I've had a strange experience with this product. Long story short, I bought it a few months ago and began using it during a period of high humidity here in Arizona (Monsoon Season). I was fairly pleased for the most part, I never had any problems with irritation or breakouts, but as soon as the humidity dropped I started having other issues. I honestly have NO idea why humidity made such a difference, but it did.
At this point, whenever I use this moisturizer it feels/looks greasy and unpleasant. It also turns my foundation (both liquid & mineral powder - same results) into a cakey, streaky mess. It's taken me a while to realize that this is the cause of that, and once I checked the ingredients I think I've figured out why. The second ingredient is mineral oil. That's definitely not a good thing, considering my oily t-zone. In the future I'm going to be quite a bit more diligent about checking the list of ingredients before I buy.
I've had good luck with some of the other Boots products, but this one just isn't right for me. I will not repurchase.

I bought this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I found this at Target for $5. I have very dry, sensitive skin and was looking for a daily moisturizer. I tend to wear hydrating makeup so I wasn't looking for a super heavy moisturizer. This goes on easily and I feel no sting or irritation. It's light weight and hydrates just enough all day. I have to use a richer oil at night. If I forget and use this at night, my skin is a bit dry the next day.
This has no smell, kind of a thin runnier texture, and is a great base for makeup. I swear it's better than the yellow Clinique moisturizer, which worked great but left little while bumps on my face with continued use. I appreciate it has no sunscreen because that tends to irritate my skin and eyes.
I will definitely buy again and try more boots products!

This moisturizer is my HG for my combination (oily AND dehydrated), very acne-prone skin. It's a bland, fragrance-free moisturizer with a liquid texture. I use it morning and night and it keeps my skin hydrated and flake-free, and best of all, it doesn't break me out! I also like to use it as a buffer for retinoids or benzoyl peroxide, because it allows those medications to penetrate my skin while lessening irritation. I do hate the bottle, but the low price and effectiveness more than makes up for it. If you have acne-prone skin that doesn't mind mineral oil, this one is definitely worth a try.

I have to say that I do not have acne-prone skin, or anything remotely sensitive like rosacea (which my mom has). I am just a student who works part time and has a limited budget for skin care products.

But after trolling the local Target (fortunately the same place I work) with my mom, I came across this. (We were conveniently talking about using moisturizer after washing our faces). I was tired of paying ridiculous sums of money for moisturizers like 8 dollars for a tiny tube that may last less than 6 months. Unlike most brands and their concoctions of moisturizer, this was inexpensive and a brand that I have been meaning to try for some time now.

It goes on smooth and is easy to spread on my face, which makes me feel like I don't need to glob it on to cover all my areas. It is scentless which is a plus, I dislike having strange smells on my face after utilizing my green tea face wash from St Ives and toner from Olay.

I have found that it doesn't make my face silky smooth like my older moisturizers like St. Ives. But rather soft and placid.

However the cons to this product is the packaging. The bottle is ok, but the method in which you extract the moisturizer is terrible. It comes out rather quickly if you don't watch out, and in large quantity

And that after I use my toner that it stings just a hair on my cheeks. Which is bearable but might become a nuisance later on when I continuously wash my face and make up off.

I will use this product until it is all gone and perhaps buy it again :)

This product is very light and didn't have anything that directly seemed to irritate my skin. However, it didn't also *do* anything. My t-zone was still oily, and my cheeks were still dry. If it works, it is a great deal for the money, but I ended up throwing it out.

Wow, wow, wow! I LOVE this lotion!! I've tried a bunch of other lotions before but they always made my face way too oily or it made me break out like crazy. I was at my local Target one day and spotted this on the self -- thought to myself, why not? It's a big bottle and only for about $6! Best decision ever. I bought this lotion almost a year ago and I still have a good amount left, after daily use too! It's a very light lotion with no scent and melts into your skin pretty quickly without that greasy feeling you usually get after applying lotion. BEST OF ALL, it doesn't break me out! I will definitely repurchase this over and over again.

I love this moisturizer! I have searched high and low for the perfect product to keep my combo skin hydrated but not overly greasy, and had little luck in the past. This stuff is seriously wonderful. I love that it smells like aloe and that's it -- no harsh perfumes or dyes to irritate your skin or eyeballs. It has never caused me to have any huge breakouts (that I know of) and I've never had any real irritation from it either. It's formula is a little watery, which I prefer, and absorbs into my skin quickly and completely; there's no trouble putting it under my foundation in the morning. The cost is superb -- five bucks! -- and it lasts me quite awhile.

The only points I'd take away from it are for the packaging -- because it's watery, the wide-open top often causes too much product to spill out when I pour -- and the fact that it doesn't quite work ALL year for me. I find it works well most of the year, but being from a cold dry climate, winter tends to do a number on my skin and this light moisturizer doesn't always cut it. I just use a heavier cream when needed.

All in all -- this stuff is worth a try!! It might not work for everyone, but for me it's awesome.

I...think this is breaking me out. Not sure what to do now. Maybe it was just coincidental that I got little bumpy things after using this, but i don't know if it's worth it to continue testing it out. Darn the sensitive skin products that break sensitive skin out.

I am in love with this lotion. I got it from Target recently. i was looking for something gentle and light or the summer and so far it has been great. I almost got the one that said something about being "matte" , but you only get half as much lotion. This works just fine. I put it on after cleansing and before my foundation. It's wonderful. Very happy with it.

For the first week using this it seemed ok. Later on I began breaking out really badly and got many cystic pimples I tried this out for about a month but just could not continue with this product. I guess my skin is just too sensitive for this product. It's a bummer b/c it is not scented and goes on very light weight. I will be switching back to my neutorgena oil free moisturizer. The break outs and the cystic pimples was the main down side and even though I do break out sometimes, I have never had cystic pimples until this product, however the mary kay timewise moisturizer did give me some cystic acne as well so I immediately got rid of that!

This is a really good deal for an effective yet light moisturizing lotion for sensitive skin. You get so much product for $5 or $6. It's not enough for me in the winter, as I wake up looking like a grease ball when I use this at night which tells me it's not moisturizing enough and my skin is producing more oil to compensate (while if I use the jar version, I don't wake up very greasy).

It does not irritate my skin, and I like using this as a light moisturizer on the days when I need that.

I've had the bottle for months and still not even 1/2 way through. This stuff lasts forever and for 5 bucks it's the cheapest thing on my vanity. I use a serum and needed a light moisturizer to go with it. I also have the cream for dryer seasons.

Age: 18 & Under   Skin: Acne-prone, Fair   Hair: Brunette   Eyes: Green

I picked this up at Target after my skin had become very irritated and red from using the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Kit. I liked the fact that it looked simple, no frills, and after reading the description, it sounded like it would be great for my irritated sore skin.
I used for quite a while and always had fairly good results with it. Nothing amazing, but it helped my skin feel better, helped with the redness and soreness, and it didn't make my acne flair up at all, which is a miracle. In fact, this has done more for my acne than any other acne product has done.
I got a Clinique sample of their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, and starting using that for some reason, and kind of forget about this stuff. After the sample was gone, I wanted to come back to this, but then I discovered it had mineral oil in it. It never caused a problem for me, but I'm afraid to continually use products with mineral oil. I really wish it didn't contain it, but it does, and I'm having a hard time going back to it.
I know that the Boots Expert Sensitive Hydrating Serum does not have mineral oil in it, so I might try that instead. If nothing else works though, I'd say I'd come back to this. I don't want the mineral oil in it, but it worked so well, so I might just have to give in.

I really like this moisturizer. It hydrates my skin nicely with out leaving it greasy or clogging my pores, which is a huge plus for my fussy skin. The only problem I have with it is the packaging. I would prefer a pump to better control the amount that I need. At times, when I am in a hurry, I can end up pouring too much out of the bottle. Over all this is a small hiccup and I really like the product.

I bought this at Target for $5.99. This product is fragrance free and unlike other products marked fragrance free it really has hardly any smell to it- good start for me-- because I have severe allergies to a myriad of commonly scented personal care items.
First of all, let me say that aside from fragrance I detest moisturizers that are sticky tacky and/or never absorb or leave a shiny film.

This product was a very pleasant surprise. It is light and absorbs rapidly- perfect for my mature summer skin. It did not interfer with makeup application or give me any bad reactions or breakouts.

I do believe this product would be too light for very dry skin period or mature skin in the winter but is perfect as a summer moisturizer.

I picked this up at Target a few months back, and I am absolutely in love. Living in the Northeast, winters tend to be pretty harsh on my skin, but this kept it nice and moisturized! Judging by the price, and quality, I will be buying again.

I purchased this at Target for $5.99. This is a lightweight formula that does not clog my pores or leave an oily residue on my face. The lotion feels watery, so its not a thick consistency. I love this product because the scent is minimal and it dries up fast. I would definately repurchase!

I always thought of myself as having "acne prone" skin, as my highly reactive and sensitive skin would break out in one or two irritating and resistant spots each month. Then, as my skin is ghastly pale, it would take another month or two for the red marks to fade. But how very wrong I turned out to be! Having recently gone off of the combined pill, my skin has completely flared up and I've had to go on antibiotic tablets and Duac gel to combat it. After searching high and low for products that wouldn't make the situation worse, I started using Avene which is very good but also very expensive for my student budget. Now that it's taken 5 months to get my skin back to something that resembles normal, I've been reticent to try anything new in case I irritate it all over again again. But I just can't afford to spend 15 pounds a month on moisturiser, so on a whim, I picked up some of the Boots Expert Sensitive products when they were on offer (2 for 4 pounds in Boots), and hesitantly went about making the switch. After a month, I can say with total confidence that they are amazing! This moisturiser is much better than the Avene Anti-Rougers tht I was using, is a fraction of the price, doesn't clog my pores or irritate my skin, comes in a hygenic pump dispenser, has a higher spf formulation, and leaves my skin moisturised but matte and ready for perfect makeup application. I had always found the Avene slightly too greasy, which meant that my mineral makeup didn't always sit right, but I have had no such problems with the Boots products. A few days ago, I used the Avene moisturiser again just to try to finish up the bottle I had on the bathroom shelf, but it just wouldn't sink in properly and my makeup looked a total disaster all day! I'm so glad I found this, and I will keep buying it and especially when I can find it on offer! HG.
