NYX Eyeshadow Trio #13 contains the shadows Cherry - a red pink, Cool Blue - a sky blue, and Hot Pink - a medium blue based pink. I purchased this trio at Ulta for $7.99. The price feels a little high to me, but its cheaper than buying three NYX singles, so I guess its a good deal. The packaging on this is a basic black case with a small window that shows the top half of the shadows. I think it looks pretty sleek. There’s a decent sized mirror on the inside. The packaging says “Triple Shadows for Sexy Babe’s Eyes Only.” I guess they’re referring to me? I think it sounds weird and looks like something you’d find on Engrish Funny. They are pretty good shadows, but not quite at the quality level I expect from NYX. They’re not as soft and buttery as my other NYX shadows. They’re borderline powdery. Color payoff is good for Cherry and Cool Blue. Hot pink however, is very sheer. It takes a lot of work to get it to show up. Wear time is good, I get about 7 hours before fading occurs. I have no creasing issues. Application is easy. The shades are blendable and work well together. They don’t product any noticeable fallout. You’ll really have to pack Hot Pink on to get it to work though. While these colors work well together, I have a really hard time coming up with looks for this trio, so I don’t get a lot of use from this. While these shadows aren’t quite up to to par with NYX’s usual quality, these are still pretty good. I recommend this trio if you’re creative, like unexpected color combinations, and enjoy bold eye looks.

Overall I like the quality of these eyeshadows, they are very smooth abd pigmented. Its just that for myself, I think it was a stupid purchase because I never wear them! They are bright colours and I couldnt figure out how to wear them together.. perhaps I will try the look in the picture here.

I really love the hot pink color, that was my reason for this purchase. The shimmer blue color looks silver on me, which is fine because its a lovely color. The matte medium pink does not even show up on me. This palette shadows is hit and miss. I have posted 2 pictures.

I actually like wearing this color combo together and the way I wore it is shown on the picture up top. Cherry is a bright hot pink. Cool blue is a very light white blue. Hot pink is a very sheer medium pink. The pigmentation is not too great on this trio overall. Cherry is the most decently pigmented out of the three. Cool blue is chalky and I have to pack it on to get it to look like that on the pic. Hot pink is very sheer even after packing it on its quite hard on the pan, not buttery like the typical NYX singles. I find all three colors to be very blendable though. Doesn't crease and it stays on okay.

I purchased this for the cherry shade.
In fact, it's still the only shade I really liked in this trio...

I don't find that the cool blue shade has a very well color payoff, and it was rather chalky.

The two pinks were okay to be used together, but all in all, this palette's "brights" really weren't worth buying.

There are much better quality colors and products in the singles line.

I got this at $10 CDN from SOF.

Now that I look back on this purchase, it probably wasn't the best choice.... I don't wear these enough to have justified it. Also, I find these to be more powdery and chalky than other NYX shadows I own (both in the trios and single) The blue is VERY pale, not enough pigmentation. I have to wear a white base under it to actually be able to bring out the blue. The light pink (laughably being called "hot pink"...looks more like baby pink to me) is also very sheer, but still a step up from the blue. The cherry color (which actually just looks hot pink, not a red like you would think from the name) is decent pigmentation..nothing to call home about though. Overall, I'm just not impressed with these. I NEVER pull this out ...or hardly, I should say....to wear. I have so many other pinks and blues that just out do these by a long shot. Would I repurchase? No

Waste of money! I bought this at Ulta for $8 thinking they would be great colors and supposedly a dupe for some of MAC's LE that I missed out on. I used UDPP as a base and they went on okay after some work, but after about an hour the color was completely gone! So overall, they are hard to blend, and the color does NOT last. They are very pigmented, pretty colors which is why they get a 2 instead of a 1. Don't waste your money on these trios though. The color doesn't last!

I really love this product. It was around 8 bucks at ulta, but you get 3 shadows, so under $3 a color isn't bad at all in my opinon. I have used hot pink a few times now and the cherry once and I know I am going to be using this alot more now since spring is here and summer is right around the corner. The colors are perfect as stand alone or blended to make a really nice pop to your eyes.. i used "ulta lip gloss in bliss" when using the pinks and it looks so great together. I have not tried the blue yet, but swatched it and it looks like it is going to be almost true to color, maybe a little more sheer than the pot suggests, but it looks really nice just the same. If someone is looking for bright fun colors to try, this is a nice little collection to get.
