Definately a "my lips but better" shade! A perfect compliment to a done-up eye...or a no-makeup type day! Love the buildable color, the glossy finish, and the LACK of sparkle! Very pretty shade! Perfect for year round application!

(What a funny name - sounds like a bone!) I like the Aqualumieres for their smooth texture, sheerness, and beautiful colors. Ischia is one of my favorites and is in my handbag right now because it can make me look good fast. I'd have given it 5 stars, but it doesn't last long at all - slippery, comfy lipsticks generally don't. To me the color is a pinky-purply medium tone, which is the kind of color that works best on me! Of course there is the option of putting it on more lightly or more heavily to have more or less color. The Aqualumieres are almost just glosses.

This is a really nice shade. I don't wear a lot of lipsticks anymore as I'm trying to lighten up a bit since I turned 40. This is a sheer blush flush sort of shade with depth because of the slight shimmer. I like that I can wear it multiple ways-- straight out of the tube, blotted as a stain, or blotted with gloss. This seems to work really well with a lot of my glosses. Great hit for spring and through the summer I'm sure. Now that I think of it, it might be an all-season winner.

I am a huge fan of the Aqualumieres. I love sheer lipsticks because my lips are thin and not very pigmented. I also like that these have SPF 15. Ischia is part of the 2009 Cote de azur colors. It is named for an Italian island in the Mediteranean (where my mother's family is from!). On my hand it looked a bit too purply but on it is a great MLBB. It is a pinky mauve with little shimmer. (I'm not a big fan of shimmer).
