My boyfriend attempted to buy me some polishes to be nice and he purchased me three of these. I was skeptical as I normally buy OPI and the like, but wow I was very impressed! Last much longer than anticipated for a cheaper brand, the colors were very vibrant, the brush painted evenly with good coverage, consistency was awesome, shiny and quick drying. I put a quick dry clear coat of some other brand over top and they look amazing! Def worth a try and great for touch ups as it dries super fast!

Out of all the drugstore nail polishes under 5 this brand by far has to be my favorite, the colors are pigmented the formula is good and the lasting power is fair for such an inexpensive brand. I have quite a few nail polishes from this brand and continue to purchase more.

i bought Times Square and the color is beautiful! great pigmentation! does dry fast too.
the brush is relatively wide and makes application easy, and smooth :)
with that being said, application can also be a little messy because the consistency of the polish is a little on the "looser", "watery" side but still very pigmented. 2 coats do the trick a third could probably be done without making your nails feel thick with polish. a top coat completes the look.
the wear of the polish for me (thin, medium/short nails) is about 2 days. which is totally fine with me because i cant stand seeing my nails the same color for more than that.
bottom line, i would re-buy in several colors!

I guess this really all depends on which ones you buy because I bought Tribeca Silver and East Village and East Village was awful. It came out really bad and if you put another coat on it just didn't work. Now Tribeca Silver on the other hand was fantastic. It's a nice and sparkly silver color. It also matches a lot more of what I wear so that's even better. It also worked if you put more coats so I was satisfied completely. I threw out East Village because it didn't do it's job. It completely sucked at drying and I don't really know why. Anyway, if you decide to go out and get some colors, be careful because I seriously believe that it could be hit and miss. Or I could be wrong and it could have been how these were shipped. I don't know but either way I would still give it a try.

I currently only have one color, Lincoln Center 232B, and I am in love with this color. I was searching for a dupe for Deborah Lippmann (True Blood) Let it Bleed and was led to Essie Wicked, and finally I came across NYC Lincoln Center as a dupe to Essie Wicked. This is a gorgeous dark blackened blood red. I got satisfactory coverage in 2 coats. Removing is tricky since this color can stain nails and fingers pink. I've worn this for 5 days (w/ Poshe base and Sally Hansen top) and other than tip wear, this polish held up very well and I only had to remove b/c I broke my nail. The bf surprised me w/ the Let It Bleed set for my bday, so I will update with a comparison.

UPDATE: Wore this (Lincoln Center) on one hand and Deborah Lippmann's Let It Bleed on another, and I think I actually preferred this. Going on, this looks redder while Let It Bleed looks more purple, but after both are dry and set they look nearly identical. Application and wear was also very very similar. This wins for me due to the redder color and faster dry time.

I'm torn, here. On the one hand, this is cheap polish, and the colours are great. On the other, I put it on, and within a few hours, it's chipped or smudged, even with good topcoat. I want to love it, and for a fast manicure when I don't have time to devote to it, it's great. But there's no staying power at all, and I expect at least an afternoon out of my nail polish, even if it was only about $2 at Target.

ETA: The problem is with the cream coats. Anything with glitter or shimmer holds up fine with a topcoat. Tribeca Silver lasts about 4-5 days without chipping with a topcoat, and that's good enough for a $2 polish for me. Updated the lippies to reflect.

i have 212 mulberry street and even though i like the color (off white-light beige), im not impressed with the texture. i have to use 3 coats because its quite streakey and even then its not good enough. i have the newer product of nyc (expert last nail polish) and the texture is much better. i would recommend that and not this one.

Just bought my first New York Color Polish today in Peach Sparkle which is part of their LE Summer in the City collection and I absolutely LOVE it. It is a gorgeous light peach color with small gold flecks of gold shimmer, what you see in the bottle is exactly what you get when applied to your nail. I don't own any color like this and honestly haven't even seen any color like this, at least recently. This is the color that I was hoping Essie's Tart Deco would come out like when I picked it up, but it failed and looked absolutely nothing like it did in the bottle. This color literally glides on your nail like butter so it's pretty hard to mess up. It is pretty sheer so it took me 3 coats for it to become opaque, but your could probably do 2 thicker coats to get that desired look. It dries very quick too which is always a plus. I just put it on so I don't know about wear time yet, but I'll be sure to post an update. I got this at Rite Aid and the price listed was $1.99, but there was a coupon on one of the other NYC polish displays for .50 off of any New York Color in a New York Color Minute Quick Dry nail polish so I picked this color up and the other color in their Summer in the City display golden glam so I got them both for $3.26 and that's with .18 tax and my wellness card discount since I am over 500 points so you can't beat that price. I would totally recommend this color to anyone and can't wait to try out the other one I purchased today. This is such a fun Summery color ... love it!

I have 4 shades from this line : Sidewalkers ( a light grey creme ) Spring Street ( A Bright Red Orange ) East Village : A sheer beautiful tealish color and Matte Me Crazy ( mattefying top coat which I love ) All of the solid colors dry with a nice, cream, glossy finish. The polish is on the runny side a BIT, but I like it because its easier to control and apply.
Sidewalkers:
Pros:
- Dries Quick
- Very Chic Grey
- Opaque in 2 Coats
- Dries Very Glossy
Spring Street :
- Beautiful Bold Hot Red Orange
- Dries with a glossy finish
- Opaque in two coats
- Dries quick
East Village :
-Beautiful Color
- Dries Fast
- Dries Glossy
Cons:
- Kinda sheer and takes one last coat to be opaque, but its not an issue for me. By 3 coats, the color is just like it is in the bottle, if anything, a tad bit more intense. Overall, I give this a five. For five reasons: AFFORDABLE at only 1.72 $$ per bottle. Gorgeous colors, :) . Dries fast hence there names. Good formula if you like formulas that are a LITTLE BIT on the runny side. And provides a nice glossy finish without a top coat. The matte top coat does wonders, too!! Gives a matte finish to anything! Please go out and buy !

I have this polish in a lovely gray color called Sidewalkers, and I get compliments every time I wear it. It is a very true gray--and a dupe for much more expensive polishes (like Zoya's Dove). The formula is a little thin, but easy to work with. Overall, application is easy. (For ease of coverage, I actually prefer it to my Essie polishes.) I achieved full coverage in 2 coats. Dries very quickly. With SecheVite as my topcoat, it is LITERALLY a 5 minute manicure.

I wish I could give it 3.5 lippies, however, due to wear. I'm not sure if there was a compatibility issue with my topcoat, but I have had some real problems with "tip wear" and chipping.

Great creme-color coverage for a bargain price!

I have this in "Lincoln Park Lavender" and it is absolutely stunningly gorgeous!! This polish makes my heart sing it's so pretty!! I have no complaints. It looks beautiful on my nails against my skin tone. It's a nice quality and a great price. This is possibly my second favorite nail polish.

Edit: My mistake. The correct name is :"Lincoln Square Lavender"

I love these nail polishes and they are super cheap! I've collected 7 of the shades now, and every time I buy a new one it's my favorite. Right now that's Lincoln Square Lavender. It's not what I would call lavender, it's more of a purpley pink (I bought it for the color in the bottle not the name). Somehow, this nail polish color was a pink I didn't already own! It's girly without being an in-your-face pink. IN LOVE. All of the nail polishes go on smooth and I have yet to have one go sticky on me.

I own 4 polishes in this line, my favorite being Madison Avenue. This particular shade reminds me of my "Rimmel Stiletto Red" only better because of the lovely golden flecks that shimmer throughout the polish. It is one of my favorite polishes, and a steal at $1.99. I also own Central Park, Park Avenue, and Canal Street. I wouldn't purchase these particular colors again but I will continue to buy shades from this line. Very quick drying and quality formulas.

I needed red nails on a special occasion and didnt have the time to drive to work and get a manicure so I went to target and grab this polish in Time Square.
First I was like Wow $1.99 what a steal, considering I heard the rave about this in the YT community.

I love the fact that the color was True to color in two coats, and the fact it was affordable.

The packaging is normal not to fancy or anything.

I am a license estithecian and nail technician. Even though I am a professional I cannot paint my own nails to save my life (ask any pro).

When using this product Applying makes it easy since its not a thick texture (more like thin) and with the brush the product glides on the nail smoothly.

However to every pro there might be a con. This product has a few.

It does not take one minute to dry... (more like 10-15 mins)
After it is dry give or take 1-2 hours it starts to chip horrundeniously

I've only use this product once and would not purchase this product. Next time I will just go to work and get a quick polish change.

I have this up for Swap if you just want to try it out

Ok I honestly dont get what people like about these nail polishes. The one I have is completely horrible. I have the green colour 206 east village. Ok the color pay off is really bad. It took me not 2 coats to get the right color, but 4!! And that it dries in a minute is complete bull. The first time i used it it took me 1 hour for it to try. Maybe that was because of all the layers which were needed but still. One hour!! (I kept touching things and needed to re-do it, such a pain..). After reading this many good review I wonder if mine was just wrongly made. No idea, anyway even though they are cheap wont buy them again.
Ok this is quite a negative review, but I do got to admitt that after 4 layers and 1 hour of sitting still the color is very pretty.

1. Love the packaging! - Tall narrow bottle, flat wide brush! Looooove the brush! Smooth application.

2. Love the formula! - Smooth, creamy texture glides evenly & easily w/o flooding into cuticles. Easy to apply!

3. Love the colors! - Bowery Black is my favorite. I also have Chinatown (goth purple) & Grand Central Station (clear) which makes a fantastic quick-dry topcoat! Love it.

4. Love the convenience! - Most drugstores carry it. It's universally accessible almost anywhere.

5. LOVE THE PRICE! - Only $2! Excellent quality product in excellent quality packaging using excellent quality materials that costs almost nothing? That's crazy. But I love it!

6. Great color names - I love that the colors in this line are named after places in NYC, my hometown.

Chipping is never an issue for me. The durability of any nailpolish for me always depends on the type of basecoat I use underneath it. If I use OPI over Yello-Out it will chip & peel within a day, but if I use a bonding or moisturizing basecoat instead it will last till I take it off (plus short nails don't get beat up as much as long nails). So I never rate a nail color on its chip-resistance - they're all the same to me.

I recently discovered this great, very inexpensive brand of nail polish at Walmart and am scooping up all the colors I can. The hubby knowing every wk., while shopping for groceries and etc., am coming home with at least 2 new colors. A cheap, little splurge for myself.

This one is #220 / Canal Street, which is a nice, deep, raisin shade.

I also have the #242 / Uptown, which is a neat, bright bubble gum pink shade.

I have more shades of theirs but can't find them all right now. I have a huge lunch box full of my polishes.

I agree that with 2 coats and the splurge of a fast drying top coat, these are a great value and come in so many colors. With 2 carefully applied coats and 1-2 coats of Sally Hansen's 'Super Quick Drying ' top coat, my mani lasts for at least a wk., or however long I choose it to.

PROs:
Dries fast
lid is easy to hold, so it's easy to apply
The color choice was okay, not huge, but had one I liked just fine
Price was good

Cons:
Even with two coats it chips in a matter of hours and looked really cruddy within 2 days

Despite the price I would not buy it again.
