Love the packaging however the colours don't really show up - I have medium brown skin. It's more of a shimmery blush.
I use it as an eyeshadow separately and it works alot better that way.

This worked very well for me. I have an olive/yellow tone with surface redness and find it hard to find a highlighter that doesn't wear to ashy, too cool pink, or enhance the yellow tones in my skin even more so. This however, wears like a dream. It layers nicely over a pink-ish blush (right now swearing by BB's Antigua) without adding more pink and without looking too silvery. This wears like a pink-pearl shade of highlighter. To apply, I use a loosely packed blush brush that is fanned out. It gives a very sheer wash of shimmer. Her blender blush is gorgeous to apply this with and really lets you hit the apples of your cheeks and swoosh on up. The overall wear of this is very sheer and does not wear like a metallic powder, as other shimmer/highlight powders I've tried can. This does not appear metallic, rather just a very soft, fine shimmer. I have used the LM Shimmer Bloc as well as the Dior and Becca PSP's. Frankly, the LM and Dior, while very finely milled, grab too strongly on my skin and wear in a more opaque manner, like a metallic powder and thus enhances lines and pores. The BB SB's by comparison, results in an overall deposit of shimmer that wears considerably sheerer over the skin surface. Becca is lovely, also very powdery (the most powdery and least shimmer between BB, LM, Dior), but in being more powdery adds a layer of color (very innocuously) and those added tones would be more flattering when I have a tan. Perhaps because the BB doesn't seem to grab on every aspect of skin it's exposed to, the effect is more sheer and thus more subtle. Absolute love. Would absolutely repurchase.

I don't like this one. The shimmery power is not as fine as other ones. It has slivery shimmery powder and cool tone.

I looks really pretty in the pan and the package is excellent, however, I would not use it much as other ones.

I have loved Bobbi Brown products ever since I started using makeup, and the shimmerbrick is no exception! I love the subtle shimmer and glow it gives to my face. I like the shimmerbricks better than a Mac MSF. Even though this is expensive, it is well worth it! This will last for a very long time. I only use this as a highlighter on cheekbones and nose, as for eyeshadow it's not that flattering. It's too sheer for an eyeshadow. Love love love this product! Highlighy recommended :)

This is a great highlighter, that I use on days that I want a more intense glow. It has soo much beautiful shimmer, and a great champagne-y pink base. It looks so beautiful in the pan, and the packaging is great! I definitely want to get more of these shimmer brickss.

This is so pretty but on my NC20 skin it shows up the same as the Pink Quartz shimmerbrick, only slightly less pigmented. I really have to pile this on to get any color, unlike Rose or Peony shimmerbricks, and as eyeshadow I found this to be a little chalky and frosty. All that said, it makes an absolutely beautiful, delicate pinkish-ivory highlighter, so if you need one this is a great buy. And the silver packaging is a nice change from Bobbi's usual black.

The colours are all very sparkling with some frosted effect. They are not as intense as they look in the packing - but that doesn't matter much to me, because otherwise they would be to bright and I wouldn't use them so often.
I wouldn't have bought this, if it was just a blush, cause it would have been to expensive for me then. But since you can use the colours very well as eyeshadows, it's ok.

I love this compact as a highlighter. It imparts a beautiful pinkish glow.
>I also have Benefit's High Beam and wasn't sure if I needed yet another highlighter, but I actually prefer the highlighting effects of this compared to High Beam. The application is easier because it is a powder, while High Beam is a liquid highlighter. High Beam is more of a subtle glow while the shimmer brick is (as its name implies) shimmery. It catches the light much more.
>It is very expensive at $40, but at least it can be used as eyeshadown for a soft shimmery pink. The lightest shade can also be used as a highlighter shadow for under the brow.
>I also have the shimmer brick in Rose and Pink. My Pink shimmer brick broke to pieces when I accidentally dropped it. These shimmer bricks are extremely fragile and very easily breakable. I noticed that they added this disclaimer to the back of the package that "Shimmer bricks are extremely fragile and should be handled with care". I am not rough with my makeup, but accidents to happen. I don't like the fragility of this product at all.
>This is too light to be a blush (and I have very pale skin). If you are looking for a pink blush, the Rose shimmer brick is better. Or you can layer the Platinum Pink over a pink blush to add shimmer.

I would give this product 5 lippies if not for the price and fragility.

Not WOW as I expected. If blend all strips together it's similar to BB Pink. Pink is much softer but the package of Platinum is so cute that I can't stand and bougth it.

This is the first BB Shimmerbrick I've been able to use. The others, like a lot of BB products, are just too brown/neutral for me--I have very pink undertones to my skin and most of BB's colors look dirty or orange on me. This is lovely and SOFT on me. I use it on my cheeks and eyes. Very, very soft and pretty!

I have every one of BB's shimmer bricks and this is my favourite so far!!! The colours blend well, looks natural, great highlight. You can use the colours as eyeshadows too. I love it.

I paid about £30 in the UK for it and I think that is reasonable. They last SO long. A little goes a long way.

The packaging is super cute too!

Wow - I'm alone here but I really disliked this shimmerbrick. I have a few of them (Sandstone, Pink Quartz, Beige) and this one had the worst texture. It seemed like each strip was different - the white gold was chunkier than the rest and the pinks were just not that interesting. It's okay as eyeshadow but I just knew I'd never use it. This looks like frosty drugstore crap to me. I can't believe I'm the only one that feels this way. Oh well. MMM/NC35/Oily

This is my first shimmer brick and all I can say is WOW. After getting this in my hands I cannot understand why it took me so long to buy one of these. Lush - Lux- Fabulous! Every thing is excellent from the packaging to the colors. I use this shimmer brick as a blush, highlighter and eye color. The green is not as intense as shown in the product picture but nevertheless very nice. While this is not cheap it is definitely worth the price as it is such a multi use product. I also love the added plus of the large mirror.

I have clicked YES for buy again but I cannot see myself using this off anytime soon and I think this is also LE. I will definitely buy more shimmer bricks.

In terms of highlighters .. Bobbi's shimmerbricks are on the higher end in terms of price, but they're so dang pretty I can't help but plunk down the money for them. Pink Platinum was her newest brick just released and I promptly marched to the counter to pick mine up and haven't had a single regret in adding this to my arsenal. This is just SO gorgeous! yes, it's pale .. so if you're looking for something highly pigmented, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you want a versatile product to highlight your cheeks, use as a quick sweep of color on eyes, Bobbi's shimmerbricks are fabulous and worth the investment! Platinum Pink is a stunning mix of pink, peach and white and swirled together, brings a delicate glow to my cheeks. It's gorgeous to add shimmer to an otherwise matte plum blush, and it's also gorgeous just swept across my eyelids and paired with a black or charcoal eyeliner. I have most of the shimmerbricks, this and brownie are the standouts for me!

I already have the Pink, Rose, Tawny and Pink Quartz Shimmerbricks and love them all and I have different uses for them. The Pink is a good highlighter, but the individual stripes all look very similar, silvery, and slightly frosty. So using them as eye shadows is not too exciting. The Beige is a good highlighter for warmer FOTDs when I do a bronzey eye. The Rose, Pink Quartz and Tawny are perfect blushes on my pale NW10/15 complexion, they have more pigment and show up nicely, with Pink Quartz being the lightest of the three. The Platinum Pink is pearlier on my skin than the Pink and I like the fact that the individual strips are somewhat different from another - especially the peachy pink, the rosy pink and the silvery platinum pink. So I will definitely experiment more with this shimmerbrick as eye shadows. I can easily see that I will get a lot of use from the Platinum Pink and to me it is an improved version of the original Pink shimmerbrick. Packaging is extra nice - silver with silver faux leather on the lid. Retails for $40, I got mine as a gift, and yes, I would repurchase. Hope BB will make this permanent.

This will most likely become my favorite of the shimmerbricks. I have the pink, rose & tawny and I like all of them but the platinum goes on lighter and I think may be more versatile. I love all the various shades and will use this in many different ways. Also love the faux suede design and the compact itself seems sturdier than the others. This really seems to make my skin look brighter and more vibrant. I said I would buy it again but this will last me a long time I'm sure. I've had very few Bobbi Brown products that I didn't like and this one didn't disappoint in the least, well worth the money.

I have the apricot, bronze, rose, and gold shimmer bricks, and while I like them, I find I don't usually use them often because they can easily be overdone. The shimmer can become very apparent if you put more than a little on, so I was really hoping the platinum pink would be a bit more subtle. I was pleasantly surprised when buying it, because the strips were all really great colors to wear individually, and seemed different from their previous ones. It definitely goes on way more sheer than the other shimmer bricks I've tried, but it's really nice. I do like to emphasize the cheeks, but I don't want to look like a clown, and this product gives you a really beautiful ballerina pink look. You can add it to the temples and nose and chin too and it won't look too pink or strange. I really am very happy with this purchase, and can't wait for the next summer collection to come out! Oh, and the packaging is nice too, because it's sturdy and has a neat faux leather top section on it, so it's a bit more luxurious. The whole case is platinum colored as well.
