Love this thing. I was using an elastic headband and either a medium-sized claw or clip to pull back as much of my hair as possible, but w/ a chin-length bob that's layered, this was not always successful in keeping my hair back and dry. I saw this on drugstore.com on sale and figured I'd try it--glad I did! It keeps everything back and tucked away and makes washing my face and applying all of my lotions and potions easy. I throw it in the washing machine once a week or so. I personally hang-dry mine, but it would probably be fine in the dryer. I can see this being a plus for those w/ long hair b/c you can tuck your hair into the Tassi and none of it will flop back over your shoulder when you lean over the sink. A note: I wear it backwards w/ the logo up front above my forehead. This "end" is wider, so it works better for keeping the layers back. If you have medium to long hair, make sure the logo's in the back by the nape of your neck so there's extra room to tuck your hair. Also, if I lost this, yes I'd absolutely repurchase, but I'd probably wait for a sale. Otherwise, it's $15. There's also a "Tiny Tassi" size for kids and people w/ smaller heads. No measurements on the website, though. It just says it's 30% smaller.

So I have been thinking for a while to buy Tassi. It certainly isn't cheap, but let me say WOW! I have long straight (almost asian) hair with bangs and this headband easily takes them out of my face and DOES NOT flatten my do. I would repurchase this!

This was the first time i was suckered in by the banner ad on mua. lol.
I had been using an alligator clip and an elastic headband when washing my face/doing my makeup. The one thing that bothered me was that every time I would have a major dent in my bangs and have to wet and re dry them. I thought this would be the solution to that, I canīt say that it solved that problem (still get the weird bangs thing/have to re-wet/ re-dry ), but I prefer this to the alligator clip/headband thing. I do like that i do not have to tie the rest of my hair up, and just twist& tuck it in the tassi. I never had a problem with the hair going in my face while washing or while doing my makeup.
It is dorky as hell, my h can barely keep a straight face if he accidentally catches a glimpse of me with this thing on. :p
If you choose to purchase a tassi, it is best to be bought on sale or when a promotion is going on.
I prefer this to a headband& clip and use it daily, but I would not consider this a beauty necessity. Recently at CVS i saw something similar to this called Turbie Twist head band for $4.99.

I thought this was a gimmicky product and I'd be sorry that I'd bought it, but I love this piece of toweling and elastic. My hair is short on the sides and long on top, and the elasticized terrycloth headband I was using wasn't cutting it for keeping my hair out of the way while washing my face, not to mention that it left my hair in strange shapes when I removed it. With the Tassi, you slip the whole thing over your head, then pull it up. If your hair is long, you can tuck it into the back; I don't need to do that, but it works equally well. It's not tight and is easy to adjust, yet it keeps every strand and tendril out of the way while you do your beauty thing. And when you pull it off, your bangs will not stand straight up, nor will the hair at the nape of your neck. It's very soft and holds up well to washing. The Tassi costs about $15, and is well worth it as I use mine at least twice a day. I will repurchase if this one ever wears out!

Got two Tassi. Love them!! I use them for facial cleansing, hair treatments, simply keeping hair off the face. Tassi does not smash your hair or tight around the ears/face with the elastic band. Reasonably price on QVC purchasing set of 2. Plan on buying another set. Great for traveling. Great gift giving, too.

I love my Tassi! I won it in a contest on a beauty blog. It's a terrycloth elasticized towel-like thingy; it holds your hair when you wash your face or do skin treatments. The reason I like it is that unlike a ponytail or headband it doesn't mess up, flatten or crimp your hair, and all your hair stays back and out of your way - no ponytail end falling forward and dragging in the sink! It's not glamourous at all - my husband laughs every time he sees me in it. But it's super-easy and it really works. It launders well and the elastic has not lost its stretch in 6+ months.
