One of my favourite body butters from the Body Shop. The scent is nice & sweet but not overpowering. I like this especially because the scent lasts several hours after applying - some other scents fade very quickly. Also makes my skin feel soft & smooth.

This product is now discontinued in UK so I got two of them in a Body Shop Clearance store for £4.50 each inc. my member discount.

It is lovely and thick and smells like cherry sweeties (Chewits, Jolly Ranchers perhaps). You can smell it on yourself for quite a while afterwards. Its easy to use and melts onto your skin and is easy to rub in.
It makes the skin very soft.

Buy while you can!!

I love The Body Shop's body butters. They are super moisturizing and leave my skin so soft. This was a part of the three mini body butter package that I got for a gift. I took one lippie off because the scent isn't too pleasant to be but it's not horrible either. It's just like all the other body butters from the Body Shop.

It has a delicious cherry yoghurt scent that stole my heart when I first bought it.
Now the good thing is it lasts forever. The jar is really huge. It does moisturize and the scent stays on for a good few hours. Sometimes a bit longer. I guess it depends on the weather.
From the negative side I'd say it's rather hard to put on evenly though works better if my skin is still wet. And I really don't like the jar much, very unhygienic. I think they should sell the small sizes as well (at least my local TBS doesn't), that would help with the hygiene issues as well.
For me points go down for the packaging and the hefty pricetag.

It is very smooth and moisturising. Spreads and absorbs fairly well for winter - way too rich for summer though. The smell is a bit strong and I don't like the fact that it contains silicone ingredients quite high on the list.

It has really strong cherry smell that I do not like. I really wanted to purchase this until I realized I want something else. My favorites still is Moringa and Lemon.

I sometimes find that the Wild Cherry Body Butter is often overlooked when compared to the other body butters. Either because of better, more appealing scents or simply because it doesn't offer the super moisturizing qualities of Coconut or Shea butters. But Wild Cherry is not to be dismissed so easily.

It's aimed towards Normal to Dry Skin - which suits my skin perfectly during the Summer. I need something heavier during the Winter. Apart from Japanese Cherry Blossom, it's the only one I'll use during those hot, long months.

It has an energizing, tart scent which absorbs nicely into the skin. It's creamy, leaves your skin amazingly soft and lasts all day.

I really like this. It does a great job on my skin. I agree with other reviewers, the fragrance is something like hard candy, not cherry, but I actually like that. It's fun. The only reason I wouldn't repurchase is because there's at least four fragrances of BB I like better.

I found the scent of this Body Butter too strong. It was sweet but not very appealing. The consistency is just fine, like a thicker version of lotion. This Body Butter was on sale for about $8 but I'd rather buy other variants (such as Mango, which has been my ultimate favorite).

This body butter is way too greasy. And the cherry smell is too intensive. There are better body butters from The Body Shop. This is not the best one. During winter it's ok to use it due to dry skin, but in summer.. no.

Wild Cherry is one of the Body Butter scents from The Body Shop. I am not loving the candy like scent. It's very synthetic like and maybe a bit strong. However, I am a big fan of the Body Butters in general. They are very moisturizing and I love the creamy texture (which makes them easy to apply), definitely a must-have in my bathroom. I will definitely keep buying body butters in the future but not this particular scent.

I bought this product while it was on sale at a local Body Shop , I'm really glad i picked it up. It was $5.00 for the small 1.76 oz tub and i really feel like it was a good deal. I like the smell for the most part but i really like the consistency. It's thick and feels moisturizing while it doesn't leave my hands/arms/legs greasy for a long time.

Not sure how anyone can think this scent resembles real fresh cherries?! It has a synthetic cherry chapstick smell. I didnt like it and back it went to the store.

I love the tart, natural scent of this body butter. This has a consistency more like lotion, which is fine with me. Easy to layer with other fragrances too.

I picked up a small tub of the Cherry body butter when i was buying presents for others. I wanted to try it out, seems how cherry stuff hasnt been too popular with body lines lately and it caught my eye. Welllll... it definitly is a true cherry smell. If you are looking for a sweet candy tart cherry scent, this is NOT it. This is a very realistic mellow cherry smell. As if the actual chopped up fruit was right in front of your nose. Not very sweet smelling like the strawberry Body Shop fragrance - more of a true cherry. I love the consistancy of the butter itself. Its very creamy and 'slick' if that makes any sense. Its not a very dense butter, but more of a runny butter. I love they way it feels and soaks in very nicely. Doesnt leave any stickyness or grimyness like other butters do. Over all i really like it, the smell is a bit weird at times but good other than that.

This product does really smell like what it claims to be..e.g. cherry body butter smells like cherry..

It has a smooth consistansy and you don't need alot for it to spread. I personally get REALLY dry when it comes to winter time so a body butter is a MUST!! For those who are extremely dry you might have to realpply or add olay's quench therepy over it. It really isnt the BEST moisturizer but it is quite decent.
I personally wouldn't bath and body just because their scents always make me either dizzy or have a headache.
I have tried other body butters...victoria secret..bliss..sephora...luxnaturals.com
This body butter is definetly one of the best along with body butters from luxnaturals.com.

The body butter doesn't leave the scent on for hours but there is a nice scent left over for..10-15 min..
It definetly can be greasy and it might be a little-really sticky depending on how much you apply . but overal..it's a happy purchase^^

Check out my notepad to read a more detailed explanation of my body skin type!

What it Claims:
"An intensive, creamy and fragrant all-over moisturizer enriched with tantalizing wild cherry oil. Absorbs easily into the skin to condition and soften. Leaves skin delicately fragranced with a light fresh cherry fragrance. Provides moisturization that lasts up to 24 hours."

Claims - True or False?
1) Absorbs easily: True and false. It takes a long time to absorb, but once it does there is no real noticeable residue left on the skin.
2) Condition and softens: True. Works great on dry and normal skin to add hydration.
3) Lasts up to 24 hours: True. I've been applying this to my legs almost nightly, and I find that during the day I rarely feel the need to apply moisturizer.

Packaging:
Comes in a plastic tub with a very elegant and pretty label. The colours match up with the fragrance and is overall practical and aesthetically pleasing. Easy for travel as well.

Smell:
I do not know if different types of cherries have different scents, but I definitely recognize the cherry in this body butter. In the tub it's not too strong, but on the skin it does linger and can be quite strong. I find that on my skin, it does smell more artificial than I'd like, but it does not smell offensive in any way.

Consistency:
I would put the consistency at being an average thickness, not being too thin or too thick. It is on the thinner side, so it can be spread on larger areas without using too much product. While it is a little thin, it does remain greasy on the skin for even up to an hour, which means that I rarely apply it in the morning, but only at night.

Ease of Use:
As it isn't too thick or thin, it is easy to control and easy to spread out over larger areas of the body. Because of how greasy it is, it's a little hard to rub in completely unless you are okay with leaving it greasy after rubbing in for a few seconds. Tub opens and closes without issue, although might be harder to open if lotion gets onto the lid and makes it slippery.

Bang for your Buck:
I definitely think that this product should be priced better, but as an occasional purchase, I don't think that the price is that bad. I use it only at night on my arms, legs and stomach (as well as my shoulders and back if I can reach) and after almost 1 month of use, I'd used up about 1/3 of the product. So, I'd say that with regular use, it would last 3 months on average. At $20.00 for 200ml, I think that it's a slight rip off, but a nice indulgence either way.

Final Consensus:
While the scent may not be my favourite, I do love how moisturized it leaves my skin and how easy it is to use. I wish it came in a larger tub or at a cheaper price. It leaves my skin feeling fantastic, it's a nice refreshing treat before bed, and it's definitely something I will repurchase and will go into my rotation along with my other body lotions.

Oh my goodness. I generally don't like fruity scents but this scent is amazing. It smells almost exactly like cherry yogurt, but fresher and with yogurt-y. It's decently moisturizing too. I use it off and on with my Vitamin E body butter (which is extremely moisturizing). I will definitely repurchase.

I received this as a gift and I really like this scent. It is very subtle and my husband said I smelled "fruity", and good. So, I took it as a compliment. The body butter is very moisturizing, and I like to use it on my feet because they get soo dry. Last but not least, be sure to rub excess body butter on the sleeves of your pajamas. You will be glad you did...

I am really surprised by this body butter. Usually i need a lot to cover my whole body. You need just a really tiny bit with this one because it's so creamy and silky. It moisturises my skin perfectly! The smell is really nice but not to heavy. Love it!
