I just love the scent!!
This is the best conditioner I have ever used and the I picked it up at local dollar tree. I will go back to get some more before they are gone.

I LOVE this stuff, and was surprised to see some of the negative comments. I picked this up on a whim at a local discount store; it sounded interesting, is 97% natural, and NO silicons...HUGE plus. It was also $2, so I figured I had nothing to lose. I've tried other organic and natural conditioners with no luck whatsoever...most of them leave my extremely long and wavy hair frizzy, dry and a tangled mess. However, this conditioner was awesome! From the moment my hair started to dry, I could tell it was going be a nice product. My hair was so silky and smooth, and not the least bit frizzy (even while air drying). I could easily comb it without worrying about tangles or knots. I agree that in the shower, the smell is way overpowering, and yes, you can still smell it somewhat while your hair is drying. However, I found the lingering smell to be quite pleasant, but not strong enough that you could smell it sitting next to me (my bf is super sensitive to scents, and he didn't complain..haha). I washed my hair with this stuff last night, and this morning, I'm still extremely pleased. My hair is soft and shiny, and there is no lingering scent, as far as I can tell. Like so many products, it's obvious that not everyone loves this stuff, but I am a convert! I only hope that I can find it for cheap again, because I will buy bottles of it! I should mention that I left the conditioner in for about 3-5 minutes in the shower while I was washing my face, etc; I like to let any conditioner sink in for a good amount of time. 4, not 5 stars, only because the smell is a bit strong. I like to enjoy my showers, and not feel like I'm being suffocated with scent.

This was probably the worst conditioner I've EVER used in my life! In all the years I've been washing my hair, NOTHING has dried it out so bad like this crap! Luckily I got it in a swap so I didn't waste money, but OMG this stuff is TERRIBLE! It did absolutely NOTHING to condition my hair, and I knew something was wrong straight away when i rinsed it off in the shower and my hair didn't feel all smooth and silky when I usually rinse my conditioner out. It felt tangled and dry, and sure enough, when my hair dried, it was a big knotted puffball of frizz and tangles. Would not recommend to ANYONE!

The performance of this conditioner was OK for my non-damaged wavy hair. Conditioned, detangled, did not coat or weight my hair down. I did let it sit for a minute though....conditioners with natural oils tend to need a little time for the oils to penetrate/attach to the hair shaft and actually condition.

Now, about the smell. In shower there is an overpowering sharp floral-almost citrusy odor. Very strong too. This scent fades quickly after rinsing. And then there is the sandalwood undertone. I like sandalwood, but this is a bit much. It lingers forever, even through a shower and re-rinsing of my hair without washing it.

All in all, I don't think this product is worth what it retails for. But it doesn't suck (performance wise) and I'll use it up.

Doesn't add any moisture. used the shampoo w/ it and after a couple of weeks my hair was really dry. Left my hair frizzy and fluffy (and not in a good way).

Waste of $$.

I've been using this for a while and it's pretty good! It has no silicones and makes my hair feel very soft and smooth (though puffy because there are no silicones to weight it down). I also find it easier to go a few days without shampoo when I use the shampoo and conditioner from this line. I like it the best of the natural/mostly natural conditioners I've tried for daily moisturizing (ie no protein).

Sadly it's not good at detangling.

The scent alone is enough for me to never use this conditioner again. In the store it smelled like a nice light lotus scent; in the shower it was terrible. It smelled like bad cologne, kind of like those Axe body sprays for men. I rinsed as well as I could and let my hair dry overnight but I am still getting whiffs of it and it's still really bad. It was not very moisturizing at all either. If this conditioner had an amazing effect on my hair I could see maybe using it and putting up with the scent, but I just can't find anything good about it. I hate to let it go to waste since I paid $6.99 for it, but I think this one's going in the trash if no one wants it.

I picked this up because it was free after the mail-in rebate. I haven't noticed any change in my hair after switching to this conditioner. $7.99 is pretty cheap, but there are even cheaper products that give me the same results, so I don't see the sense in buying this again. If you're dead-set on using an inexpensive, mostly natural conditioner, than I'd recommend it. I only worry about using natural shampoo, however, so I can live without this product. It has the strongest smell of any shampoo/conditioner I've ever used. It's not a bad smell -- it's a very floral smell, which isn't really to my personal taste. I can't tell if it lingers in my hair afterward because my hair isn't long enough to reach under my nose -- that said, if the scent does last after washing, I think only people who are right near your hair would smell it. A few reviewers have mentioned the "screw-top" cap as a negative. You don't need to remove the entire cap in order to get the product out. The rewiever who said it is a pull-top was correct. It takes a little effort to open it the first time you use it, but after that, it's simple to open -- not a hassle at all to get the product out if you're doing it correctly.

I bought this at SDM because it had a rebate coupon on the bottle and because it was CG-friendly (no silicones). I used it to cowash this morning and while it wasn't very moisturizing, it rinsed out easily enough and left my hair with an amazing scent. To my nose, it smells strongly of sandalwood which I adore. I'd buy it again for the scent alone. I used some of it as a leave in before my gel, but didn't find it moisturizing enough. I agree with the last poster about the large ball screwtop not being environmentally friendly and way too cumbersome to use in the shower. I'm not sure if it's even recyclable. Still I would buy this again for the scent alone and as a light rinse out conditioner.

I picked this up as an impulse buy one night after work. I prefer natural products and thought I'd give it a shot because my hair needed some moisture. I quickly became annoyed at the large ball "screw top." However, I recently went on the Samy website and found out you are supposed to pull the ball up to dispense the product and not unscrew it. At any rate, the large plastic ball is a huge waste of plastic for such a bells and whistles function/decoration and how is that earth-friendly? The product also has a very strong chemical fragrace which almost made me gag the first time I used it. The moisturizing properties are lacking and there is little to no slip upon application. I doubt I will try any more products from this line.

This was terrible - it did not moisturize or detangle my hair. It smelled ok, but there was nothing great about it. For the price I paid, 6.99, it was good for an "all natural" line. It would be good for someone with fine hair, but this did not work for my long curly hair which I blow out straight.

It wasn't moisturizing enough, but since it's free of chemicals and and 97.1% percent natural it was ok. Didn't leave any buildup and left my hair shiny since it has no silicone which is good. I won't buy again because I'm going to try other natural hair products. Although, will come back to it, if don't find anything better.
