For longevity, this is one of my favourites. I got three days out of it with NO CHIPS and am pussing a weak with just some very minor edge wear and chips. This is a big deal for me, as usually I am touching up after a day or two (I guess I am hard on my nails) - even with OPI and similar quality polishes.

The colour is beautiful, too. Two coats is enough, and it's nice and sparkly. It is more blue than green as others have commented, but I do not pay much attention to polish names anyway.

As the other reviewers have indicated, "Watermelon Rind" is a misnomer for this shade, however I knew what it looked like when I bought it. I put it on in a hurry yesterday and applied two coats. It looks great today despite having worked in the garden. I wear my nails very short, so that means my nails are not subject to stress and bending. They look like beautiful aquamarine jewels. I am very happy with this purchase.

In the bottle Watermelon Rind is gorgeous! A shimmer packed, emerald-teal leaning on the cool side of the spectrum. It still manages to maintain a flattering color against my NW15 fair skin. Unfortunately the formula leaves much to be desired, hence I don't find myself reaching for it often.

It's very sheer, easily chipped, and I was not satisfied with the opacity level until 4 coats. Compared to other ChG I found each coat to dry slower then usual, though this could be a fluke. Overall I am not too impressed and similar colors are available in nicer formulas. Another sparkly green to check out is Orly in Meet Me Under The Mistletoe. (that one does not have a teal tone though)

I love this color! My primary green is "Grenade" by BB Couture For Men - it's a more reserved olive with metallic yellow shimmer, but this color is a lot of fun! I don't see blue in it, it's a brilliant emerald, a bit lighter (but just as intense) as the green of a duck's head. It's not the most masculine color I've worn ;) but it definitely looks great! It's almost a shame that all it's doing right now is entertaining me at home, and protecting my toenails from the harsh environment inside my workboots.... when I get to wear sandals again in April, this is the color I'll be wearing!

It is a little bit sheer - even with two coats, I can still make out the lunula and the end of the nail bed - next time I'll put it over black. I like this one enough that I'm going out to get a backup - the only other color I overstock is "Blue My Mind".

Watermelon Rind seems like a really inappropriate name for this polish. It's a dark teal, and while it has some green in it, the color reads much more blue. The shade and glass-fleck finish make for a very unique and pretty color that grabs attention. The formula is a bit on the thin side, and I need at least 3 coats for opaque coverage. It's pretty, but it's not a color that I reach for often.

This is an emraldy green with tons of sparkle. It's very christmasy I think - great for the holiday season.
Application was smooth, but it needed atleast 3 coats to reach opacity. If you're into your dark greens you'll love this one, however it's not really my thing so I wouldn't re-purchase

This is probably my favourite green. Whenever I'm wearing it I find that I'm always staring at my nails. For me, it was totally opaque in 2 coats - something I want from a nail polish unless its meant to be sheer. The application was excellent like all my other China Glaze polishes - smooth. I am looking forward to wearing this and Ruby Pumps at Christmas time :)

The colour is beautiful and great, I am wearing it right now and so is my daughter, I love it! I got one for her for her birthday, and she uses it a lot. Although the colour chips sometimes even with a base on top, for me it does. I got mine from a salon across my home.

Watermelon Rind is an amazing, metallic blue-green. In my opinion, it works for any season and would probably look great on any skin tone.
There are a couple of issues with this particular color, however they are not major enough to not wear this polish. I definitely recommend putting a layer of white underneath so that you don't need to layer on 5 or 6 coats for full opacity. And even then, it can be streaky if you're not careful. Though the pay off is completely worth it. This color is gorgeous!!

in love with this mermaid teal-beautiful shimmers, stunning effect that makes me want to stare at my nails! So glad I swapped for this, it looks so much better on than in the store. I am already a big fan of China Glaze for its smooth application ans long wear. This is one of many great multidimensional colors they sell!

This is my favorite color to sport for summer. It's such a pretty color color, a smidge complex. It's fairly easy to remove as well. I don't wear many greens but this one looks great on my NC25-30 skin tone!

I generally don't like spending more than a few dollars for nailpolish, but I'm beginning to understand why China Glaze is so popular. I've never gotten such vibrant colors or easy application out of my cheaper polishes. I was a little disappointed that the first coat of this shade was so sheer, but after applying two more coats, this is the exact shade I was expecting! It's such a gorgeous shimmering emerald green, I absolutely love it. It looks so intense on my lighter skin and I love the pop it gives to my usually dull hands. I only do my nails once a week, but I almost can't wait to remove this so that I can try another color.

I hadn't seen the color in real life before ordering it online so when I got it, I was shocked that it was so shimmery! It's a gorgeous color though. It's a mermaid-tail color definitely. Took two coats to get it opaque.

This is the first green nail polish I've tried and I love it! I don't like yellow-greens but I love teals so this is the perfect green for me. Depending on the light, the color changes -- it looks like an emerald green in sunlight, but sometimes looks more more teal / blue-green under certain indoor lighting. Most of the time it looks green with just a slight blue tone. The polish contains tons of tiny sparkles (not big chunky glitter) in a sheer base. One coat looks very sheer and streaky; two coats looks good and opaque from most angles but I might try 3 next time just to see if it looks any different. It lasts great with a good topcoat.

This was my first China Glaze nail polish, and I have to say, I'm impressed!

Packaging: Easy to hold and open, with a thin, sturdy brush that worked perfectly for painting my toenails.

Color: Not quite what I expected, since the lighting in Sally's isn't stellar (the color is true to the bottle, as it appeared at home). Like another reviewer, I was anticipating a dark turquoise, but instead, it's a rich emerald green with a multicolored shimmer.

Formula: Fairly thin, but not watery. Dries quickly, in about five minutes. It was mostly opaque in two coats, but I did three just so the shimmer showed up better.

Longevity: As a pedicure, it lasted a week without any chipping. It could have gone longer, but I got impatient and wanted to try another new color. :)

Overall, a great polish that I highly recommend!

Absolutely love it from the bottle I thought it was a dark greenish-turquoise which is why I bought it, but it turned out to be beautiful fine sparkle emerald green with the slightest blue tinge (which was way better than turquoise to me at least). I had been having a lot of problems with nail polishes being too thick lately (not this brand Sally Hansen) so the thinner formula was a breathe of fresh air. I did 2 coats which was fine but will do 3 next time for a deeper color and strong/thicker coat.

I looove this! It's a very sparkly emerald green with maybe just a teeny tiny bit of blue thrown in. I used 3 coats to make it super sparkly but it is opaque in 2. I'm not the kind of girl who strictly wears "season appropriate" polishes, but I could see this working well during all seasons.

this is a very nice opaque glitter polish, i find that it doesn't chip very easily. It is a bit more teal/turquoise than i would want (i wanted the Emerald sparkle one but it wasn't in stock), but i love it just the same.
