I'm a big fan of this line, overall. Most polishes last really well for the money, and the applicator brushes are actually my favorite from any maker.
This is a great, vibrant pink that looks great in summer. However, like others have pointed out, NYC has a ton of pink shades for the size of its line. This is definitely a good one to pick up, but after that, don't go too crazy or you'll have more similar shades than you know what to do with.

Awesome nail polish, especially taking into the price (2 for $3 at Walmart Canada). Not streaky, and goes on smoothly. I usually apply a base coat, then 2 coats of color and a top coat. I find that this color is a GREAT dupe for Essie's Mod Squad

Another in the seemingly endless line of NYC pinks is Greenwich Village. This one, without thinner at least, was not the best to apply and didn't settle well. It bubbled, but that was my fault- I lotioned pre-application. It's a pretty enough pink though but I've got to say this is a lot of pinks from such a relatively small line.

Went to Target to find a Spring 2012 ‘on-trend’ nail color but didn’t want to break the bank. Came across this little gem and thought I would give it a go! (Paid $1.87) I was pleasantly surprised.
The polish is very pigmented and I only needed to apply 2 coats to achieve my desired look. (Technically you would only need 1 coat but when I apply polish to my toes I always do 2 for good measure and wear ability…) The polish formula is a bit runny but I learned quickly to just wipe off a bit more excess before applying and was good to go. I would purchase this product again.

For $1.99, this polish is a hidden gem for pink lovers. It is a vivid hot pink creme--there is NO shimmer, as a previous (unsatisfied) reviewer stated, I suspect she might be referring to another color which does not have as perfect a formula.
Greenwich Village applies like a dream and is very pigmented. It can be opaque at one coat, depending on how heavy handed you are with your polish brush, but the most you will need with this polish is two.
Overall definitely worth at least a try--at two bucks, you have little to lose.

I was looking for the perfect color to satisfy my hot pink polish craving and Greenwich Village was it. I picked this polish simply for the color, and to my amazement, it's a great polish that really does dry quickly and lasts as long as OPI or Revlon polishes and is so inexpensive! If you are looking for a show-stopping hot pink, then look no further, you can't afford not to try this!

Yes please, this is my kind of colour! Bold and hot pink! Perfect for the summer. (Greenwich Village makes it sound like it's green, but no it is definitely pink.) It dries quickly, yes. It applies evenly, yes I'd say so. Seems to last a fair length of time before chipping. I just gotta say, it is a really runny consistency... the first time I put it on my big toe, it ran down my foot and onto the carpet. (Oops sorry mom!) I'm not very "pro" at painting nails by any means, so maybe this has something to do with it... but anyway, NYC is good in my books because they do not test on animals. It's cheap too! (Under $2 Canadian). I will re-purchase.

Bright, bold color, dries quickly (as promised) and cheap. The brush was a good size for me, I was able to use it to easily apply (I have fairly small nails). One coat was actually enough for most of my nails, sometimes it was a bit thin and needed two. Only worn it for one day so I can't speak to its wearability, but even if it sucks, whatever. Still cute for one day. :)

This polish is a gorgeous fuschia pink that is pretty warm-toned and definitely a flashy, fun, and bold colour. It is great quality - smooth, not thick and gloopy and not streaky. I love fast-dry polishes but they tend to chip fast. Not this one! All for $1! I will definitely repurchase.

I love this! It's a nice hot pink, not neon, and doesn't look too childish or "Barbie". The color is smooth and even. To my surprise, this polish is fairly long-lasting (even without a topcoat!). I managed to go about 4 days without it chipping. It's about $1.75 at Target, but the bottle is a little small.

This is the best hot pink cream I've ever used! It wears well and covers in one coat. It's been my staple pedi color all summer! While the product size is small, I keep my nails super short and never stick with a color long enough to use a whole bottle. For the price, it's amazing!

Been wearing this polish for five days now and it's wearing like iron! I was pleasantly surprised by the nice flat brush that I would have never expected to find in a "cheapie" polish such as this! Application was a breeze. Was nearly opaque in one coat, with two coats it is perfect! (Maybe the other reviewer who found it to be not opaque just had a bad bottle?)
I'm looking forward to a trip to Target to pick up some more colors of this awesome line! What an improvement over their regular line of polishes!!!

Complete disappointment. I'm a huge fan of Sally Hansen which is part of the same company as NYC, so I'm at a loss as to how they could make such a crappy product. It looks great in the bottle (hot shimmery pink) but three coats were not opaque! Even at $1.99 it's a rip off. I'm so sad they discontinued the Glossies for this line. Even the bottles are smaller.

Was worried about the quality/staying power, but it's been great for 3 days! Greenwich Village is a bright hot pink, perfect for spring, and so so cheap. I was lingering over the new Sally Hanson Salon polishes and found this right next to them for less than half-price. Smaller bottle, nice wide brush (but not too wide). Dries fast.
