I'm a convert! Used in very tiny amounts, and thoroughly massaged into my cuticles, fingers, and elbows, this is very nice. I am using it while I work (mostly on the computer) and at bedtime. The ingredients are all natural and it smells sweet. It will last a long time, so I think the price is fine.

The previous reviewer who noted that this is basically petroluem jelly with a lot of oil suspended in it is right on. It's not creamy or balm-like in the least. It also doesn't absorb very well, just kinda sits on the surface. On the upside, the oils in this leave your nails nice and shiny, whereas a cream or lotion usually dulls them somewhat, so if you're going out and about or taking photos of your hands after a mani you may prefer this. Also, the smell is great, just like a super juicy mango. But overall I'm not too impressed, then again I'm not much of a cuticle/hand oil kind of person anyway.

This stuff is so awesome. Usually when I use pure acetone to clean up after painting my nails the skin around them starts peeling the next day. I slathered Mango Mend on before bed and not only did I not have peeling skin, but my hands were so soft. The packaging isn't that great. For this type of product I prefer it to be in a tube. I fixed the packaging problem by putting it into a squeeze tube I got where you get travel size products. It makes it easier to get a dab for cuticles. I love the way it smells and the way it makes my hands feel. I will defenatly be buying this again. It has become a staple in my nail care routine.

I'm so glad I got a trail size tube on clearance because this stuff is so greasy! It never absorbs completely. Hours later I can rub my hands or feet and feel a greasy coating. I put on the tiniest amount and spread it really thin - so much so that I'm tugging on my skin to leave the smallest amount possible. And still it feels greasy. It helps my skin look nice until I wash my hands but then my hands look as dry as ever. It just doesn't have any lasting effect. The smell is sort of strange as well. At first it smells sweet and fruity but after a while it gets an odd odor to it. From now on I'm only using it on my feet before I go out in sandals.

First the good stuff: this balm smells very good. It is also very hydrating and easy to apply
The bad: it leaves your hand with an oily/slick finish yuck! I also hate the tub packaging... I have to dig it out and it always gets stuck under my finger nails...
Overall I would not buy this product again. There are much better alternatives (like California Mango Extreme and Lush Lemony Flutter).

Well it appears that MY cutes don't like this product :-( When I first purchased it I gave it a trial run for a few days, then noticed that my the skin around my nails begain peeling badly so I put it away. I continued on with my usual cuticle treatment, but in an effort to use up my stash, I retrieved it last week for another trial run. Again, the skin around my nails thinned and began peeling. I am tempted to continue a few more days to see if this may just be an initial phase to induce healing, but I am disconcerted that my cutes were originally hang-nail free before using this, and now I have painful and unattractive hangnails. If I didn't know any better I'd think it was an exfoliator or AHA with all this peeling going on.

Great for my hands, great for my feet. Just plain horrible for my cuticles. This is just petroleum jelly with a bunch of extra oils mixed in. And petroleum jelly works a whole lot better, as it actually moisturizes my cuticles, and I am not afraid to put it on my face if I know i need to look great the next day. Did I mention petroleum jelly is cheaper. This costs $7.50 at sally's for a small 5oz jar. A big tub of Vaseline can cost $2-3 bucks, and is not as greasy believe it or not. I will not be buying this again because I realized I can save more just staying with the tried and true.

I love this stuff! Nothing moisturizes my dry cuticles better than this stuff. I've been using this for years and there really is nothing like it. The only con is that it takes a while to absorb and everything that you touch for a few minutes afterwards is left with a greasy residue, which is why I like to apply this at night right before I go to bed. I wake up with fresh soft hands that last all day. I will continue to repurchase this forever and ever or as long as they keep making it!

I'm just not convinced. I've been using Mango mend for a while, at least once a day, and I'm still have trouble with dry, rough, cracked cuticles. It may temporarily make your cuticles look moisturized and pretty, but I am not sure of the long term effects/benefits of using it. Maybe I just have monster bad cuticles :( I am disappoint.

I love this stuff. It makes your cuticles and nails so moisturized. It's non greasy. It's gotta nice smell like a tanning lotion. I keep it in my purse so I can use it when my cuticles start looking dry. It definitely makes your hands prettier.

This stuff is pretty amazing. Keeps my cuticles in check and makes my hands so soft. I smear it on my cuticles after a manicure and before bed, then use St. Ives Intensive Repair lotion all over. Like buttah.

I purchased this on a whim at the checkout at Sally's over a month ago. I know someone had recommended it to me for my horrible cuticles, I just never got around to picking it up until then. I got the little tube, the .5oz sample size. I definitely wanna pick up the bigger size when I run out i'm just weird about putting my hands into a big tub like that...
My favorite part honestly has to be the smell, i'm in love! I love the sent, it's citrusy, and just lovely. I have oily skin so anything that is thick and greasy takes sometime to sink into my skin. With that being said, I find that it takes almost 20 mins for this stuff to absorb into my cuticles. I keep the little tube on my coffee table then at night when i'm watching TV or online I put a tiny little bit on each finger and rub it in. Then by the time it's time to head to bed, it's fully absorbed.
I do agree with others that you need to continuously use this product. Using it now and then won't help much, you'll see results then your cuticles will go back to being super dry again.

I picked up a tube of this on a whim at the register at Sally's. I've used and like the cuticle oil, but this balm is far superior. It is able to do in a day or two what would take a week with oil. It can be oily, but if used sparsely and rubbed in it's not too bad on the cuticles. Not a all over hand cream, but might work to make a sugar scrub. I will buy the tub later, but like the tube for my handbag.

This is an HG cuticle moisturizer and is all natural. I bought the tube so the application is great. I love the scent which reminds me of summers at a CA beach. This gel works great for my finger and toe cuticles in the summertime. Its chockful of essential oils and absorbs very quickly. You only need a small amount so the tube will last a while. During the winter I need something a bit creamier so I use Earth Therapeutics Nail + Cuticle Care (see my review).

The thing i love about this is the DIVINE smell - slightly fruity but not overpowering. It has a greasy texture and you need to rub it in (very sparingly) and let it soak or else everything you touch will get oily. I got this about 2 weeks ago and i used it religiously for about 1.5 weeks and i noticed my cuticles were healing. However i got lazy and stopped using it for a couple of days and my cuticles started cracking again.
Bottom line: Smells great and helps cuticle dryness, but you have to use it every day. Will repurchase!
Edit: I tried using it as a hand moisturizer. It didn't moisturize as well as other lotions/creams I've tried, AND I noticed small bumps starting to appear on the back of my hands. As soon as I stopped using this on my hands the bumps went away.
As a cuticle treatment this is AWESOME, but I won't use this on my hands.

I love this stuff. My nails and cuticles have been horribly neglected and abused for many years and I have recently started taking care of them, and my cuticles love this stuff. This stuff plus Blue Cross Cuticle Remover and a little pushback and your nails will look amazing in less than five minutes. Holy grail.

I have been using this product for almost a year now and I cannot get enough of it. For a chronic hand washer this stuff is a dream. I live in a dry climate and my skin is constantly taking a beating. I apply this daily before bed and my cuticles (especially around my thumbs) look great in the morning!

Amazing product for repairing dry cuticles! I received this in a small gift set from my sister-in-law who picked it up at Sally's Beauty Supply.

This stuff is a godsend. I have grossly dry, overwashed hands with cuticles that go through cycles of care and tragic neglect. I've tried numerous products for both issues and had settled on the combo of Burt's Bees cuticle balm + Aquaphor at bedtime. But the whole reason I find I go to bed is because I'm, you know, tired, and the two step process pretty quickly falls out of favor until my hands once again become a wreck. I clearly needed something easier, that I could stick to, for sustained results. Enter Mango Mend. The consistency is a thick gel which emulsifies pretty quickly, making it very easy to spread. Stays greasy for a few moments, but sinks in far faster than its initial consistency would suggest. Instantly softens and relieves that horrible tight, dry feeling on my hands, and allows me to gently push back cuticles with my fingertips. Every night before bed I scrub my hands with the Mango Buff, then apply a pea-sized scoop of Mango Mend to my hands, followed by another pea-sized scoop concentrated on my cuticles for massage. It takes about 30 seconds, smells great, isn't greasy, has a fabulous texture which makes it a pleasurable experience rather than a chore, and it WORKS. Better than the Burt's Bees + Aquaphor. My hands were instantly improved, and my cuticles started to look drastically better within 2-3 days of regular use. As mentioned, you really need very little, making the larger tub a great value. Will recommend, and will definitely repurchase.

I'd but this again - but this one container will likely last a VERY long time! You only need the smallest amount - a little goes a LONG way. The consistency is like the weight of a gel-balm, but isn't sticky and doesn't have the slick feel of a gel, it feels more like a balm.
This smells great - fresh like a citrus mango. I think that both men and women would be OK with this scent.
I used this for a few nights and started to notice my cuticles turning around. I also used this on the cuticles on my toes - even those get dry (go figure).
A price for the big jar was $7.99 at Sally Beauty. They also sell the sample ones, but it's $3.99 for .5 oz. The large jar is 4 oz - so you only get 1/8 the product for half as much - I rec getting the big one due to that. You can sample some out to friends/family/co-workers because this WILL take forever to get through! :) EDIT: just wanted to mention that this is officially saving my cuticles, both on feet and hands! I've also been using this on my heels and just all over my feet and they are happy and soft!
