I'm quite surprised by this shampoo. It's supposed to be gentle, which it is, but the most noticeable effect it had on my hair was VOLUME. The scent is very nice - slightly lemony and herby, and it was kind to my sensitive scalp.
It is expensive, but it did make my hair look great - shiny, swishy and oomph. What more could you want?

the normal hair shampoo leaves the hair and scalp feeling clean and refreshed and the conditioner is light enough to do its job without weighing the hair down.i love the scent of this shampoo, i make whoever is around me smell my hair after i get out of the shower, its so fresh and beautiful

This is a mediocre shampoo that can't justify it's high price tag. The only positive thing that stood out is it's mildness. Unfortunately, the "lime, mandarin, and ginger" scent that the previous reviewer loved so much, smells to me like the harsh cheapie lemony cleansers used to clean public bathrooms. Definitely no repurchase for me.

Whether washing my hair every night or every few days Lili Pili Hair Wash is my choice. During those every night times it leaves my hair shiny, squeaky clean, and feeling healthy due to the mild conditioning ingredients. It's gentle yet effective.
When I wait a day or two the effect is the same plus that wonderful feeling of super clean hair and scalp. Light scents of green lime, mandarin and ginger always exhilarate and invigorate so I have a tendency to prolong the shampoo, enjoying the aroma and the sensations it brings.
Lili-pili is an Australian rainforest fruit rich in fruit acids and noted for its cleansing and detoxifying properties. Of course, I love the thorough cleansing but especially love the shine it leaves on my hair. My glossing spray went out the window when Lili-Pili came in the door!
