I think R&R shadows are overshadowed by their blushes, but don't get me wrong their blushes are amazing. This shadow is pigmented with a good color payoff, soft and easy to blend, the color is a deep olive with a gold sheen, no glitter or fallout and I like that the eyeshadow compact has a mirror.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
I absolutely LOVE this eyeshadow! It is my favorite color in all the R&R eyeshadows that I have (and I have a lot!). I used this for a simple smokey eye and really liked how it looked on me. Snakeskin is a beautiful olive khaki neutral color, like a brown with a hint of green. It is very flattering on my medium olive skin, but I would imagine it to flatter almost all skin tones. Hurry up and go get this - you won't regret it!

I recently acquired this eyeshadow for about $25 or so (including shipping) online, and I absolutely love it! The pan itself is pretty big, and the shadow is quite pigmented so you don't need to use too much of it. As others mentioned, it's a unique, olive/brown/gold color which looks different under different lighting. The color is very buildable, so don't just pile this stuff on! The formula is VERY silky and easy to blend. It has a nice, sheer sheen to it - no flecks of glitter or anything like that. I love wearing this with Urban Decay's Baked, and putting Snakeskin in the outer corner for a unique smokey eye that's wearable for day time.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
Beautiful neutral! It blends well and has a nice olive sheen to it. Easy to wear day or night. The pretty packaging doesn't snap shut - therefore, I wouldn't bring it when I travel.

Oh Snakeskin, how I love thee. It doesn't look like much in the pan, but believe me, this shadow is lovely. It's a complex, greyed olive color with gold shimmer. But it's not shimmery - more of a satin, glowy finish. Incredibly beautiful. I love to put this in the crease to darken up a taupe lid color or to blend out a smokey dark lid color. It's very versatile. The texture is fine and smooth - easily blendable. It isn't quite buttery though, more of a drier texture, but still very nice. The packaging is luxe and rocker-ish, which I love. These also come in bigger pans like Stila shadows, so it will last a long time. They are pricey, however. They go for $28 apiece, but lately you can find R&R stuff 50% off or more at those discount cosmetic sites. That makes it well worth the money. If you love complex, unique neutrals, this is a must.

Rock & Republic Cosmetics are my new love/obsession. I love the fabulous, luxe packaging and the quality of what I've tried thus far is top notch. This shadow is no exception. This is a murky khaki color with equal parts olive and brown and a gold sheen--not a shimmer, not a frost, but a glowy sheen. Very unique. I love this in the crease or for a unique smoky look. Very flattering on my olive green eyes. The shadow is very smooth and lasts all day. The sheen leaves almost a glowing, wet look on the lids. Click continued to view a pic
