I bought this after the Sugar Sweet collection came out. I didn't get anything else from the collection because it seemed too pastel for my tastes. They only had a handful left so I am glad I picked this up.

I have a bunch of Shade Sticks, but this one is the best in terms of application. It goes on so smooth and I find it is easy to blend out. It dries fast as well. This seems to have a creamier texture than the rest of the shade sticks so I think it is a different formula. It does look a little like the Crimson Shade Stick but it is a little more pink. There is also no glitter or frost to it.

I really like using this with purples or pinks. Also, Young Punk MES applied wet over the top is really awesome, with a little bit of Stars N' Rockets, it is really amazing.

I am glad I picked this up and it is going to suck when it runs out!!

I just added this to my Shadestick Collection from the Sugarsweet Collection 2009.I didnt have a pink color, this is very nice as a base or just by itself.I will have plenty of colors to play with, when it comes to layering and as a base.It gives a very nice shine or fluff it out and it turns into a blended soft color.You can use rich shades like Cranberry or brighter shades like Lotusland.You have a great selection since Mac offers so many pink like shades, I even like to use the Pigments as well, especially Fuchsia Pigment.

This is a great shadestick as a base or worn alone.

I generally wear this stars and rockets and I love the outcome! It realy makes that color pop.

it's a tad difficult to blend, but otherwise, no other complaints.

I also have lemon chiffon, but will end up returning it.

I actually wasn't going to buy this s/s but I changed my mind and I'm very glad I did. This s/s has the best application out of any s/s I have ever tried, very even and smooth. I don't think I'll be using it as often as my other ones but when I do I'll be happy to do so. I'm looking forward to seeing what certain colours look like on top of this s/s. If anyone has any good recs, please PM me. :)

RV is my very 1st mac shadestick and I'm really impressed! I cannot compare the quality of this new formula to the other ones, but I hear that it is better!! Out of all the shadesticks from the SS collection this one is the most unique and has the least amount of shimmer, which I like. I don't like my e/s bases to be too shimmery. I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a base for reds, pinks or even purples :) So glad I I have this ♥

Awesome! Lovely deep pink (reminds me of Budding Beauty e/s that came out as a part of '06's Deja Rose collection. Sushi Flower is also similar) with great staying power and good texture. I've used shadesticks before and more often than not have been disappointed by how difficult they can be to apply. Most of the ones I've tried in the past (including other shadesticks released with Sugarsweet) have a tendency to drag and skip when I try to use them on the lid which leads to really uneven pigmentation and means that I couldn't use them as anything other than a base. Not so with this one! It glides on smoothly and evenly. It has some shimmer to it, but not much. Would work great as a base for pinks or reds.

***Updated: 3-23-09 ***Red Velvet Shadestick from the sugarsweet collection is a very pretty mid tone pink color that looks great on my NC43 skintone. When applying red velvet it does not glide on smoothly, but it is very pigmented. This SS like all the other shadesticks can be difficult to work with and to blend. Shadesticks (SS) require a little extra time in your morning routine to get this just right. The color does lasts throughout the day. I used MAC prep+prime eye.

Great base for pinks reds and purples i love using pink pearl pigment or stars and rockets with this shadestick. it is shimmery and works really well to get your pigments/ eyeshadows to stick and stay.

I really am happy that I got this one! Its very pretty and I will use it lot! This is a perfect mid tone pink for me and not too shimmery its more of a velvet texture. I also got cakeshop but its too glittery and not very good for a base for other colors will prolly return for lemon chiffon
