I received a large sample of the clear gloss from a friend who bought a pot of the gloss. I would have to say that although I am not a real gloss fan, I have really enjoyed this. It has a texture that is unlike any lip product I've ever tried: it is quite thick and yes, it is sticky. But it also wears tenaciously! It doesn't move around on the lips at all. The first time I took it out for a "test run" I wore it as I walked around a lake for exercise after work. It was in the 90's, very very humid, and I kept drinking from my water bottle. Gloss stayed on. Went home and had dinner. A layer of gloss remained after the meal. During my shower, I had to wash my face twice to get the remaining gloss off. My friend gave me enough so that it will take me forever to use this up. I would say this is a great value, as you get a huge amount of product for the money. I don't think the texture or wear will appeal to everyone, but be forewarned. If you want a long-wearing gloss to dress up the lips a tad, this is the one. I hope this review has been helpful.

I really wanted to like this product, i first read about it on a beauty blog website and the blogger wrote raving reviews about it. i was super excited to try it as seeing the reviews, this seems to be THE ULTIMATE GLOSS. But it turns out to be a so-so product. I got the shine mini kit which contains gold, red, silver and opal. The texture for silver and gold are different than red and opal somehow, not sure if it's intentional. They were rather hard n gel-like so it wasn't easy to apply to lips. The red & opal had better texture, more gooey. Gold, silver & opal are supposed to be shimmery but you cannot see the shimmer at all. They are also not very shiny or glossy, pretty average i say. I've tried other gloss that are better in this area. They do stay put on your lips but I don't think they stay on longer than other gloss. Overall, a pretty disappointing purchase especially considering the price & the hype around this product. Bottomline: it's just an OK gloss, nothing extraordinary.

I only have this in clear - love it though! It's sticky, doesn't dry lips out, doesn't leave gunk on the inner rims. My only gripe is the size of the container & the fact that the lid gets stuck at times.

Wow, wow, wow! As a certifiably insane lover of lip glosses, I can say after much "research" that this is one of the best. I have it in Wine Sinner and I absolutely love it. Upon first trying this gloss, it seems like a big freakin' gluey mess; but once you get the hang of application (I use a clean finger, but you could use whatever you want), it goes on beautifully. I don't even need a mirror to re-apply, as it's pretty forgiving. It STAYS PUT with no creeping or feathering. It moisturizes better than any other lip gloss I've ever used. There is no smell or taste other than a kind of faint castor oilishness that to me smells like No Chapped Lips. It's really, really sticky...and I don't care. In my experience, the degree of stickiness is inversely proportional to the gloss's ability to dry out my lips, so more sticky = beautifully moist lips. It wears for hours, even through snacking and drinking water. I would guess I applied three times during an average workday. The color is a gorgeous sheer juicy mauve, and I can't imagine that it wouldn't look good on everyone. It isn't a plumping gloss, but it does make my lips seem fuller; I guess this is because of the shine and the fact that my lips are so well moisturized that they don't start to shrivel after a day of forced-air heat or AC. The amount of gloss that you get for your $24 is astounding--it's several times the volume of a L'Oreal HiP lip jelly! Now I want this in Opal and Black. And Red. And any other color Poppy decides to come out with in the near future.

I love this gloss. At first I thought that $24 was a bit steep for a lip gloss, but when I saw just how much product you get...I think the price is worth it. You get a lot of gloss in the pot, and a little bit goes a long way. I really like it. I tried the "Red Sinner" and it's a gorgeous glossy see-through red and you can build the color very easily. I can't wait to try the "Clear Sinner" next!

Didn't know what to make of these glosses at first. Seemed tacky and gluey. Received a full-size and mini gift set. After two months, have to say I really, really like them. They seem thick & syrupy at first, but settle into lips nicely, better than Juicy Tubes and Glossimers, Clinique Gloss SPF15. My long hair does not stick to the gloss on a windy day more than any of the aforementioned brands. It is also more moisturizing than all of them. I like the light colors best--pink, gold, silver. Lips look shiny but not oily. Leaves no nasty white residue around dry lips. Only thing I would change is the packaging for the full-size gloss. Very bulky
