This is my HG product. Yes, yes, a lot of people says that this product has 0 coverage. But sometimes i use this as a skin brightener and only that to school. In Singapore, we are not allowed to wear makeup to school, but when i wear this, it brightens up my skin, and cancels the darkness/dullness especially on my mouth area, lids. Besides, this product having almost no coverage let me know that I'm allowing my skin to breathe which is good. I love that this has SPF50 in it and dries matte unlike other sunscreen that leaves an oily shine on my face. To me, the only downside to this product is that its lack of product. It comes in a tiny bottle which is good for travelling. The packaging is okay, not too fancy, which I don't really mind, but the simplicity of the design, I guess, is more Eco-friendly. I also like to put this under my makeup, as a matte sunscreen/primer since it has a little colour. I got this at SaSa, my local beauty supply store at SGD9.90' (I think) around SGD 10. It's available online at Sasa.com as well. Overall,it hasn't break me out, I guess it depends, and it's a great product. :)

i've used more than 10 bottles of this, so that says a lot! havent found anything more suitable, so i'm sticking with this!
loves how this even out my skintone! it does control oil a little, but i'm a little concerned about how this clogs up my pores... doesnt developed into acne, but it sure does clog up pores.

Not good because it contains a ton of chemicals. Butylene glycol is up on the 2nd ingredient in the list. It is comedogenic. So I dont like it, especially butylene glycol breaks me out.

I have extremely oily face and wear liquid foundation daily. My current daytime lotion is Eucerin Face SPF30. Because my face looks a little paler when wearing Eucerin, I purchased this online at sasa.com based on its great review. The Acnes Tinted Milk is a product line targeting Asian market, and like many Asian sunblock has an liquidy running oily consistency. Despite its claim, I found this Acne Tinted Milk does NOT control oil. Other than that, most of its claims are quite true. It spreads well. It wears well under liquid foundation and does not interefere with the color of my foundation or my face. It does not irritate my skin and actually makes my skin feels better after washed off. I'm not sure about its claim of controlling acne because I've been mostly clear of breakout. It feels oily when first put on but not as bad as some other Asian cosmetic brand sunblocks.
Because of its high SPF and low irritation, I will repurchase in the future. It's $6 for about 1oz in a small squeeze tube looking like a drugstore item. Due to it's very running texture, the no thrill package works in preventing leakage. The small size travels well and can easily fit in a small zip bag or a small purse. The direction says shake well before use, so shake well before each use.
EDIT 9/28/2011 Here comes the true test... I took a few small travel bottles of sunscreen/lotion with me on my Asian trip this summer. All my US brand sunscreens all failed miserably. But what spurprised me was the Mentholatum Tinted Milk I ordered from Asia just for the trip was also a big let down and turned very greasy soon after application. I purchased Biore UV milk in Asia and found that much more suitable for extremely hot and humid weather. I wrote a favorable review for Biore and lower the rating for this to 3.

Am I the only one who hates this sunscreen? I bought this cus it was on promotion along with acnes cleanser (which is very drying btw). I really thought this sunscreen would work out for me cus it's spf 50 PA+++ and from what I heard it's light weight and good for oily skin. However, it was absolutely a disaster for me cus as soon as I apply this on my face in the morning, pigment in the lotion (mind you it's tinited) looks very flaky on my face and the harder I rub it in, the more it balls up. I definitely can't wear this if I'm going to work cus it would make me look like I hv some kind of skin disease with nude-coloured flakes on my face. And yes I did shake it well before I used it and it made no difference. The second time when I used it was also a bad experience (yes I used it again although I hated it the first time) cus I forgot to shake it and when I squeezed the tube some kind of clear mineral oil came out. The expiry date was 2013. I really don't know why things like this would happen. Sigh... I thought this would be my HG sunscreen. =( And oh I forgot to mention that this suncreen is very hard to wash off with regular cleanser. I threw this product away after using it twice =( and I do NOT recommend this to anyone unless you wanna look like you got vitiligo.

This is a good physical sunscreen that is tinted close to MAC studio fix NC40, but slightly more yellow-orange(just a tiny bit, not to the point of creepy orange). The texture is lotion to liquid, make it easy to spread. The amount of ZnO and TiO2 are pretty significant in giving a reliable broad spectrum protection. However this sunscreen is not antioxidant-packed and thus for a better protection, you need to apply antioxidant under it. The finish is matte and long wearing(...well, I sweat a lot and the sunscreen is still there), those with oily to very oily skin will appreciate this. Those with combo like me might want to consider using a moisturizer under it, since without it, existing wrinkles will be accentuated.

My Holy Grail!! This stuff is amazing. The tint is genius--I use this as my sunscreen and foundation. The coverage is sheer-medium. I do use a little extra concealer under my eyes and around my nose, but this has made my routine shorter. I recommend patting on the liquid instead of rubbing.

I love this sunscreen!! mine is spf 30/PA ++ and widely available here, in Indonesia. I love the fact it doesn't make my oily acne prone face greasy and broke out. But, this is too mate, especially I'm on retin-A treatment, I found this is slightly dry around my jaw line.
But, I would repurchase, so far is the best sunsceen I'd ever try
edit: 7/6/2011
I didn't finished my 2nd bottle, I found small pimples on my forehead after continuously used this, and I never had pimple on forehead before. Won't repurchase and took 2 lippy

Great product, I got this in Hong Kong, for less than $100 HKD (about 8 GBP) and you can find it online too. It does come out as a pale beigey colour but it matches all skin tones, even my friend who is quite dark used it without any problems, and i'm quite pale (NC20 ish) and it didn't show up at all. It feels very watery, non sticky and absorbs instantly, and does not leave that horrible shiny/greasy look on your skin! Great product for the price, I'm currently using Sofina Beaute UV Cut Emulsion Fresh SPF50 PA+++ which was more than double the price (in a slightly larger bottle) and does the same job, so I would highly recommend the Acnes one :) comes in a shakey bottle with a fine nib so it is very easy to use (no spillages)!
oh as a reviewer below mentioned- not sure about the oil control properties either, didn't seem to make a big difference!

Pros:
- dirt cheap! less than SGD$10 only.
- UV coverage of SPF50!
- absorbs into skin, doesnt leave an oily or sticky texture on face.
- acne-friendly.
- doesn't clog pores.
Cons:
- doesn't control oil as what it claims.

For this item, I will def repurchase until I find something as good as this.

IT BROKE ME OUT BADLY!!! I can't believe that this is meant for Acne at all. It contain mineral oil so if you are sensitive to this ingredient pls don't get this. I have never had good luck with japanese or is it taiwan brand of sunscreen product and i thought i try this because it control acne....i broke out where i usually didn't after applying this for 3 days. I had enough, i don't bear to throw as i just gotten it not too long. Perhaps i will use it on my hand, don't think i will use it on my neck as i'm very sensitive acne prone person so i rather not or else i give my mum which had dry skin and is not allergic to mineral oil. Never repurchase again!

Firstoff, this product is just amazing for a sunblock that has spf 50 its relatively not as sticky as those i have tried before. Beside which its tinted unlike the white sunblock we mainly sees around, which will give your face a white cast effect.
Last but not least it does not aggravate acne!

I bought this product on SASA.com after reading reviews on makeupalley. I wish i had bought it in taiwan! I wanted to be able to wear this instead of MAC studioFIX, but it doesn't give enough coverage. Love that it is 50 SPF. However, my face feels kind of sticky when I put it on. Like I definitely feel like there is something on my face, more so than my MAC makeup. (weird, i thought it would be the opposite). But I would still recommend it!

I'm on my second bottle of this sunscreen now and have stocked up 2 more bottles in the shelf! This is a really amazing product for oily/ acne-prone skin. It doesn't cause any break-out and has a matte finish plus a little bit coverage. The shade is a bit light for me if I get tanned in summer. But in winter time I can just use it as a really light foundation (it also works great under foundation!). I bought this in Japan for about US$6 a bottle, which I considered a pretty good deal. I'd be happier if the bottle is bigger! 30mL is a little too tiny (but it's really easy to fit in makeup bags.) It takes me about 2.5 months to finish up a bottle. Definitely will keep using this!

I ordered this online from ebay after reading reviews here. I have been looking for a sunscreen that wouldn't leave my face sticky or shiny. I have tried many of them once and then given them away. This is it! It is a thin liquid that goes on smoothly and dries right away to a matte finish. It doesn't have too much color in it, which is nice. And it is spf 50! So I have found my sunscreen finally.

I can't agree more with wanyilee. I, too have ditched my foundation and two-way cakes for this HG babe. I'm a NC30 skin tone and surprisingly, this tinted milk shade fits me to a T. Nothing too light or fair like many other products do. This SPF is high at 50 and it also acts as an oil mattifier becos' it keeps the shines at bay all day, which came as a pleasant surprise becos I have never fund any SPF that could double up as an oil mattifier until I found this. The coverage is sheer to medium, great for that no made up yet dewy look. For those with more serious and obvious blemishes may need a concealor to cover up. But htose with good clean skin and just go ahead with this SPF HG on its own.
I never fancied wearing any make up at all due to the humidity and heat in my country Singapore. The weather makes it worse by making any make up that I apply look cakey. But not with this suncscreen. It gives me an even toned complexion, yet sheer and dewy as if I was borned with naturally good skin, mattifies my oil well face all day, and all this without needing any extra moisturisers beneath or MU base. A lazy person like me would use Acnes medicated as an SPF lotion and top it up with Ettusais Day Protect Powder so I know I won't have heavy made up skin with clogged pores at the end of the day cos the combi protects and cares for my skin whilst it let my skin breathes.
This tinted version is not sold locally in stores in my country so I got my mum to buy me 4 bottles of this when she went to Taiwan last year.

My HG Sunscreen AND Foundation. That's right. This baby here not only has SPF 50, but it is slightly tinted and gives a bit of coverage. Coverage is sheer but is enough for me to ditch my foundation once and for all. Best of all, it controls oil, shine, and helps with acne! I highly suggest using this with loose powder, because it helps to keep the shine away much longer than using this alone. No break outs, skin looking better everyday as I ditched all my foundations for this. I am so glad I found this, this product is only sold in Asia but I am sure you can find it online. I love this so much and I already bought 3 more bottles incase I run out. Price is dirt cheap, I found it on sasa for around $6 USD.
