I experimented too much with my eyelashes, trying to enhance my appearance, it all started with using primer under mascara - the white stuff, makes eyelashes look longer and thicker, then I saw video on YouTube about using two mascara after primer.... then I added curler... each time it was a huge pain to remove all this stuff... so my eyelashes were getting even smaller, I guess because of all this product applied daily... then I started falsies...so I was wearing falsies for a year... imagine the cost of new falsies each time and how you are worried that by the end of day they will start falling. I had glue with me at all times. Eyelash clusters, then extensions... when I started latisse, my eyelashes barely existed....latisse saved me... I was so happy when on week 8? my eyelashes were visibly better... latisse really works! The only thing is a price and prescription ... I often just couldn't get to doctor's office.... I had to switch to Fysiko as a friend of mine recommended because of cost - fysiko is 6 months supply for $140 and because no prescription. It works the same, so why waste time and money? But if you have latisse covered by insurance - do get it without second thought- it works, all you need is to be patient and keep applying even if there are no results.... it works

It works...bottom line! I have been using Latisse for about 9 months now. I was very impatient at first, wondering when I would see the results. I honestly didn't see any results at all until week 13...so for those of you who are impatient like me, WAIT, the results WILL come.
At first, I did experience side effects such as eye redness, itchiness, and some burning. That went away about a month later. Now, I apply it once every 2-3 days to maintain my length. I have been asked on multiple occasions if I am wearing false eyelashes or some will just tell me that my eyes are pretty. I do still have to use mascara. Latisse has not made my eyelashes any thicker or darker...just longer. I don't have to use as much mascara as I used to though. When getting ready for work, I have to watch how much mascara I'm applying as they can look freakishly long if I'm applying too much. I've even had to trim a few in the outer corners.
To me, the cost is EXPENSIVE. I have only bought 2, 3ml bottles in 9 months (I am almost out now though)! This is how I do it. First, I went out and bought a very inexpensive eyeliner brush (around $4) from Ulta. Make sure it's soft! The brushes that come with Latisse are useless and use way more product (wastes your money). I use only 1 drop (yes, just one drop) for both lashes. Sometimes I have enough to apply to my lower lash line, sometimes I don't bother. I don't use these on my brows as my brows are already too thick. I would definitely buy again..don't think I could live without this stuff. Be aware, it's addictive to have long lashes and I've actually started noticing everyone's lashes. My friends joke with me and say I have an eyelash fetish.
I am going to try Careprost (spelling?) because it's much cheaper and I've heard great reviews. I just ordered it online before I wrote this review. So, Latisse, VERY HAPPY and gives GREAT RESULTS! It is expensive but much more affordable if you use an eyeliner brush and only 1 drop as opposed to 2.

Edit: I seen some posters who say they apply one drop to their eyeliner brush...DON'T do this as this can also waste the product by dropping some in the sink or applying too much to one eye and not enough to the other. Instead, apply one drop in the CAP. Dip your brush for one eye, and dip your brush again for the other. I know this may not be "sanitary" but I haven't had any problems yet. I wash my brush with anti-bacterial hand soap. You can also disperse the drop on a flat surface like a mirror, or on the TOP of the CAP where it dimples in a little.

I hate having to use something every day. But Latisse has really helped my lashes tremendously. I never had long lashes. It something that is expensive, but helps me to feel good about myself. I would rec. latisse.bz to others as well. its great to hear everyone elses views as well.

I have been using Latisse (which I purchased at my opthalmologist's office) on my lashes and brows for two weeks now. Maybe it's my imagination but I think I'm beginning to see a wee bit of added length on the lashes; my brows are getting darker, but no growth there yet.

I followed the suggestion of some reviewers to use an eye liner brush, but with my bad close-up vision I sometimes don't quite manage to get the drop onto the brush. Instead it falls into the sink. That's like dropping gold into the sink!! Back to the brushes that came with it.

Planning to post another review in about 6 weeks.

Very very very effective...

I started using this when my stupid eyelash extensions almost literally made my lashes bald!

This made my lashes grow thick and very long that people comment and notice.

I removed one lippie coz' of the expensive price. But a bottle usually lasts me more than 2 mos. i never use the hard brush that comes with it. I use the ELF eyeliner brush nstead. I used this for more than a year without any side effects.

P.S
When i stopped using this(cost cutting), my lashes went back to it's original state. The results aren't permanent. Sad:( i miss my lng beautiful lashes so bad...sigh

I use the generic version of this (bimatopost) and it is brilliant, does exactly what it says. It took a couple of months until I could really see results but now my lashes are much longer and darker. Recently I seem to be forgetting to use this at least a couple of times a week and it doesn't seem to have hurt too much, but being diligent about it is definitely better, especially at the start.

My rating for price is because latisse is killer expensive. The stuff I use only costs £11 a bottle.

I've used Latisse for over a year with great results. However, I stopped middle of last year because I couldn't justify spending over 100 a month. I started using the generic version careprost a few months later and the results are identical. Took some time but I found a good legit source with a facebook and have been ordering from lifetime lashes ever since. $30 shipped, saving money and maintaining my sexy lashes! Love love love Careprost!!!

This works! I already had longer lashes from using RapidLash, but my lashes were still nearly transparent at the tips and very light brown at the base. They were also a little patchy in places. This is taking care of all those issues. I have not experienced any irritation and my green/golden hazel eyes are exactly the same color. I emphatically echo what others have said about the brushes that come with this. Toss them immediately and get yourself a high quality thin eyeliner brush. I use a size 0 sable watercolor brush. I put one drop of solution in the cap, dip my eyeliner brush in that drop, and I always have plenty to do several passes over each upper lash line. I wash the cap and eyeliner brush with antibacterial soap, and Im good. I also got the 5ml size with 25% off (from an authorized distributor), so this is now an affordable solution, considering how well it works for me. The website required me to fill out a medical history questionnaire, and the next day I got an email from the site's medical team letting me know that my request to purchase Latisse had been approved. Latisse has allowed me to use mascaras that previously did nothing for my lashes. I don't need a lengthening formula anymore, though when I use DiorShow Maximizer with Fiberwig mascara, I truly look like I have a very nice set of false lashes on. Really great product!

I was very excited about trying this out. I have dark brown eyes and wear contacts.
I will make this short and sweet. Several problems. The first and least is the brushes that are sold with the drops. They are USELESS. Get a small liner brush, use that, and wash with antibacterial soap. You shouldn't get an eye infection unless one eye is infected and you use the brush on both, or a random stranger with an eye infection comes along and rubs your brush IN their eyeballs.
The main problem is that this stuff is evil. It is TRUE that people have had a change in the color of their light eyes.
If I had beautiful blue/green eyes, I wouldn't take a chance to have overpriced longer lashes that will eventually fall out.
Lastly, I tried using this in all sorts of different ways to avoid irritation. Regardless of technique or method, I would wake up with swollen, itchy, dry, red eyes. But that's not what stopped me. I also, within several days of using it, began to have dark redness around my eyes. You can see it in other people's pictures. And they admit to it, yet they are okay with it because latisse works "great"! Just because your lashes are long doesn't mean you look any less terrifying with red rimmed eyes.
I stopped using it and threw it in the trash (those brushes are a waste and a travesty to our landfills) when I began to notice DARK CIRCLES under my eyes. At first I thought it was a coincidence or I was seeing things, but my fiance and mom noticed it too. I want to get rid of any circles under my eyes, not make it worse. It has gone away, but I only used latisse off and on for a short period of time. Listen to your eyes! You can't ever replace them.

Tomorrow is my 8th week mark for using Latisse. The package said full results in 16 weeks, so I'm almost half way there. Results so far? Yes, my lashes did get longer. Yes, my eye-lids did get a bit darker. Yes, now I have a slightly black rim on my brown pupil. No, it didn't irritate my eyes at all.
For all the lash-growth products I have tried so far, I give Latisse a 5 out of 5. One word of advice, don't waste the product on the enclosed applicators. They soaked up the product like a sponge.

I was using the Stimulash and found that product worked really well but it is no longer sold anywhere locally anymore. So I figured I would try Latisse since it's been so well reviewed and I don't think I will ever stop using it. I LOVE how crazy long my lashes are now. I HAD short and sparse asian lashes and now I look like I'm wearing falsies. I used to use Shu Uemura fake lashes but now I don't need to. The quantity in the bottle lasts longer than the month-long supply of brushes so I just use the same brush for both eyes (very carefully) and then I apply the remaining amount on the brush on my brows.

used this for 3 weeks and DID see growth, quite amazing! i started growing baby lashes all over the place and it made me straight asian lashes curly too!

---> unfortunately i also saw black raccoon eyes, my eyeballs started BULGING and my vision was distorted! can you say SCARY? i got the dreaded dark eyelids (both upper and lower, looked like someone punched me in the eyes everyday) and then the 3rd week in the vision problems started. i got so scared i stopped it altogether and it took about 4 days for my eyeballs to stop feeling like they were going to POP right out of my head! so bottom line-it WORKS but it can also have scary side effects, its a drug after all! be careful & monitor your eye pressure!!

I save product by applying with my clean fingertip instead of a brush.

This is an expensive product, but I rated it a 3 for cost because it is possible to use it in a way that your actual cost as used becomes quite low. I've been able to stretch out a bottle to last 6 months, maybe longer, bringing the monthly cost down to around $12 per month (for a 3ml bottle costing $89).

Besides cutting back on the application to about 3x/week for maintenance, after I lost my eyeliner brush, I also found that skipping the applicator completely saves a lot of product.

I wash my hands well, and apply a small drop to the tip of my pinky finger. I then touch my other pinky tip to the drop, so that I have a mini-drop on each pinky finger tip, one for each eye. This amount is sufficient to wet the lashline without running, wasting nothing, and I have maintained my results well this way.

There are increased risks of contamination using this method of course. First, you are applying with your finger which you have cleaned but is not sterile. And second, when you apply the drop to your finger, there's a risk of introducing bacteria back into the bottle, where in theory it could reproduce. (Same problem if you're using a re-usable brush, as many users do.)

If you're making your bottle last several months, it's probably a good idea to keep the bottle in the fridge to minimize any baterial growth that might occur. I don't, though. You could also reduce the risk by swabbing your fingers with alcohol and airdrying before applying.

I started out with lashes that were short and thin to begin with, and now have very decent lashes. Nothing spectacular, but I'm pleased considering what I started out with.

It didn't darken my lashes as I'd hoped, but tinting or mascara enhance greatly.

For some reason, the lashes on one side always grow a little longer than the other. It bothered me at first, but since I couldn't get it to even out, I gave up and just got used to it. It's probably not that noticeable to other people.

Latisse causes a little bit of tan discoloration along my upper and lower lashlines (even though I only use it on the upper) but it's subtle and does not look bad to my eye. I have noticed no change to my eye color and don't expect to as long as I'm using miniscule amounts and careful to keep it on my skin and out of my eyes.

I have been using Latisse for almost 2 years now. I am thrilled with the results. I use to have very puny lashes and now I get compliments on them all the time. I have actually had people ask me if they are real? I use my own brush and this allows me to stretch the product far longer than it's intended(usually 3-4 months). I actually do only one drop in the cap for both eyes and then I have a smidge leftover for my eyebrows. I do not put Latisse on my lower lids because I worry about discoloration and I don't want it to drip/run causing crazy lower lashes(although, my lower lashes are really sad and in need of the extra help). I wish they would stop producing the useless brushes so they could reduce the price a bit because I feel they are extremely wasteful. Every now and then I do get a 'wonky' lash, but I just pluck it out. No biggie. After the 16 weeks they suggest you cut back, but I noticed that my lashes started to fall so now I make sure to apply 5 days a week and that seems to work for me. I did notice that my eye color looks different(for the better!), but I'm still not sure that it's because of the Latisse, I'm wondering if it's not because my extra long lashes are just complimenting my eyes. Regardless, I am very pleased. My friends are always telling me about the knock offs that are out there, but I am so happy with the results that I don't dare stray. Not to mention, I think it's important to stick with an FDA approved product especially when you're dealing with your eyes! I will be very sad if they ever discontinue Latisse.

Latisse really does work and it lasts around 4 months if you use it correctly. Do not go buy the generic off brands of this product because the cost savings to me aren't really worth it (especially when your putting something around your eyes). My two friends and I started using this product at the same time. I always put the drop into the lid that way I did not waste any product by squeezing the solution onto the applicator brush. I could definitely see results at 1 month and of course full results at 2 months. This product will produce different results for everyone. My two girlfriends had outstanding results and their lashes were unbelievably long (almost to long) and my lashes, while much much longer, were not nearly as long and beautiful as my friends lashes were. This is a great product but again the results do vary. My only and biggest complaint is that this did not at all thicken my lashes. My lashes got longer but not thicker. When applying this product, be careful not to drop any onto your face or cheeks because if your not careful, you could grow care there.

I started using Latisse about 2 weeks ago and I already see results, I notice my bottom lashes are growing but only on my left eye. I am super excited to see just what Latisse can do with my already long lashes. I have not had any side effects but i am African American so im not sure of any discoloration since my skin is already med brown..lol...I can not wait to update......Will update on week 4.....So now its week 4 and you guys and I must say...WOW!!! my bottom lashes on both eyes are so long as well as lots, lots, lots of eyelash growth on top have grew so much, I did not think i would see any results at all. I am African American and i do notice a little darkening at the rim of my eye but the groth out weighs it totally. Im so super excited to see what Latisse is going to do on week 6,7 and 8...I will update...Oh and one more thing...(how can I forget) Latisse is working wonders on my eyebrows, I have never in life seen the ends of my eyebrows grow until now...I have to keep looking in the mirrow to see if its real or not. I will say Latisse is working wonders for my eyebrows more than my lashes at this point. Latisse does work on brows....give it a try ladies...

I bought Latisse for $150 (I live in Canada) from a special doctor I had to go see. (not my regular doctor. I had to go to Latisse.com and find a special dr) I watched youtube videos about how to make the product last longer than one month. I DID NOT use the brushes that came with it. They waste the product. I used the smallest eyeliner brush that exists in the world. I put one drop into the "indent" on the top of the lid and would ONLY use that amount. I started using Latisse August 29th and today is February 9th. My eyelashes are so super long it's crazy! I had pretty long lashes naturally, and now mine look fake when I put mascara on them. I get so many compliments on them. people ask me if I am wearing fake lashes, I laugh and tell them no, it's my real lashes.
I'm STILL using the one bottle - so $150 for 6 months is really good. I still have some left in the bottle.

I noticed a little bit of a difference after about 6 weeks. It was the 16 week mark that was the total difference. You have to use it everyday. Although, I would miss a day here and there and nothing happened. Now that I have full results I only use the product twice a week. Otherwise my lashes would be above my eyebrows I swear!

I have not had ANY side effects. People say your eye changes color (brown spots) or you get a brown line where you apply it. NONE OF THIS HAPPENED TO ME. I did however have 2 extra eyelashes grow in the corner of my eye. But big deal, I just plucked it out. They did not grow back.

I would highly recommend this product. It's expensive, but you can make it last forever!

Really made my lashes longer after about 3 weeks. People kept stopping me to ask what mascara I use, and I started getting compliments on my eyes which made me so happy:) They were longer and I had like 3 rows of lashes. I only used it about 4 days a week because I would forget. It did give me some irritation on my eyelid where I would apply it but it wasn't too bad. I also have very dry eyes and it seemed to make it worse. My eyes would kind of burn when I woke up in the morning and I only used the recommended amount of 1 drop for both eyes.
The reason I put that I would not purchase again is because it darkened my eye color. This is a very rare side affect and apparently has only occurred in people with hazel eyes that are the brown-green variety. No other eye color has been reported to be affected. Of course this is my eye color and they used to be mostly green, now they are mostly brown so I stopped using it (love brown eyes too but I don't want to change my eyecolor).

I tried it on my eyebrows but there was no effect.
