I really lingered at the "Would you buy this again." before finally deciding no.. I purchased my first one at the suggestion of a friend as a sort of top coat on the brow bone for going out looks. It worked well as that, as this was the white powder put over MAC Vanilla pigment. The shimmers are very fine. I surely don't find them pigmented enough to be a lid shadow though a soft dusting is beautiful.

The packaging is agreeably clumsy. It's aesthetically pleasing, but the lid isn't the best, it doesn't close very well, and can make a slight mess. I think the price is decent considering the amount of product packed into the container. I feel it's not meant to be used as an all over colour anyways.

For reference, I do not apply this with a brush. I would simply take a clean finger and grab the excess powder at the top and lightly tap a tiny bit on my brow bone and occasionally near my inner eye corner to brighten up my eyes.. (Be careful doing that, you don't want to scratch your corneas!)

I would not repurchase because the two colours I do have will probably last me a fairly long while. And by the time I run out I may have found something in a more conveniently designed package!

So I really like the idea of this shimmer powder eye shadow. And the pots they come in are very attractive to the eye. I love that the bottoms are glass and you can see the colour.

Pros:
- Vibrant colours.
- Sleek container design.
- Lots of colour choices.

Cons:
- Colours aren't as pigmented as they look in the pots.
- The pots are small and can get kinda messy if you're not careful.
- Doesn't blend well.
- It's difficult to control the amount of product on your brush. It all tends to tap off, instead of just a bit. It works alright if you blow some off, but I hate doing that because I end up wasting so much product.
- Not nearly as shimmery on as they are in the pot. (I like shimmery shadows.)
- They apply a little better if you dip your brush in water first, but I only have 1 brush for eye shadow. I like to use it for all the colours so they blend together seamlessly. And if I wet it to get the GOSH to pick up enough product, and blend well-ish, then I end up with a wet sticky brush and can't finish applying my other shadows on top.

Unless I can find a better trick to get vibrant colours, without wetting my brushes, I won't be buying these again. I've found through experimentation that I don't really like loose powder as eye shadows, so I may stick to pressed compacts from now on.

I quite like these effect powder. I have 4 of em, I only got the colors I'd actually use. Although it's really tempting to collect em all =D The jars are really cute, bit expensive I say but got em with buy one get one free deal. So that's ok =) But without any deal, I wouldnt buy these as I think they're quite expensive. The colors are enough pigmented IMO. Not too much but also not too less. Just perfect and longlasting. And if you use it wet, they're even more pigmented =)

Great dazzling pigment powder - with much less fall-out than other pigments I have tried. I have 8 and I use at least one of them once a week. Beautiful colours.

I had 2 of these, but I didn't really like them. I don't like the packaging. The little flap over the sifter is so flimsy and breaks really easily. It's hard to get the right amount of product out of these things without making a mess. I had the colours Rose Gold and Pineapple. I much prefer regular eye shadow over these kinds of loose pigments.

GOSH pigments are amazing. Very soft and finely milled, well packaged, and gorgeous shades. Much less fall-out than my MAC pigments. Unfortunately they are pretty expensive for such a small pot.

I have three of these (rose gold, sky and sea me) and they're all quite nice! Quality is not totally consistent but very good in all of them. These tend to be quite glittery and are generally very pigmented and not too difficult to work with. They foil well, and can also just be pressed on, or depending on the colour, can be used as a blush or a highlight!

Packaging is fantastic for these. I wish all loose powders came packaged like these! After you unscrew the lid, there is another lid that can either be flipped open to access a sifter-type thing that lets you get just a bit of product out or the whole thing can be completely removed to really load your brush up! Really really nice for travelling especially.

I just ADORE the packaging.. Butttt.. Really don't like how it applies.. To me.. I'd rather pay 10$ more n get professional, more pigmented mac pigment.

I love these, they are really cute and easy to work with, you can apply them dry for softer looks and wet for intense color (some even have really pretty metalic colours). They are definatly worth buying!

I love these little jars, I have ALL but the very sought after Deep Sea (in Denmark it is, at least - it's going for 350DKK, equals something like 60 USD!!!), and that makes my collection kinda big.. I have 101, soooo I have a lot of Effect Powder to play around with :)
It's almost like MAC pigment, but in smaller jars and the color payoff is a little less than the MAC pigments - BUT there's a hell of a lot different textures of all these babies, so it really varies :)

They are definately the cutest little jars with eyeshadow/highlighter/blush/whatever-you-want-to-it-them-for, so go get some :D:D:D
