For what I use this for, it's great! I only use this as a brow bone highlight and on the inner lid. (I like a matte inner lid highlight and a satin/shimmery corner highlight & not shimmery for both) For those uses, this is great! I don't find it chalky, but I'm not applying all over the lid, so I don't know how that'd look, but I suspect chalky because I have medium skin (NC32) yellow undertones, so really light/white shadows don't usually look good all over my lid. I use this like I do my MAC Blanc Type, and it's so similar to me. Great shadow.

Uhhh, I've tried this before thinking it would be a perfect matte highlight. But, it's just plain chalky, no pigmentation, just a powdery mess. Would be a lovely eyeshadow IF IT SHOWED UP. I don't understand the high ratings...hmm

I literally paid $1 (CAD) for this little matte eyeshadow. It's an off-white shade, completely matte and chalkier than expected. I played around with it as a brow bone and inner eye corner highlighter. My favourite way to use this though is as an under eye brightener. I have an olive/tan complexion (NC 30/35), and you'd think this would be too light, but the nice thing is, it's very flattering for your under eye area to be a little lighter than the rest of your complexion. I would buy it again if I could find it for the same low price. But the way I'm using it, it'll last me for a long, long time!

I got it on sale for 1.49. Is it the best matte Ive ever used? No. But for a drugstore matte as a base shadow, it works good. Im not sure if id pay full price for it.

Due to the high reviews and lovely packaging, I had really wanted to like this this product, but I am so disappointed. Its a lovely matte colour, and has nice pigmentation, so I was hoping to use it as a nice wash over the lid, of perhaps to layer it on my cream eyeshadow base. But it just looked so chalky! Plus, it did not blend well at all. All in all, its just not that great.

This is a staple in my makeup routine and something that I would buy over and over again (so please don't discontinue this product!) I use it as a highlight on my brow bone and/or a wash all over my lid. Great pigmentation, blendable, slightly powdery, but I can live with it. Highly recommended :)

Someone else wrote about this being a good concealer. To that end I want to add that while never using this for that purpose on my face, I have used this on my decolletage area to tone down redness. Even wearing a high spf this area gets red in the warm weather. I was self conscious and regular makeup wasn't working well texture, nor appearance wise, you could "see" the makeup.
Tried this because at one time I used mineral foundation for any such redness/splotchiness. Works so well I hit pan on the first and already have a back up. Its fine for under brow highlighting, not amazing, but certainly more than adequate. I like it on the decolletage because you can't see nor feel it on.

This stuff is amazing!
I use it all the time for a concealer (yes I know im pale...)
I hit pan on my old one and ran out so I bought a new one.
Its really amazing and NOT chalky.
Its butter smooth when I apply it.
I think everyone should own one.

Crumbles like no tomorrow, isn't unique, and doesn't last all day.
I like the bit of shimmer it provides so I apply this for an all over eyelid shimmer effect. Thats my only use for it. Doesn't mix well with the water.

Found this in the Dollar Tree for a dollar. Worth every penny. Lovely for a light wash of color.

I remember buying this because it was on clearance and I needed a highlight colour so I thought this would work nicely. 'Vintage Lace' is an off-white cream shade with a matte finish. I love the pigmentation, it's quite rich but I absolutely hated the texture. This shadow is extremely chalky and makes it very hard to blend. It's not pressed firmly and tends to crumble very easily with the sweep of a brush.

It is a very decent product for the price. I usually use it as a brow highlight when I wear shimmery eyeshadows and don't want to add more shimmer onto my face. I haven't tried it on the lid though, but I may. Oh, I also have one more use for it, which is to use it as a setting powder when I put on a ultra-pale/white foundation (for theatre or Halloween, of course). It makes the skin looking very polisehed, smooth and flawless!

I adore this eyeshadow. I actually use it as an eyeliner (not on my waterline, but below it). It has a very natural color to it-- especially if you're fair skinned. The color gave me a nice "awake" appearance.

I don't really have much use for this color. It is very nice, and very pretty, natural and feminine, but I have a million of them. Not original, but it was cheap, and it's a good backup.

This isn't so bad in terms of pigmentation but it is rather chalky. This colour makes for a good highlight for both brow-bone and occasionally I'll use it for cheekbones too. If it wasn't so chalky for me, I would find more use for it.

This is a good shadow. I use it everyday as my highlight. It is pretty pigmented and the color is great and very natural. However, there can be a lot of fallout with this one. It's kind of chalky, and lasting power isn't good. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose and I'll continue to use it til it's gone (which will take a looongggg time). I've been using this daily for over a year now and still is not even CLOSE at all to hitting pan.
It's a nice shadow, but honestly, there are better ones out there that are less chalky and lasts longer. Try wet n wild's single shadow "brule."
