I sincerely think that most women don't know nothing about skin care effectiveness. Perricone's products are OVER PRICED and he doesn't have ONE SINGLE study TO PROOF the effectiveness of his products.
NO ONE SINGLE study in the doctor's community and Journals.
He is a great businessman since there are lots of stupid out there to buying his crap.
I returned this fishy crap back to sephora after 1 single use.

This product definitely delivered on its claims to firm and refresh skin. When my skin looks tired, this instantly gives it a lift. The smell is a little off putting but not terrible and it fades. It has a good consistency - moisturizing enough but very quickly absorbed with no residue left behind so it is ideal for daytime use. I liked to use on no makeup days because it refreshes the skin and keeps me looking awake. 4 lippies because the effects aren't permanent, but still impressive.

I really like using it. It is effective. I am using it for almost 4 months. You can see the effects in just a week. I have smaller pores, clearer complexion. I don't believe that it helps fade the dark spots etc. but I may say that the overall complexion looks more even. Plus I can say that it prevents sagging. I feel my face is firmed after I use it.
The smell is not really nice but it just goes away in 5 minutes.
I have a very sensitive skin and it didn"t give me any redness or an uncomfortable feeling.

I don't know if I could purchase this for so much moolah! I got this as a free sample. The price was marked on it 65 bucks and it was free!!!! I have been using this for nearly 2 weeks and I have noticed an improvement in my skin texture and pore size. It really does smell like dead fish though. I agree with everyone who has said that on here. I am also extremely confused with people who say it smells like flowers, cake or lemon. Maybe they have come up with ways to mask the fishy smell since it is pretty overwhelming. For those who have can afford to spend big bucks on beauty this is an amazing product!

I was at Sephora and got the trial kit with the citrus face wash, the face finishing moisturizer, toner and this. This is the product I use consistently. It really does work. I sometimes use it all over my face but at least once a day use it for my eye area. My crow feet are tiny fine lines now. I owe it to this product, my AMBI cream and to using my Olay brush every day to exfoliate. I will repurchase but a small bottle at a time as this is outrageously expensive.

I love this product. As it does what it claims & it is wonderful! I love the pump applicator, I find it very sanitary & the way it sinks into my skin is divine! I believe this has helped me look my best everyday & at 47, that is saying a lot! I am white-knuckling the aging process & this has tighten & lifted my skin, making me look fresh & healthy. My skin is better prepared for my makeup & I just feel better knowing I look my best! I find I have a glow that is seen with makeup & without! I also have Rosacea & this has not irritated my skin in the least. Run & get this baby, it is WORTH it!

I got this product sample and i love it pretty much. Just applied not many days, but can see the result significantly. After a day putting this treatment on, my friends and husband noticed changes on my skin, more supple, brighter and smoother. Then i continue for 2nd days, i can feel myself my face is firmer. This product just amazing. I will pay for it since it really work on me.

"Advanced Face Firming Activator Fine Line Reducer and Pore Refiner". I had forgot I had this, I've been trying to use use my PerriconeMD Stimucell since it's about to expire. Btw Perricone products have an expiration date, maybe that's why some reviewers have noted a fishy smell...I don't know, but mine has no fishy smell and I purchase my Perricone products from PerriconeMD online. Anyhow it seems to work as claimed, pore refiner=yes, line reducer=yes... as it makes my face look smoother. Though the pump never worked and I have to screw open the top to get the product out I still very much like it.

OMG I could not tolerate the fishy smell!!! I had to send it back despite all the reviews of people claiming to look 10 years younger. There's got to be a product out there that does the same thing WITHOUT THE FISH SMELL.
Looking good is also feeling good. How can you when you smell like old fish?

this made my skin feel so firm and smooth I love it

My sister has a new-found favorite skin-care product! According to her, the Perricone MD Advanced Face Firming Activator smooths fine lines, shrinks pores, and makes your skin look smoother and more supple over all.
Although it's a bit pricey (comes in 2 fl. oz. bottles for $120), it's rated 5 out of 5 stars on almost all reviews, and they are said to last a while. The only con that I have noticed on various reviews is that it smells bad, but I never even noticed it. The scent is kind of coconut-y. If it helps, put on the Perricone Face Finishing Moisturizer on top. The Cold Plasma is the one that smells like fish!!

Really? I mean, really? All users saw amazing results but me? I bought this product on the recommendations from MUA. It sounded great: refined pores, firming, smoothing, de-wrinkling, discolorations disappearing. Just what I needed for my 50+ skin. I used this for six weeks, applying it every morning as instructed to my face, neck and hands. And at the end of six week the only change I saw on my face was the delighted smile turning to an angry frown for having paid $200 USD for nothing. I honestly saw no change whatsoever on my face, neck - which is getting that crepey look, or hands. I think the smoothing effect is just the silicones. It's main ingredient is DMAE, a product which can be found for much much less elsewhere. Sigh. I'm beginning to think all these "youth in a bottle" claims prey on our hopes but deliver nothing. Maybe the only real solution is a mini-facelift.

I got this as sample. I wore this under makeup and was really impressed with it- it really smoothed out my skin and my makeup looked great over it - it stayed on all day, looking fresh! Pores become invisible, skin looks great. I know it's not meant to be a primer, but for me it served as one. The thing is, I suspect this made me break out, and it's not exactly mattifying. My face wasn't terrible oily with it on or anything, and my skin had a nice glow to it as I wore it throughout the day, but I do need more a little more oil control. Who knows, it could've been anything that made me break out, but I'm hesitant to put it on my face again. It stinks cause it really did smooth out my face and made my makeup go on so nicely. I will give it a 4 for being a great product, but for the price and my skin type, I don't think it's something I could actually purchase. Oh, and I never smelled any weird fish scent, so that was never a problem! Def a great product, prob more if your skin is dry or normal.

This stuff is really great. Mine actually doesn't smell like fish--it has a faint, pleasant floral smell. I bought this in the middle of winter when my skin needed an extra kick. Usually I use the Face Finishing Moisturizer day and night, and while my skin was doing alright, it was missing its glow. This stuff is pretty expensive, but a little does go a long way. Occasionally it does burn the skin even where my regular moisturizer doesn't. I would repurchase but I'm hoping I won't have to for a while.

The stuff does smell bad - plastic first, then fish that lingers - but it works. I wish there was a solution to the smell since I don't know when it dissipates enough to be kissed. But yes - it works. Pores are refined, face looks smoother and more polished, and firmed. I haven't found anything better. Too bad about the smell - if you have suggestions to counteract it, or what to buy instead, keep them coming.

Would I buy this product again? YES... I cannot do without it!
Refines pores, Kept me looking 10 years younger than my true age. I love it!
For anyone that complains about the smell of his products, just put on the face finishing moisturizer afterwards. (it smells like rose water)
Personally, I do not mind putting up with temporary fishy smell for the awesome results.

I was excited to try this product however after shortly putting this on, the "fishy" smell made me sick. So much that I had to wash my face and hands twice to get rid of the stench. What a shame as this product must be very effective (it has a large following with clients claiming to look 10 - 15 years younger than their age).
Luckily as a day alternative, I tried Perricone M.D.'s High Potency Amine Complex Face Lift and this gave me incredible results (my skin looks smooth, firm, uplifted, airbrushed, bright with smaller pores) without any horrid stench. I am impressed with the quality Perricone M.D.'s revamped line of products but I am severely sickened by any faint smell of fish in my skincare. I am very excited about trying his other products (the last time I used his products were in 2003).
I am Korean, 43 years old (facialists /aestheticians guess I am 30 - 33). I have combination skin (dry in winter, slightly oily in summer however very prone to plugged pores and occasional breakouts). I use: Natura Bisse, Perricone MD, Jurlique, Cosmedicine, DHC Olive Oil Cleanser, and MD Forte Cleanser II & III.

This is without question the product that I have used that has provided me with the most dramatic results. This serum tightens the face, makes pores NON-EXISTENT and gives the skin a glow that is COMPLETELY unrivaled by any other product. This product is indeed expensive, but lasts a long time and WORKS, so its is definitely worth it.
I absolutely love this product for my combo skin and will never ever be without it!

I have been using a Perricone "system" (cleanser, neuropeptide facial creame, restorative facial cream for day, advanced eye cream, and this firming activator). Of these products, this one has delivered the most apparent results. I put it on LAST and let it dry. My jaw line, neckline, outer eyes and forehead show immediate and long term firming.
12/13/09 Edit: This is the only Perricone product I will continue to purchase. The others are not only ineffective for me, but they smell HORRIBLE.. Some say "fishy." I say wet diaper let in a hot car on summer's day at the beach. Stency, with an undertone of amonia. It's just offensive and, on my skin, it lingers. The firming activator is worth the unpleasant smell, however, It contours my face beautifully.
