this close to my nose. Not a fan of citrus but I can live with it.

I've got mixed reviews about this product. I initially bought it at a sephora sale event before checking the reviews here and when I read the reviews about the smell, I got very worried. But when I started using it, I found that it was perfectly fine. There was a slight citrus scent but it was not overpowering or unpleasant. And so I thought the reviewers here were just kicking up a fuss over nothing. (read on before fuming up, nice previous reviewers!)
A few weeks after starting to use this product, I received a sample from Bliss spa after a facial session and was quite happy about it as I was travelling soon and liked to carry these small packs on the plane given the extremely dry air. However, I regretted it the moment I put the stuff from the pack on my face. There was an acrid smell, possibly what orange or lemon would smell like when it goes bad. You could still detect the citrus base but it was far from pleasant. I wonder whether its the foil, plastic etc etc of the sample pack reacting with the product or that the sample was kept for too long and went bad or that it was simply a case of luck of the draw whether one got a pleasant or horrible smelling version. In any case, all I can say was my airplane experience with this product was extremely bad.
That said, the tube at home I'm perfectly happy with. Its one of the few moisturisers with SPF that gets absorbed nicely by my skin instead of sitting in an oily layer on top. It also doesn't cause more breakouts than usual but then my skin is actually quite consistent, it doesn't react much to any type of products so it doesn't mean much.

So I've been STRUGGLING to find a daily moisturizer with SPF - I tend to become a t-zone oil-making machine by midday...
This product, sadly, contributes to my oil production. I don't mind the smell - I'm cool with citrus, and truth be told, it doesn't linger for all that long. I just wish I could find a moisturizer that does as the name implies, but without making me look like a glare (or breaking me out).
Dang.

THis is my HG day moisturizer and I couldn't love it more. I used o use super heavy spf 55 and up products like Shiseido, etc until I decided that I really don't need anything that heavy or extreme on days when my sun contact is walking from door to car basically lol. Spf15 and 20 uva/uvb products like this offer jsut as good protection on days you aren't in teh sun all day. Honestly I have to say I avoided trying this product for years due to the poor reviews on mua. I always check on here before trying out new products (total junkie) and this the only time the reviews had led me wrongly. I have normal and clear but super clog/brekaout prone skin if using the wrong product. SO many peopel claimed this was heavy and thick like usual cheap suncreen which is why I couldn't im agine it being worth $35 and passed on trying it. In a swap I happened to get a mini tube of this as an extra and decided to give it a go out of curiousity. Long story short so glad I did!! I love the very natural and subtle orangy smell (not sickly like many products that go overboard on candy like scents). Also even though it looks white and thick the second you start rubbing it in is absorbs instantly and effortlessly. My skin feels like silk and glows (due to the great idea of illuminators in this). This provides jsut the right moisture (not for dry skin I'ld say), doesn't clog my skin, and is super light weight. On top of that I couldn't be more impressed with the amazing ingredients and antioxidants in this which completely jusitifes the price in comparison to so many others I've used whose ingredients don't even compare. It truly is the perfect moisturizer/spf in one for a beautiful simplistic routine. This is really one product that has made me doubt always looking at reviews as the final word as for my skin this is HG while for others it's horrible so you really never know unless you try it and so glad I did!

I have mixed feelings about this product...I love that it's lightweight, non-greasy, absorbs quickly, and has SPF. I've used it for a little over a week and my skin does feel smoother. However, I really dislike the smell (somewhat akin to rotting oranges). Ugh. Perhaps I bought a bad batch? If you're interested in this product, I recommend that you smell it first before shelling out $35 for it. :\

This is a great daytime lotion, the smell is very pleasant and it absorbs fast. If you have dry skin though you are going to want something a bit heavier.

I'm sad to read that some users had a bad experience with this product. I am notorious for never using sunscreen b/c it was causing such bad breakouts. :( But after seeing the signs of crow's feet, I had to find something tolerable. I rec'd a sample of Best of Skintentions from Sephora. I was skeptical at first as I instantly thought the product would break me out and be totally greasy. The first week of use was un-impressionable--no results, skin just as oily. By the third week though, I noticed softer skin and less oily skin. I also had fewer breakouts. I also started rubbing the product on my fingers and then patting onto my skin as opposed to directly applying to my skin. I am happy with the product and how my skin was adjusted to it. And for a Bliss product, this is actually affordable.
PROS: light fragrance, no added parabens and artifical chemicals, afforable (for bliss)
CONS: only SPF 15, needs time for skin to adjust

Yuck, yuck, yucky...I can't believe I spent almost $40 on this. I would not call this moisturizer. I would call this sunscreen. Thick, globby, yucky, greasy, nasty sunscreen.
Ok, so, I basically HATE sunscreen on my face. The only things I have found tolerable are the Sofina sunscreen and mineral makeup. So, keep that in mind, I guess. This is pretty much the same exact thing as the Neutrogena sunscreen that's supposed to feel dry and non-greasy but really doesn't, only this is WAY more expensive.
Normally, I won't even buy face products with sunscreen in them just in case they're gross, but I thought- "It's Bliss. I love Bliss. It's moisturizer, not sunscreen. It won't be gross." I couldn't have been more wrong. After one use my nose is covered in blackheads.
It even smells like nasty sunscreen. I HATE this stuff. Don't waste your money thinking this is some kind of moisturizer with spf. It's not. Just go ahead and buy the Neutrogena if you like having that kind of thing on your face. Save yourself $30.
Edit- about a year later I've finally found something I can do with this product. I'm using on my chest. On a normal day now I wear Cerave am or Eucerin Sensitive Skin with spf on my face and this product on my chest. Even though it feels super gross on my face it feels fine on my chest. At least I can use the rest of the tube!

I will just say never in my 36 years of life, using hundreds upon hundreds probably thousands of beauty products, have I ever put something on and been turned off by the smell like I was with this. I tried to muscle through the smell thinking it would fade, I put my makeup on over it and actually could not handle it anymore. An hour after my makeup was on I couldn't take the smell anymore so, I removed my makeup, cleansed my face and started all over again.
I work in healthcare, I have been in the morgue, smelled things that people couldn't dream up in a nightmare and this stuff was so vile on my skin the smell made me sick to my stomach.
Here is how I would describe it: Pretend you walked into a tire shop, then the tire shop became engulfed in flames, you were trapped in there breathing the smoke from the burning tires.....that's what this smells like and it never fades. Gross.

I got this as a GWP. I like to use this as a primer before I put the rest of my make up on. It makes my foundation go on really smoothly. I also love the fact that it has SPF. Will buy full size when sample is done.

I really love this moisturizer! It provides the perfect amount of moisture for the summer and doesn't cause my face to break out, which is unusual for a moisturizer with SPF. It absorbs quickly and completely, with no greasiness at all. There are no unnecessary fragrances added, which is great for my fragrance-sensitive skin. The package design is simple and functional. I would prefer it if the price was a bit lower, but it's not terribly expensive for the amount of product that you get. I think this may be my HG summer moisturizer!

This sunscreen applies fairly clear, feels soothingly nice on my skin, didn't irritate or break me out from what I could tell of the small sample size I had, but MY GODS....THE SMELL.
I opened the sample and immediately began to wonder where tires were burning or what poor, pitiful, decaying creatures were trapped in my bathroom wall. I've never smelled anything like it. And I'm a smoker, so my sense of smell is pretty gosh darn laid back about such things. And I've never been all that bothered by any scent or sunscreen smell before. Yet still I persevered and rubbed this into my skin, thinking the smell would disappear shortly, as most scented creams do for me. Wrong. It lasted a good long time. Hours and hours into eternity. Long enough for woodland animals to leave sympathy cards and commemorative tokens at my back door.
Hey, I realize everyone has different scent tastes, or there wouldn't be 80 gazillion perfumes on the market. But, for what it's worth, this patchouli, musk, amber (trying to think of possibly offending heavy scents here) lover throws the scent of this sunscreen product to the bottom of my favorites list. Or to the top of my least favorites list. Take your pick.

OK, I'm COMPLETELY shocked over the reviews for this moisturizer. I'm really picky about my moisturizers- I want something with broad spectrum spf, has a nice scent, sinks in completely quickly, has something benefitial for you skin like vitamins or something, is in travel friendly packaging, and not super expensive to name a few. I've tried everything from aveeno, neutrogena, and olay to dior, philosophy, and lancome. None of them caught my attention, but some I flat out hated. Even Bliss' other, more famous lotion Youth as We Know it (now THAT was awful, you can see why from my review on it). I tried this one, best of skintentions, accidently from a sample and just loved it. great light lemony scent, sinks in well, great flat tube packaging, is benefitial, has spf, doesn't clog pores, and leaves skin perfectly balanced/ moisturized. Try it out!!!

I got this as a sample from sephora and I am not pleased. People are saying it is non greasy, but for me it's greasy and oily. It takes a while for my skin to absorb it. It also smells like sunscreen, citrusy.

Not sure how stable the sun protection is with this as it does not contain zinc oxide or titanium oxide. It is a lightweight lotion that absorbs easily into the skin. I would like is also to have a higher spf. Does not cause my combination skin to break out.
